So welcoming and friendly. The place is well located a very short walk from the station and spotlessly clean. There is a kitchen for drinks and so you can make your own meals. Very comfortable rooms. I would definitely recommend.

Was fortunate to speak with a friendly person who was a cleaner at this hotel who was helpful as i had experienced the previous year. Unfortunately i didn't sleep well there due to disturbed night's of hotel guest's running up and down the stairs which in the small hrs .

Liliana welcomed us with warm enthusiasm! She helped us to the third floor (!) with the luggage and made sure we were comfortable with the room. When they warn you about the ceiling height of the attic rooms, pay attention! I knew the warnings, but liked the idea of the attic. My husband who is over six feet tall was not as happy with the room. I giggled with each bonk of his head on the ceiling. Despite his minor injuries, we both loved the location and room, and we are still married! Liliana is an effervescent, lovely hostess who is generous with sharing her knowledge of the city and area. She was also kind enough to wash a load of laundry for us! We enjoyed the central location and quiet neighborhood. It was a wonderful stay!

What really made this hotel great was the employee Liliana. She was unbelievably friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice but nothing special. Liliana gave great recommendations of things to see and do. I checked out the first two on her list and ended up just trusting her after that and wasn't disappointed. It is very central to the historic and shopping district. I would definitely stay here again if I return.

Liliana at the front desk is an amazing person and very friendly. She makes the difference!! Rooms are small, bathrooms also. No free parking near and the hotel is in the old city, not accessible by car. Liliana show us a place to park the car for free but @15 minutes walking from hotel. Main attractions in the city is on a walk distance from the hotel.

It was quite good. The room was very small but clean and well thought out.

It is functional but very very small
You share a small kitchen with all other rooms
Better parking indications would be a plus

I thoroughly enjoyed my four nights a Coimbra city charm. Sophia who work there is very special and very helpful. I enjoyed the coffee as well as the use of the kitchen. The location was also quite good being not far from either the train station or the bus station or the sites to see in Coimbra. There was also good Wi-Fi and TV services.

Tiny but has everything you need. Lots of store’s & restaurants close by. Had a shared little fridge & micro & coffee bar on each floor. Keyless entree to the building & your room. We walked to the meeting point near the bridge for our free student tour which was excellent. This room was a great find!

The room was extremely small. No place to set out suitcase. Hostess was great. Very helpful with suggestions.

Great place to stay. They let us do early checkin as room was available. Staff shared tips about Coimbra. Coffee and tea available.

Nice place, small room, no elevator.

Coimbra City Charm is anything but charming. While the location is convenient, the bathroom smelled so strongly of moldy sewage that we could hardly use it. Even after closing the door, turning on the fan, opening our tiny roof window, and plugging the bottom bathroom door with a towel, the smell still invaded the room. It was truly unbearable. The walls were also so thin we could hear our neighbor snoring and are now concerned about his sleep apnea. I do not recommend this place unless you truly have no other options.

Easy, contactless check-in using codes. Very small room but comfortable bed and good shower. Common area with a fridge, coffee and tea. Very Central, close to everything, and quiet area.

I absolutely loved this guest house. I was looking for an affordable, but clean and comfortable hotel in downtown area and this guesthouse was perfect. I got everything i needed at a great price.
Liliana the front desk host was the sweetest and most helpful person. When i come back to Coimbra, I will book at this hotel again.

Very central and convenient. The single room is quite small but as I spent most of my waking time outside with tours and such, it was fine for me. Bed was comfortable and there was a continuous stream of 80’s action movies to watch to put me to sleep. The kitchen was also a bonus and allowed me to buy outside items and have them close by when needed.

Everything. It was great.

Modest, unassuming, looks recently renovated, actually everything looks brand new. The rooms are small but funcional for a night or two, free water and coffee and the best part was the hospitality, big smiles and such kindness and attention. Lovely.

Thanks to Liliana and Hugo, I found a very nice place to stay (also for many days), visiting Coimbra and Portugal. Everything was very good. I’ve been in many places in a long time, and this is one of the few I could consider the very best!! So see you again…

One block from Coimbra train station, in old town. Great location, everything is close. The place is super clean and staff are super friendly.
