Our unique features include a sheltered terrace which is covered by a magnificent glass roof. With a huge gas BBQ, which also converts to a pizza oven, and a large comfortable outdoor sofa and dining table Enjoy outdoor living whilst soaking up the peaceful countryside views, listening to the birds. Open up the bi-fold doors to connect this space to the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Wester Den has 3 bedrooms so you can choose who takes the 2 upstairs bedrooms with the family bathroom, large shower and luxurious freestanding bath. One of the bedrooms has a balcony overlooking the terrace, under the glass roof. Or do you choose the master suite which has its own staircase up to a private relaxing seating area? With a superking bed on the ground floor which can also be split into twin beds and a walk-in dressing area/wardrobe and ensuite shower room. French doors lead directly out onto the terrace with views of the countryside. In the colder months, have cosy nights in, in front of the log burner, watching movies on the 65" smart TV. And the extras? Let the Taste of Angus Welcome Pack showcase delicious treats local award winning food producers have to offer. Once booked start planning your trip by exploring our digital guide which will inform you on the unique experiences Angus has to offer whether it is sea kayaking amongst the caves, going on a boat tour to try to spot dolphins, or climbing up Arbroath's Signal Tower. We also offer extras to add to your booking such as a Scottish Breakfast Pack (paid locally). If you need help to book any experiences or restaurants, we can offer this too.
Arbroath is a wonderful base with many local tourist attractions and easy routes to explore further afield, to Dundee, St Andrews, Aberdeen & Edinburgh. Arbroath is commonly known as the birthplace of Scotland with its Arbroath Abbey, founded in 1178 and famous for the 1320 Declaration of Scottish Independence. The Championship Golf Course at Carnoustie is a short 15 min drive away and St Andrews with its many famous golf courses is 45 mins drive. The city of Dundee is 25 mins away with the V&A museum and RRS Discovery - the ship that took Captain Scott to Antarctica in 1901. EPC rating - C

From the moment I booked this property, the communication from the owners was first class. Another thing that was very helpful was the online information package about the property and the area. The house was immaculate, beautifully presented with every detail taken care of. In addition the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend the house for anyone wanting to be in the Arbroath, Carnoustie area.

Beautiful house with everything well thought out. Shirley was lovely. She made us feel at home right from the start of our stay. Really nice touch's like the milk and bread on arrival. The property was immaculate through out. Would highly recommend it.

My partner and I spent 3 lovely nights at Wester Den, the house was clean, warm and had everything we needed. The covered area outside was perfect for cosy nights watching the sun go down, even when it was raining.
We will definitely be back :)

Wester Den certainly lived up to the Vbro details. Everything about it was braw, super relaxing wee break and with our dog which is the way we like it. Shirley was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.

The house was immaculate and had many lovely finishing touches, even for our dog. We were welcomed and were checked upon to ensure everything was to high standards which it absolutely was.
The house itself has a great lay out and so much space from seating areas, bedrooms and storage.
The garden is very big and private with an outside covered seating area and a huge BBQ so lots of outside space to utilise in the better weather.
The location itself is quiet and not far from the beach to walk along where is a great park for the kids and not far to get to Dundee and Carnoustie.
Highly recommend.
