The location is cool its just very far unless you're headed to the airport or work in the local area . It also floods pretty bad in the area but it's a nice place.

Door code was not working my first day, worst bunk bed i’ve sleeped in because it was moving a lot, temperature was very cold and they give my only a thin blanket, floor of the bathroom was covered with the same wet towel for four days, bathroom was also dirty and there was strange smells in the house. Sorry about the bad review, I hate doing that but if it can help futur visitor having a better experience than me, hope it can help.

Tiffany is an amazing house manager. She keeps everything so clean and organized. She’s always available if you need anything.

The staff was very helpful on locating corner stores and grocery stores. The staff was very polite, friendly and respectful and made my stay very comfortable and safe. I highly recommend The Ugly House to everyone.

Stayed here because of the price.
But I will never ever stay here again.
The staff was rude and made the environment very tense.
Tiffany is the house manager who has been to comfortable with her power to remove anyone on any day she is feeling bad.
Her helper Courtney is lazy and I ended up cleaning a majority of this dirty house.
Should be called Dirty House, unless they are referring to how Ugly the staff is to guests.
If I could give it a 0 star I would.
Stay away for your safety and well being.
Thank you.

The most incredible place I've ever known, it made me feel at home. The lady who takes care of it is incredibly kind and attentive. My fellow lodgers are amazing people. There's an atmosphere of peace and tranquility that makes you feel at home, but most importantly, you feel safe, comfortable, and at peace. With the security of living like family. I will miss you all, but I'll come back every time I travel to Houston. There's no more pleasant place than 'The Ugly House,' which, to me, should be called 'The Beauty House.' Love you all. Thank you all

the place is located in an area where most of the houses have bars on the doors and windows. The room that was provided for me was a bedroom or something that was divided in half with sheetrock that was very poorly done. The room was only about 6 feet wide and 10 feet long painted a dark red. The door was the wrong size for the opening so there was gaps all around the door. The door did lock but since it didn't fit the opening as it was to small you could push open the door even with it being locked. The house had 8 rooms that I am sure was converted out of other rooms that were very poorly constructed. There was only one bathroom and it was very unsanitary. the shower/tub had rust stains and what looked like to me mold around the areas of the caulking. The ledge of the window in the shower had open tubes of toothpaste. I am supried

A woman that I don't know who was, but was nice, other no recommend as there is just one bathroom for many rooms, too much people, have to wait long time just to use it.,
And I can't access to the property as is lock inside and the code they give didn't work, you have to knock the door very loud to someone open for you to enter, also the TV never worked, I am really never go again.
