The house was in the downtown area but it was not the safest looking area with all of the vacant and rundown houses.

The home was immaculate. Absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood was sketchy. No problems encountered but i wouldn't have stayed with a male with me. This is truly a hidden gem. Please do not judge the book by its cover. Great communication with the homeowner.

After getting bumped from another property I chose this one based on the amount of privacy with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The inside was clean, tastefully done and accurately portrayed by the pictures. We were surprised by the neighborhood it was in. It wasn’t dangerous but the buildings across the street and near by were run down. We were busy all weekend with wedding events so the inside was all we were concerned with. One day a large tree fell on the power line knocking out power for two neighborhood. We were about to leave for the wedding rehearsal so we made some calls to the power company and the property manager and power was restored within about 5 hours. Over all, good stay.

The property itself was not a problem, although it listed a 2 car garage that didn’t exist. The problem was the location that appears to be in “the hood”. There were abandoned and boarded up homes all around this property. To park under the carport you had to come through the alley behind the property, which was strewn with trash and debris. Quite frankly, I’m surprised you have this property in your portfolio - if you’ve never seen it, I can send you photos of the surrounding area. If you HAVE seen it, shame on you for not disclosing more about the neighborhood.

We were in Birmingham to visit our daughter who is a student at UAB. We had two sets of grandparents and they don’t navigate stairs well, so this home suited them perfectly. It was comfortable and clean. And a great place for us all to gather for a meal or just to chat and catch up. It’s in a neighborhood not in an urban area, so there’s nothing around that’s walkable. We had groceries delivered so we could have snacks and breakfasts there. But had to drive to go anywhere. It’s a short drive to the college and there are plenty of places for an eclectic meal. We had some issues with the automatic lock when we first arrived after midnight. I didn’t expect to have someone meet us, and we did have a little trouble getting someone on the phone that knew about the keyless entry. But once we reached the right person it was all fixed. And we didn’t have any other problems with our stay..
