The Villas were cute and very tidy. We loved it. We had access to the pool and the town ship wasn't to far to walk.
Definitely recommend.

The air cond and the pool
Received a rather blunt email on my return - not the usual I get. I spend about 8 weeks a year in Raro and have never had an email upon my return like this. We usually do stay in better places but recently having lost my son to cancer I did not want to return to one of these with memories.
But the response from the guy when I asked about the TV - of that I had a TV, so why was I complaining, then the bathroom door that jammed when you closed it, thank goodness one of the other residents heard me yelling or I could have been there for a long time, the roof that leaked when it rained, the towel rail on the back of the bathroom door that continually fell off, the dogs barking at the kids at midnight when they jumped in the pool, the washing machine that beeped all night when others left it going - It all makes for a comical travel blog. People couldn't stop laughing when we shared our experience. Yes I could have gone somewhere else as the host suggested, and maybe I should have, but it has supplied so many laughs when I have shared and the welcome home email is the icing on the cake.

The bikes weren’t well maintained, squeaky and out dated.

Adequate kitchenette and cleanliness on the property grounds.
Noisy neighborhood houses with loud rap "music" until late night during weekends and holidays.

The pool, studio facilities, AC, shower pressure, immaculately clean unit and outside area! Hosts were lovely and easy to communicate with 😊
Location not really walking distance from town and road a lil sketchy for walking/biking (watch out for the cows lol)

Nice and quite, close to town centre, if you have a vehicle or scooter. Clean and tidy Villa. Nice place to relax. Free washing facility. Aircon. Pool. Enjoyed my stay. Lock box acess to retrieve keys for the villa.
Would like to see a blind installed over kitchen window for more privacy (stayed in villa 5). Very limited TV reception, only one TV channel.

Loved how quite it was, hardly heard roosters. The accommodation is well worth the money. It had everything we needed. Rose was amazing, so friendly, and very accommodating with our late request to check out at 1pm.

The location was perfect. We rented 4 of the 5 villas , fortunately we had no other guest during our stay. We had all the privacy we could ask for. Thank you to our host Rose. You made every communication effortless. Our requests never felt like a burden. The groundsman was excellent Metaki Maata
Although we had a washing machine and washed our towels etc it would have been great to have fresh sheets. No housekeeping during our 6 day stay.

The bungalows were very very cute.
The pool area was amazing. Lush green feild and a huge pool and BBQ area. I didn't see much of the staff (they're self contained, so I'm not taking issue with that) but when I did they were always taking beautiful care of the grounds.
Washing facilities were great.
Place had everything you needed and nothing you didn't
The balconies were great and cool.
I can imagine a family/reunion/friends booking out all these bungalow and having an absolutely fabulous time.
It was a little far from the main road. 20 to 30 minutes walking and I chose not to purchase transport. It's a really lovely spot but I'd recommend having a car or scooter. Was a great way to keep fit tho!
I think maybe some thicker tyres for the bikes would be good if possible as I think I was riding a flat tyre at one point.

Clear instructions most helpful. Each unit has a beautiful vista , access to pool great for lengths and a good depth. Verandah good size for evenings and drying clothes. Tidy woodwork colourful spreads and convenient sitting room shower WC area. Good ventilation and window design and effective aircon to use occasionally at hottest times. BIcycles available but not advertised, could be a selling point.
Would help to have a Vodafone hotspot closer or stronger signal as weak at Red Hibiscus in comparison to Airport barely one kilometer away across the tarmac. Neither Cook Island Radio nor television available despite the mention of TV twice in the advertising. Not that we wanted to watch much of the time. It would permit opportunity to hear Cook Island news
music, if available. Worth the host checking out. Bicycles available but not advertised. We hired ( and cycled around the Island explored valleys too. ) Ergonomics of kitchen could be slightly improved looking at the direction the fridge door opens, Otherwise excellent design with well equipped kitchen.
