Was a little far from most places, Kamal beach was great and good shops close by. All in all was a good trip apart from

Lovely place, nice and clean. Loved the pool and gym. Shops and beach not to far away..

Power went out, not enough beds for the 5 of us as there was only 2 king beds. Air conditioner in lounge leaked water.. Security was very good but could not understand us. Nobody at the reception most of the time !

Nice for family stay, but far from beach and party area

House was too big, as per expectation, can stay more than 4-5 people easily. View from house is ok..not good not bad... Supermarket is near, so can buy thing easily. Kitchen appliances was good enough to cook anything. Overall satisfied.

Room cleaning was done only once before arrival, bath tab was leaking. Early morning hard to get taxi, so better pre-booked if you have early morning flight. I waited around 45 min to get taxi at 05:00AM.

Poor for the amount we spent as couldn’t even get running water.

the location was nice and had a nice pool and view.

The hosts were not helpful, the water stopped working and they didn’t do anything to fix the problem, nor did they check in to see if the water problem was fixed. the water stopped working so we couldn’t flush the toilet, use the sink not shower and we were told to use an unlocked room which had someone else’s dirty clothes over the floor. The toilets in the fitness suite were unclean. the staff were not helpful and didn’t even offer a a refund or partial refund due to the water not working and were not very nice about it. wouldn’t stay here as not worth the hassle.

Disappointing

The place I stayed in was not the same as the photos. There was no kitchen, just a hot plate. The only sink was the one in the bathroom and it didn't work, the pipe was broken so it just sprayed water all over the place. When I told the host they did nothing about it. Finally, the whole apartment was full of bugs.

Ikon apartment

Easy to contact hosts, location wasn’t too far from main areas with scooter. Room itself isn’t a bad room.

The first room we got given the front door didn’t lock, the safe didn’t work neither did the aircon and there was an overbearing smell of dampness / mould. I messaged the owner and they changed rooms for us the second room seemed as though it hadn’t been cleaned in the bathroom and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. I requested a cancellation as well as messaged on WhatsApp, I didn’t realise that the two platforms didn’t communicate and they requested me to pay more money when the cancellation went through but I didn’t receive a refund and I had prepaid but I think it has been sorted??? Communication could be better.
