The hotel was clean and check in was quick and efficient. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were the size of apartments And it is definitely worth the price that you get versus staying in a regular hotel room. If you have kids or a family I would definitely recommend staying here, as you get double the room size and room for the kids to run around.

It was best place to stay
And clean too

Unit its self was nice …. Besides no clean dishes , dishwasher full of dirty dishes. However one night was woken up to people fighting outside of our room, next night followed by people pounding on our door and then about ten shots being fired . I would not stay here again.

Super amazing small hotel. Feels more like home than it does a hotel. Kelly and Ashley are phenomenal. Take good care of them and they will take great care of you. Please be kind to them and clean up your room and whatnot as they are good people.

The property is in a great location close to Washburn University.

Terrible experience!

Our apartment on the 3rd floor was very spacious and properly equipped, with a nice view across the intersection to the university. It included an oven and pots for the stovetop. We thought having the washer and dryer in the walk-in closet was a nice design choice. The decorating scheme included lots of white, so you could tell that the apartment was pretty clean, even though the furniture wasn't brand new. Note that there is no elevator, so only the 1st floor apartments would be accessible choices. The parking lot gets busy with university students while the coffee shop is open, but empties out after closing time.

Check in is smooth.
Room is not very clean. One of the tub is clogged. Sink is missing stopper. Living room carpet has a big stain near patio door. Breakfast counter has a few spots that are sticky.
Our room is on 3rd floor. We can hear people talking and party in the parking lot until 1 AM. We don’t feel safe.
Whoever made towels into bear did a great job.

This is a superb hotel. We had a three-bedroom, and it was great. Since we have family in Topeka, we will use this hotel again.

On average, this property is most likely corporate owned so they don't fix the big things but I can say the staff are Rockstars.
The manager is awesome, even working on a holiday, and whomever made the washcloths into a heart and a teddy bear should be congratulated.
The place is clean and safe. I'd stay there again.

We got charged, but never got to stay. We couldn't get into the hotel or get in touch with them by phone. We got ripped off basically. What a mess it put us in . Expedia, please take this place off your list for booking.

There is no elevator and it was not mentioned. It was also not mentioned that if you need wheelchair/handicap room you have to request when you book. The room we were to have was not available so they gave us an upgrade free of charge on the first floor. Staff was not trained so we got charged the difference for the upgraded room. Luckily, I make sure there are blocks to extra charges but it tried to charge every night. At first the manager was very defensive when we brought up the issue but she realized it was a training issue and apologized.
Overall, nice apartments. Plenty of room. Quiet for the most part. Good location.

Great location and proximity to Washburn University. The overall property was in decent condition. Good overall value.

I chose this place because it was cheap and I got what I paid for. My room smelled like a smoker had been there and I couldn't get comfortable with the lingering smell soaked into the carpet. My shower was clogged too, and overall the place didn't feel secure or safe.

I felt fortunate to happen upon this hotel that was actually a 3 bedroom apartment. Had a full kitchen so we were able to refreeze our ice and cook supper. Adults got to sleep in our own beds. Grocery store is less than 2 miles away and there is a coffee shop next door. We had a great stay.

The sheets had not been washed, yellow stains on them with hair and I got bed beds just from sitting on the chair, the owner told me that I "planted" the dirty sheet after she acknowledged it was dirty, in order to get a refund which I have not gotten, and said she would never take responsibility for that. She raised her voice at me and didn't believe anything I was telling her. She walked away from me and that was all.

We were in Topeka for a wedding and this place was a delightful surprise! The apartment was much larger than expected with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a decent kitchen open to the living room, a desk and a dining table. I don’t know my way around Topeka but we seemed to be pretty centrally located and never had to drive more than 10-15 minutes to get where we wanted to go. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean and spacious two bedroom, two bathroom suite accomodated our family needs perfectly for two nights. It also had a full kitchen and washer/dryer for stays of longer duration. Located right next to Washburn University. The cafe in the bottom of the building had friendly service and a great breakfast. The bedroom closest to the street had some street noise, but pretty quiet through most of the night.

Great place. Would stay here again 100%. Loved the feel of home while traveling. All basic necessities there and easy to find. Only thing is lots of light still gets through the blinds in the bedrooms in the evening, so if you are a sleeper that needs the dark, may need to find a way to darken room. TV's are Roku's, so can log into your streaming accounts or watch free Pluto TV. TV in each room though! Loved the porches too and little coffee shop attached.

It’s an older low end motel but well kept. Would stay again!

Loved it. Had everything we needed to fill right at home. Fully furnished with full kitchen and washer and dryer. Nice balcony. TV’s are huge. Pictures don’t do this place justice. Our room was way nicer than the pictures even portrayed. Definitely recommend!!! Oh yeah and pricing is very reasonable. I will for sure be using this place on my next trip to Topeka…

Great place, wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Only downfall was no elevator

The apartments are near a very busy intersection so you have to deal with a lot of road noise. The rooms are generally in good condition but spaces above your head and below your knees apparently are not routinely cleaned. This includes door frames, ceiling fans and baseboards.
We arrived about 10 minutes before check in and I had to call around to find the desk clerk. She scolded me for showing up early though we would have waited for our room. Instead she put us in another room and had to re-enter our reservation. Minor deal but a tense start to our stay.

Place was exceptionally dirty with crumbs and other debris in the carpet, dirty countertops in sink, and a rough smell of smoke. A recent guest smoked in there because I saw butts near the bed (pictures taken)

We didn’t get to check, there was nobody there and the number we were told to call, nobody picked, we had to go book another hotel after trying to establish communication and not succeeding.

Great location but the tv options are not local tv stations

I like the apartment style but my room was at the intersection of a very noisy street with thin windows that did not reduce the sound.

Great space, great price. The unit did not have hot water. We showered in another unit. They did bring maintenance in and did fix it.
The carpet had carpet tacks sticking up outside the bathroom.

Was very comfortable and nice

This was a perfect property for me. We produced an event at the Expo and this was close, clean and spacious. It’s so nice to have a kitchen and laundry, because we spend a lot of time on the road. We will definitely book again. If you are light sleeper the street noise might bother you a little, but this was not an issue for our crew.

Easy check in and great stay. We got two rooms and both were comfortable, clean, and well equipped.

Nice apartment in a sketchy area. The blinds were damaged, no toilet paper holder and our bathroom door doesn't close. It's new but needs some love. This is a bad location.

We stayed 3 nights in a 2 bedroom unit. This suite is roomy and practical for a family stay. The kitchen has very basic supplies; a Keurig machine, oven, microway dishwasher, in-unit laundry, dishes, silverware, glasses, cups and a knife. No small appliances such as a blender, no potholders or dishtowels. But aside from those minor details, the unit and the stay was perfect for us. There is a cafe' onsite. They serve breakfast & coffees at 7am and lunch & drinks (including beer) during the day; prices are reasonable. The food and drinks are really good! We would definitely stay here again.
