Lovely Remodeled Historic Carriage House apartment with loft on the Rosedell Estate. 2 bedrooms, plus 1 loft bedroom with washer and dryer, 1 double pull out sofa in the living room. Fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom and beautiful grounds. Historic, walkable neighborhood, 2 blocks from Franklin Park, public pool, Yakima Museum and Soda Shop. Very close to downtown. Great place to stay while visiting local wineries!

This is a beautiful and interesting place to stay. The grounds are gorgeous and the property is quiet and peaceful. Fast wifi suitable for videoconferencing. Stairs are step, so might not be the best place for those with mobility challenges. We’d love to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Carraige House. Once up the steep staircase you are presented with a very well set up place. Kitchen was well stocked for easy home cooking. I always like it when basics of cooking is availble such as oil, salt&pepper and herbs. Felt at home here. Beautiful garden also to sit in.

We stayed in this rental over a weekend with our 2 young kids. We found it to have a suprising amount of amenities, beautifully decorated, with friendly hosts and a great location. 10/10 would stay here again.

This place is located in the heart of old Yakima with amazing homes to see and park near by. The Cottage House is very nice, has a stairway at the entrance that leads up to a home with modern amenities including a heated bathroom floor (very nice!).

The Carriage House went well above our expectations. Our host was quick to respond and check-in was very easy. The two bedrooms and the loft were spacious but cozy with fresh and comfy linens. The kitchen had everything you need including some common spices and oil for cooking. There were plenty of yummy coffee options (Starbucks & Kirkland), including decaf, and creamers. The house boasts fun, artistic lighting and other rustic touches to showcase its history. We also appreciated the cozy, heated bathroom floor! The location was great as it is near downtown Yakima restaurants and within ten-to-fifteen minutes of some great wineries. I would caution those with mobility concerns as there is a very long and steep set of stairs to navigate from the entrance to to the main part of the house. I would return for another stay and would highly recommend to friends and family coming to visit the Yakima area.

We absolutely loved the property and home. After reading some of the reviews, we learned of the "History" book. This had some amazing information about the original family and history of Yakima itself. I would not hesitate to book this home again and most definitely refer friends. Thank you for having us! It was a beautiful remodeled house that I cannot say enough great things. Comfortable, warm and welcoming...ohhh the grounds were immaculate. My only complaint...I couldn't sneak into the main house and be nosey...the history of the estate really is interesting. Thank you for a wonderful stay Anna

My sisters and I do an annual sisters weekend getaway and we booked this cute and cozy place in Yakima. It is an old carriage house that has been updated and remodeled and has three bedrooms and one bath and a great kitchen. It had air-conditioning, which was awesome since it was so hot out that weekend. The tile floors in the bathroom are heated, which was amazing. It was in a great location to all the things we wanted to do. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable for exercise in the mornings. We will definitely stay here again if we stay in Yakima again. Easy check in & check out process.

What a terrific place AND location. This home had everything we needed and so much more. A beautiful and peaceful location! The city is close and some great restaurants are in walking distance. Other than the staircase to the home, I would rate this location a 10. Not that there is anything wrong with the stairs, only that you should consider this if it means anything to you.

Seriously one of the cutest places we’ve stayed. We stayed with another couple and it was the perfect size. The remodeling of this place was so well done! It was cool to learn a little history about the place as well. Overall, we had an amazing stay.

The Carriage house was great. The property was nice a quiet. It’s well stocked and very clean. There are some steep stairs you have to climb on the way in but other than that it was one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in.

Definitely staying here again for future visits to Yakima - the house is lovely, we loved the views from the windows and enjoyed trying out cafe 11th avenue for breakfast (walking distance). Owner was great about checking in with us and anticipating our needs.

This VRBO was a dream as we pulled up to an incredible property. The stay was so comfortable from the heated flooring to the beds. We were in love with the details. I love this property! The decor is gorgeous, cozy, trendy and warm. The kitchen was well stocked, even with decaf k-cups (thank you!). I LOVED the decor, original hardwood floors, heated tile and color scheme. It was so restful. Thank you for including the history of the property. Rosedell and it’s adorable carriage house were the perfect getaway for two adult couples and we even had a vacant bedroom. The only drawback would be the single bathroom if you sleep 6. Territorial views out the windows were a beautiful start to the day. Please note: the steep stairs to the main floor would be difficult for those with mobility challenges. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The hosts for this cute old carriage house were incredibly accommodating. They allowed us flexibility on check in and they noticed we had a baby and provided access to child gates. It’s well appointed and nicely modernized with old touches of its past life. This place has a 48A/240V EV charger which made our stay much more convenient while traveling around the Yakima Valley. One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed in, thanks!
