House was close to RTJ Trail courses. Clean and cozy. I would stay here again.

Our family stayed here for a weekend long track meet at the Crossplex. Excellent, quiet location. Very easy to get anywhere we needed to go. The house is older with all of the unique charm that comes with an older home. It was extremely clean and had very comfy mattresses. Communication with the hosts was fantastic.

Established neighbor home with a huge fenced yard. The home is clean and tidy with tastefully remodeled bathrooms and kitchen areas. Being a pet owner it was wonderful to find the perfect place where they could stay, run and play. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a great day in the Birmingham area.

Darling Farmhouse was perfect for our family of 4 adults, an 8 month old, and dogs. The fenced backyard was more like a park! The parking was perfect! And, the hosts' hospitality were exceptionally wonderful!
Thank you!
I hope we can stay at the Darling Farmhouse again! KT

The location was very convenient for us. We were in town for a wedding downtown, so the quick access to I-65 was great. Plenty of room for us to spread out.

We rented this home for a Bama football weekend. Great location and very convenient to interstate for GameDay travel. Great communication with the owner.

My husband and I are from Birmingham and stayed here for an extended weekend. The location is perfect for those needing quick access to the interstate, shopping and great restaurants. The backyard was perfect for our pups who need lots of exercise! The house is well equipped and the owners checked in several times to make sure our stay was going well. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in town.

The house was perfect for what we needed. There were a few concerns when we arrived but the owner jumped right on it and was back the next day to full fill a few more requests. Great guy! Nice neighborhood within minutes from the fields, restaurants and grocery stores. Almost all VRBO's around the area did not allow guests over but the owners and neighbors were great about us having the team over for dinner on evening. If ever back in Hoover we would stay at the property again.

This house was wonderful for my sister, 77 year old Mother and myself. It is an older home with many updates. Located of the busy highway in a nice neighborhood and you didn't hear any traffic noise. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

This property is in a safe neighborhood and has a huge fenced in backyard. Great if you are traveling with pets. The sun room works well for getting dogs in and out, etc.

This rental was disappointing and not really reflective of the pictures on the posting. The house was tidy, but didn’t feel clean. It is an old house and had that musty old house smell. It appears they are making updates to the place and it has great potential once the remodeling is done. It looks like a DIY job, not very professional looking.. The finishes, like outlet and switch covers don’t fully cover, paint on the floor, the kitchen cabinets were spray painted blue and there are drips. However, the master bath was nicely updated and the bed very comfortable. The bedroom off the sunroom was not a room I’d feel comfortable sleeping in. It was probably a garage at one time and it didn’t have a good feel to it. The sunroom was dirty and had bugs flying around. Unusable for sitting in. The backyard needs to be cleaned up. There was a lot of junk, trash in the little covered area. The detached garage was the same and didn’t have a side door so dogs had to be supervised. Also, the fence gate sits high enough the dogs could get under it, so again they had to be supervised.. The string lights were missing half the bulbs.
Other than an auto generated email thanking us for the reservation and instructions on checking and check out, there was zero contact with homeowners . I messaged them twice with no reply.

The house was cute, quiet neighborhood and a great location to all we wanted to do. My only issues were that there were eight of us so we needed all of the beds, including the pullout and daybed that were listed as available beds, but the linens for these were difficult to locate and there were no extra blankets. Also, we could not find enough coffee cups and silverware for eight people. We had to eat grits with a slotted serving spoon. We also ran out of trash bags and toilet paper. If the house advertises that it sleeps eight, then I feel like it should be prepared for eight people to stay there. Otherwise, we had a great time, and we made it all work.

Had the opportunity to stay for a couple of days. It is conveniently located, with easy access to I-65. Yard is so spacious and we really enjoyed the extras outdoor amenities that were available—so much fun! Lots of beds and owners are very responsive.

We had a wonderful time. Hosts were very attentive and we felt like we were in good hands. The house just needed to be completed even though it had all the necessities. The fireplace was a very nice touch. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

This home worked out well for us. It is a bit older and had some cold spots, but the heat worked well and warmed the house quickly. With 3 bedrooms plus a place in the living area with a daybed we all had a space of our own. The were many windows in this home making it very light which was wonderful. Having room darkening curtains made sleeping late possible even with all the windows! Even though it was cold in Birmingham while we were there, we still made use of the yard which was huge, using the frisbee and cornhole games that were on the property. If it had not been so cold we would have spent a lot more time outside. The owners were quick to respond to all questions, and requests. According to the owner, renovations are scheduled in the next few weeks and I expect will make this home even better. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was large with a connected dinette that had windows on three sides. Keypad to get in made coming and going easy and having outdoor lights that automatically came on when we drove up was very nice.

We really enjoyed staying at this sweet home! We had a conference at a nearby church and four of us stayed at the house. Good bathrooms and living rooms. Very cozy. Very easy to get in and out; plus two driveways made it easier!

Nice neighborhood and very roomy house.

This property has had quite a bit of remodeling and is nice for families. The beds are super comfortable and the linens and towels are very high quality. The bonus sunroom that looks out over the beautiful backyard is really nice. The kitchen and master bedroom & bath are nicely updated, and the kitchen appliances are newer stainless steel.
This house has a lot of potential and when all the finishing touches are added, it will be even better . We enjoyed our stay here very much and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We would recommend this property for any family looking for a relaxing place to stay.
