About this apartment rental

In a salmon-pink old palazzo, this lovely home is a real find. Relax with a glass of Prosecco on the southwest-facing altana, a typical Venetian rooftop terrace, and take in the views over the Venice’s rooftops. Inside, we love the high-vaulted, loft-style living space with its sun-bleached eau de nil and parched papyrus hues. Take a seat on the L-shaped sofa and plan your Venice itinerary. This home is in genteel San Samuele, dotted with galleries and antique shops. Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art and Campo Santo Stefano are both a three-minute stroll. St. Mark’s Square is nine minutes on foot, while Palazzo Mocenigo on the Grand Canal, once the Venetian bolthole of romantic poet and literary figure Lord Byron, is fifteen minutes. Or let your host arrange a tour around the lagoon in a skippered ‘bragozzetto’ boat. Home truths: *This home has a shared entrance, and it's on the third floor with no lift – something to bear in mind if you're a heavy packer or have limited mobility *Guest three would be on a sofa bed in the living room – if you're looking for a home with ample space for socialising, we'd recommend this home for two guests only *Rentals of over seven nights also include a weekly bed linen and towel change during your stay *If you're part of a larger group, your host offers two other apartments in this building (sleeping up to ten guests in total) *Upon arrival, a representative will meet you at the Vaporetto stop – water taxi point – and accompany you to the property where they’ll check you in, and provide any assistance you should need
