Great location, super safe, lovely staff, beautiful rooftop. We absolutely loved our visit!!

Casa Luciana was one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I’ve had in recent times. Upon arrival, we spent several minutes at the door trying to ring the doorbell, which was not working properly. The staff’s reception was impersonal and unwelcoming. There is no elevator. The room, in my view, had dust in the corners and was not cleaned properly. Don’t expect any welcome message or anything of the sort. There is no minibar or air conditioning in the rooms, only a ceiling fan. You receive water in a jar upon arrival, with no indication of its source or quality. We accidentally locked the bathroom door, which got locked from the inside. When we asked for assistance at the front desk, we were handed a container with 200 unmarked keys, left to try each one until we could open the door. When we ordered sparkling wine from the menu, we were informed that none was available. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, and consequently, neither was the television. Breakfast was supposed to start at 8:00 am, but on the third day of our stay, we left at 8:00 and walked past the breakfast area, which was completely inactive. Two guests were waiting for someone to arrive to start the breakfast service. The room cleaning service basically makes the bed. Used glasses and cups are left exactly where you put them. I have never seen service like this—awful. I would never return and do not recommend it for anyone who expects even minimal attention during their stay.
Positives: bed, linens, towels and shower

Great hidden gem in the heart of La Condessa! Highly recommend…staff was awesome and food amazing!

Very nice place and staff. I only recommend they wash their bed sheets because they very obviously do not.

Wonderful place to stay. Can not recommend enough. The staff was so kind and helpful. Breakfast and beverages were delicious. Quiet location, but close enough to walk to a variety of restaurants and shops.

We had a medical emergency and they called an ambulance they were very caring and responsive. In the chaos (not the hotel staff, they were not in the room) police or ambulance stole our wallet. I will stay here again.

Beautiful building in a nice neighborhood. Room and common areas were clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included and delicious. I even paid extra for a massage which was well worth it. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning

This is literally one of our very favorite hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The property is beautiful and pristinely clean. The staff is uniformly wonderful - Friendly, helpful and available whenever you need them. The room is well decorated - simple but elegant with a comfy bed and wonderful lighting. And the rooftop deck is fantastic day or night. Will definitely stay again the next time we’re in CDMX.

What a gem!
Everything is tastefully planned and aesthetically pleasing. Great urban vacation escape for couples.

From the inception of our checkin, we weren’t greeted by a hostess, but by one of the restaurant employees. For nearly $300.00 per night, you would expect a welcome drink or at the very least water in your room and a mini fridge. Not only did they not supply us with any water, but the room faced the street, did not have A/C which didn’t fare well for a warm weekend stay. Open windows equates to as noisy evening, so your options are either to be disturbed by passerby’s or to warm up like a furnace. This was our first stay away from our children and you would hope that it would be a comfortable one. We could hear the above and below guests as they showered or flushed the toilet. A drain line that seemed to run through our bathroom made the loudest noise while it rained, which vibrated and gurgled (which was the entirety of our first evening). We tried to cancel our reservation upon entry at 5 pm and could not get a hold of the manager on duty. We left the following morning after being told by Mariana that the owner would get back to us. It’s been 9 days and despite multiple efforts of contacting him/her (text, email, phone-calls), we have yet to hear back and our account has yet to be refunded for the 2 evenings that we did not stay. We decided to stay at this hotel based upon favorable reviews, but after this horrifying experience, we decided to deep dive and found that reviews were all posted 9 months ago. In addition to the terrible service, noise, lack of AC that kept me an

We loved staying here for our trip to CDMX. I would stay here for the rain shower alone. The property was tidy, breakfast was good, and we booked a spa experience for our anniversary, which was wonderful. I would recommend all my friends who visit CDMX to stay here. We took Ubers around and everything was in close proximity within a $5-10 Uber ride. There is a fan in the room. The only one small complaint I’d have is the pillows, but I am picky about my pillows. My husband and I like pillows to be plump and comfy (like most of us would have in our homes). While there were multiple pillows available on the bed, none were quite comfortable to sleep with. That’s something I find at most hotels, so I can’t fault them for that. I just need to be diligent about taking my own pillow to places. After all, sleep is the most important thing when you’re staying away from home. Other than that, everything else at this hotel was spectacular.

Loved the decor, comfort of the room, and especially the staff. Most of the staff do not speak English but thankfully there's Google translate. The manager is very responsive to text via Whatsapp. Breakfast and drinks were delicious. This was our first trip to Mexico City and discovered that many places don't have a/c. Casa Luciana kindly provided us with a standing fan which we greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing place to stay. Quiet neighborhood, all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning is delicious. Room is clean and very comfortable. Terrace is beautiful!
4.7
Pros: everything brand new, felt luxurious. Great location for walking around La Condesa. Excellent breakfast, beautiful rooftop terrace.
Cons: no air conditioning, we had to leave the windows open to cool off and that made it noisy. Staff didn’t explain how to order food or drinks during the day.

Beautiful hotel, clean and the staff was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the terrace. The shower was amazing. Based on the price we would’ve thought the sleeping conditions would’ve been better, you either had to have the door to outside open which made it very loud or close the door but then the room got quite warm.

I loved staying here. The hosts were friendly and tolerant of my weak language skills. A great place!!
4.7
Great staff, location and rooms. Quiet rooms with all the space one needs
4.7
We found Casa Luciana to be a beautiful and comfortable oasis. The space was lovely and intimate. The rooms very nice with very comfortable bedding and wonderful shower. The staff attentive and while it sometimes took a while to get a drink or snack on the rooftop, we were not in a hurry and loved that space. We were made to feel very welcome by all staff . We will definitely return and choose to stay there every time. Will book a massage next time.
