Welcome to Renaissance Lodge!
Renaissance Lodge, a magnificent home located in Blowing Rock, is over 7,300 square feet - ample space to accommodate up to 29 guests. There are 7 sleeping areas and 7 bathrooms in this 3-level home, conveniently located close to all the activities and attractions the High Country has to offer. A Blue Ridge Parkway entrance just 2 miles from the cabin offers multiple hiking options at Julian Price Memorial Park, Moses Cone Memorial Park, and many other stops along the parkway. Grandfather Mountain State Park and the famous Profile trails are just 30 minutes away. Tweetsie Railroad Theme Park is a quick 6-minute drive. You can see Tweetsie's Holiday fireworks display at eye level from the spacious decks at Renaissance Lodge. Appalachian Ski Resort is a fun destination in any season, just a 2-minute drive up the road. The long-range mountain views and inspiring sunrises are breathtaking from the cabin.
This lodge boasts two living areas, two kitchens, two gas grills, one on each of the two spacious decks, and a hot tub. A second entry into a mud room includes a ski rack for storing winter snow gear. An elevator to all three floors makes getting luggage to and from each level easy. A pool table, ping-pong table, and an arcade game provide fun for the whole group.
The main level features a living room with leather couches, a stacked-stone gas log fireplace, and a large, mounted flat-screen TV. The living room flows into the well-stocked main-level kitchen. The dining table seats 6, and on the other side of the kitchen, the breakfast table seats 8. Including the three bar stools at the kitchen bar, there is seating for 17 on the main level. The covered main level deck has two picnic tables, a gas grill, and wooden Adirondack chairs to enjoy the long-range view. The second entrance is to the left of the main level, a spacious mudroom with a ski gear rack for winter gear. Beyond the mudroom is an enclosed porch surrounded by windows. This porch has a ping pong table, mini fridge, TV, and deck access. Above the ping pong room is a sleeping loft with two twin-size beds. This space has wall-mounted heaters.
There are three bedrooms on the main level. They include a spacious king suite with a stacked-stone electric fireplace, TV, and ensuite bathroom. There is a large windowed walk-in closet in this main-floor master suite with a Pack-and-Play. It is large enough to use as a sleeping nook for small children. Guests in the king suite can access the deck with wooden seating, a perfect place for morning coffee. The second king suite on the main level also has an ensuite bathroom and TV. The third main level bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and a hallway bathroom next door.
The upper level features the master suite. This king suite is expansive and luxurious. The king bed sits on an elevated platform with sunrise views. The suite includes a generous ensuite bathroom, a lounging area with a fireplace and TV, a kitchenette, and a quiet workplace desk. The spacious walk-in closet in the master suite can also double as a baby sleeping nook.
Additionally, there is a bunk room with a twin-over-full and twin-over-twin bunk and a bedroom with two queen beds. These rooms also have a convertible bean bag bed, making two other sleeping options for kids. A large closet upstairs holds 4 twin rollouts. The house has plenty of space for these beds, and the elevator makes them easy to move. The bunk room and the queen bedroom share a full bathroom.
Downstairs is an impressive second living room, a second full kitchen, and a large dining table with seating for 14, plus 3 more at the kitchen bar. The lower level has a pool table, a Mrs. Pac-Man 10-in-1 arcade game, and an NBA Jam four-player arcade game. The lower-level deck is home to the hot tub and wood-burning outdoor fireplace. It has two porch swings and more wooden Adirondack chairs and benches. With the backdrop of long-range mountain views, this deck is enjoyable year-round. The lower-level king suite includes an ensuite bathroom, deck access, and a TV. The two sofas downstairs are full-size sofa beds for two additional sleeping places. There is a full hallway bathroom.
Family reunions, friends gatherings, and large party holiday groups will enjoy all that comes with a stay at Renaissance Lodge. There is plenty of space to gather together or find a quiet spot for work or pleasure. The home has high-speed internet and mesh routers placed throughout to give a strong signal anywhere, supporting multiple device use. Two washer and dryer sets make laundry or drying winter gear a breeze for large groups. The level gravel driveway and timber-framed porte-cochère make loading and unloading convenient. There is ample parking space for 6 cars. Pets are not allowed at Renaissance Lodge.

There were 28 of us ranging from 2 months to 72! House was awesome and met all our needs. Great location! We had a ping pong tournament, corn hole tournament in parking area, and attended the App State women’s soccer game in Boone. Sight seeing in the nearby area. Something for everybody!

Great. The only surprise was the loft area - the stairs leading to this area would preclude the oldest and youngest from our group from using this area
