The property and supplies were as specified. The decor was whimsical and interesting. Loved the kitchen! The porch and backyard sitting areas were welcome areas to host conversations and child play. Suggest bug repellent supplies (i.e. citronella) would be helpful for summer guests.

The house was beautiful, checking in and out was easy, and communicating with the property manager was a breeze super friendly and very helpful we loved our stay here!

Underrated how big this house is. Could easily sleep more than listed. Very clean and close to the beach Yorktown, Williamsburg etc. nice find and enjoyed our stay.

I am so glad I picked this house for me and my family to stay in while in town for a retirement. The house was Amazing. So much room , beds for everyone , kitchen stocked , bathroom had what u needed. When you walked in you felt right at home . 10 out of 10 .
Thanks for a great stay.

The house was very well stocked. It was clean. It also provided us with the necessary space needed.
4.8
The house was very large and we liked that there were separate places for the kids to hang out. Layout is kind of choppy but that worked out for us. There were several spaces that we just did not use so we could have easily had more people with us.
Bathrooms are very small but nice. Plenty of towels and blankets for everyone, kitchen was nice and large.

House was beautiful. Had every amenity we need plus some. only a few blocks walk to beach. It's a great place for a girls weekend or a family vacation. Back yard and Fire pit area were Awesome!

This property was exactly what was needed for the amazing time my wife and college family needed. To be honest it was way more than what we expected the listing does under sale it, but there was no disappointments.

The house was just perfect! Several bedrooms, à large dining room, à spacious living room. Everything was clean. The only negative is the lack of cooking space. Week-end had a lot of fun and we warmly recommend this house.

We had a great time with the family. This spacious home allowed us to all move about and gather together for meals and games. The living areas had plenty of sitting for our family of 10. Everything was clean and updated. I liked that our married son and his wife could have their bedroom with attached bath and family room area right next to their kids bedroom, and somewhat secluded from the living areas.
The arcade games were great.
It would have been nice to have one more bathroom.

We stayed at this house with extended family for a beach trip. The house had plenty of space to host 6 adults and 9 kids. There were a lot of sleeping options and the kids had room to spread out and play in the different living areas.
The layout of the house is quite odd - the room with the futon and adjoining room with bunk beds is only accessible through two of the rooms with queen beds. Likewise, two of the three bathrooms are only accessible via bedrooms. The layout doesn't allow for a lot of privacy. It worked fine for us since we were travelling with family. And the kids loved exploring and discovering all the nooks and crannies.
Also just a note that the walk from the house to the beach isn't the best. There isn't sidewalk the whole way and you walk past an empty building and a convenience store before you reach the beach driveway.
The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of coffee pods, crock pot, and basic cookware. We cooked meals there daily and had plenty of space. The outdoor was also spacious and comfortable.
Overall the house fit our needs, our communication with the manager was pleasant and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay. It was a great value for the amount of space and proximity to the water.

This house was very clean. Lots of comfortable sleeping options. The dining room has a nice large table. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils. We grilled and everything worked great! Pictures are as advertised. Easy walk to Buckroe beach. Good family getaway house.

Beautiful home with plenty of beds for the entire family. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked most meals for a group of 16. Within walking dustance to the beach. The upstairs thermostat needs some improvement. Fans were provided but was warm even though outside temps in the 60's. Overall, great place to stay.

The house is beautiful! The wifi did go out a couple times, but comes back quickly. The house is about 40 minutes from the Historic Triangle, but the drive isn't bad at all, barely any traffic. The thermostat is on some kind of schedule so you may notice it gets real cold or real hot sometimes. Not a big deal, we just put it back where we wanted it. We would stay here again, the place really is nice and sleeps so many people. The host was responsive as well when I contacted them.

The house is 125 years old, but recently renovated. The host was fabulous to work with, very responsive when we had questions. We didn’t have any issues while there. Great location, 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths kitchen had everything needed, tvs everywhere. Very close to the beach. We had a great experience and hope to return next year.

Despite the room damaged by Hurricane Ian altering or sleeping space. Everyone truly enjoyed the home and our stay.
The overall restoration of the house was excellent. Loved it's uniqueness. The backyard space and amenities were awesome. Proximity to the beach and our event venue, perfect.
If I could find this house in Atlanta GA I'd buy it in a heartbeat!! Would definitely come back for future family functions.

Price was great. Pictures online were beautiful compared to in person. This house is very old. Kitchen was remodeled with nicer appliances. Bathrooms were freshly redecorated, but extremely small. Not suitable for helping young children in the bathrooms. We only had 2 showers available for 9 people. Kitchen supplies were pieced together. (2 cups of this, 2 cups of that). Furniture was old. Everything seemed like a hand-me-down. Thankfully, we were mainly there just to sleep. There was no accessories for the beach (towels, bikes, sand toys, boogie boards, sand wagon.) We will not be staying there again as it was not suitable for our family with younger children.
