About this apartment rental
It's no secret what this apartment's best feature is — once you head up to the rooftop terrace and gaze out over the pretty view of Venice's domes, campaniles and turrets, you'll be as smitten with the outside space as we are.
That being said, this home isn't just a one-trick pony. The interior's sloping, wooden-beamed ceilings are a nod to the city's long and illustrious history, but otherwise, the design is impeccably contemporary, with shiny tiling, a minimalist kitchen and transparent dining chairs all combining to great effect. The open-concept layout adds a real sense of space, too.
When you want to see some of the city's landmarks, you really don't have far to go. The Natural History Museum lies a minute's walk around the corner and the Ca' Pesaro International Gallery of Modern Art only rakes five minutes on foot to reach. If you want to check out Doge's Palace, that's only twenty minutes away, too.
Home truths:
*The apartment sits on the third floor of a building but the lift in the building will only take you to the second level, so it might not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility
*Due to the sloping ceilings, taller guests might have to watch their heads in places
*The bathtub is no longer in use
*Pets might be permitted, but only with prior approval from the host
*The washer and dryer are located in a communal ground floor laundry room and operated by coins
*The dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
*Upon arrival, a representative will meet you at the Vaporetto stop – water taxi point – and accompany you to the property where they’ll check you in, and provide any assistance you should need
