When we arrived at the hotel it was locked up. According to a local cashier at a gas station they were no longer in business.

Nice big room, quiet

This is a small hotel with no overnight attendant, they check you in and that's it. This is also an older building so don't expect all modern conveniences.
The Sauna was nice.

This place is so cute! We want to come back again!

Kind of weird that you have to pay $25/hr to come early - especially when no one was there. Also a bit of a problem that some homeless guys spend the day in front of the place (wouldn't want to use the sauna which is outside). But the location is fantastic. Room 5 is on the 2nd floor and it has a balcony with view of the lake - great spot. Reserved parking spots are extremely helpful - since we couldn't get in early, we parked in the reserved spot and walked to a museum. Endion is connected with Fitgers which is a short walk - two coupons for a free beer came with the room which was nice since we walked there for dinner. A bit of a problem with loud tailpipe and thumping stereo but it didn't keep me up. Overall a great place.

I am not a fan of a memory foam mattress. However room was clean and very nice. Good location near the lake.

The property was great! Love the charm of the place. Very quiet and cozy. Would stay there again!

This historic train station is wonderfully designed for lodging. Location is incredible, close to the beach. Great access to the freeway and downtown. You need to be flexible with the historical quirks. Everyone else staying there had stayed multiple times!

Very cute and charming little place. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future.

Outside noise from people walking by, especially at night.

Our room had a beautiful view overlooking Lake Superior. The hotel has a wonderful patio with lots of tables and chairs and a fireplace. We had everything we needed in the room. It is a cozy and comfortable space so fitting for the location. We parked our car and was able to walk most everywhere we wanted to go. We would stay again if ever back in that area.

Loved the historic building and enjoyed being so close to the boardwalk and Canal Park. Unfortunately there was a group of shady characters that were drinking, yelling obscenities and using a slingshot just feet away from our room. As a result we did not feel safe using the back patio/yard which was a huge draw for us when selecting the property

Great location for visiting Canal Park! Comfortable room. Sofa bed used by my grown daughters was uncomfortable.

Everything was great except there was no lighter to use the outdoor fireplace. Would have been nice. To enjoy it and the view. Too cool to sit outside without a fire.

The room was uniquely
decorated and current furnishings. Ot was nice and quiet. The sauna, games , patio and gas fireplace were great. The location was rught at the end of Canal Pkwy. It was a quick walk to restaurants and lighthouse. It will be my go to Canal Pkwy stay from now on

When your room is at 63 degrees on a 79 degree day in Duluth Minnesota it definitely is an indicator that we have issues. The air recycling unit was stuck on. The AC (that was not working the week before) was now only blowing cold air and could not be turned off. The heat was turned on by maintenance guy but he also had to turn Boiler on.He brought a space heater from another hotel to heat HEAT our room to compensate for the out of control AC. The bed, described as Queen size is a twin at best. No headboard on bed therefore the pillows fall off bed and onto window sill. We thought this would be a quaint no frills stay in canal park. Well it definitely was no frills, but the added issues made it so bad that we packed up at 10:30PM and drove home. so, so disappointed.

We love Endion Station, we have stayed multiple times and really enjoy the convenience to everything we like to visit.

Sadly we spent more time trying to email and text with offsite staff, figure out the coded locks (both the one on the front door and the one one the room door are touchy), talk with Maintenance about the noisy, difficult-to-use in-room heater, and negotiate the steep, narrow stairs than we did enjoying Duluth. We were awakened at midnight by truck and traffic noise as well as someone rattling the front door as if trying to get in. When asked about a partial refund, management offered a 15 percent discount on a future stay(no thanks!) There were good things about our visit such as the location, view and beautiful old building but they were tough to appreciate with all the challenges. I hope management can rectify these things for future visitors.

I expected more out of this hotel. Room was just ok. Garbage was still in the bin in the room from previous guests. I checked in with no problem since I got the email with instructions a week prior. Need it to enter with all codes on the door as no one at the property. I called next morning to complain about not draining sink. No fix for 3 days I stayed. I had to come up with my own solution. Area is great to walk around.

Great location for seeing the sights of Duluth. Shopping restaurants and Lake Superior right out the door. Was nice to not be in the hustle and bustle of a regular hotel after some very busy days. Highly recommend a stay here.

This is a unique place to stay that is a refurbished train station. It is in a very convenient area, which is right next to the lake and accessible to everything in Canal Park as well as close to downtown. Included in our stay were a few coupons for a free beer at one of a few nearby places, which was very nice. Although they have a virtual front desk, they are responsive to issues via phone and texting.

Great place and the location can't be beat. The room was spotless, I loved the nespresso machine, the bed was super comfortable and it was nice to be able to sit outside and relax on the patio. It was however, a little weird to wake up Saturday morning to a yoga class going on right outside our window. I suggest definitely bringing an eyemask as the blinds do NOT shut out the light. I also wish the rooms had some cutlery and more glasses. The nightly texts reminding us of quiet time also felt a bit instrusive. All in all, however, it was a great place to stay.

We just stayed in Room #2 from July 2-4th 2023. I honestly do not have enough wonderful things to say about our experience.
The location is perfect. It's directly beside canal park lodge, right on the boardwalk area.you can park your vehicle in your assigned parking spot with us fabulous and never drive the entire stay if you like. Everything you need is definitely in walking distance. There are a few things you should know before booking. Room #1 faces the outdoor firepit. Room #1 use the same entrance. Rooms #3,#4,#5 use the other entrance. Everything is key coded so make sure you write it down somewhere. There is a barrel sauna on the deck. It works fabulous, takes a bit to heat up but we used it every day. There's cornhole to play on the deck as well as multiple sitting areas. This is a very old building full of charm and character and one thing that comes with old buildings is noise. There's a noise restriction at 10pm and you literally have to whisper if you're out at the firepit later than that. Your voices will carry and Room #1 has their windows facing it. This is the same with the cornhole game. It's loud. You can hear the bean bags hitting the deck outside your window or hitting the target. These things did not bother us at all. We expected the noise and I think if you're staying in canal park you should expect noise. I would not recommend staying here if you have small children and are worried about them sleeping. Especially on the 4tn of July weekend.

Really awesome little stay in Duluth, MN - it is a perfect stay for 1-2 people and close to everything in Canal Park. The property managers are readily available via text and very friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Loved the price, location and quaintness of the Endion Station.
Attention to housekeeping could be improved and privacy/darkening blinds in some rooms needed. Would definitely stay here again.
