We came up for my best friends birthday weekend and it was perfect. Location is incredible for people wanting to stay just on the outside of the city, plenty of food options close by. Overall excellent stay.

Place overall was great in terms of value. All required amenities were there. Lots of shops and stores nearby as well. Just 30-40 minutes by transit to downtown. Just keep in mind that area can be a bit sketchy on the blue / green line at night, especially around Austin/Pulaski.

Easy check-in, clean, and good location. Rules for stay and check-out easily accessible. Any issues easily addressed with host.

We spent 5 nights here to see Metallica's 2 concerts in Chicago and take in the beautiful sights of the city. The apartment offers free parking but we decided to use public transportation and uber since parking in Chicago would have been difficult. The walk to the train station is 15 to 20 minutes, we used the train to go to Chicago but used Uber every evening to take us straight to the apartment.
The bed is comfortable and bedding is nice. The host Ali is quick to answer questions or help with anything you need. Overall we had a great stay.

The lay out of the condo is open , wish I like very much. I love the bed and the sheets . Everything is close , there is a jewel grocery about a block. I enjoyed my walk because oak park has beautiful house and building from the 1930 , some history there. Shop , restaurant and cafe is about few blocks away. There were some issues but Ali handled it very quickly. The community with Ali was the best ,he is a great Host. Thank you.

We found this to be a nice though not exceptional apartment for our stay in Oak Park. Our hist was very responsive to questions and was very well organized with the check-in and check-out. Having a parking space was very convenient, as was the proximity to the Frank Lloyd Wright properties, which were within walking distance. The apt was furnished reasonably well, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was lovely.
On the negative side, regarding the listing information, I find it diffcult to believe this apt is 2400 sq. ft. There were also a couple of outlets without proper covers. I didn’t notice bare wires, but if i had a small child, I might be concerned. And lastly, the AC in the living room was so loud, we couldn’t hear the TV, and the one in the bedroom was loud enough to make it difficult to sleep.

The unit was a little older and more weathered than the photos implied, but the neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. It was a little hard to find the parking lot when we arrived and we also wished the walk to the L was shorter. The bed was very comfortable, communication with the hosts was easy and helpful, there were no issues checking in or out. The space was large enough for our family of 3.

Was a great spot for a weeklong trip, plenty of restaurants and train lines nearby, would highly recommend.

It was fine, but the photo that caused me to book this place was misleading, and I should have dug further. it was a picture of a building in town, and the actual place is far south and east.

The manager had unbelievable communication. He has his phone with him constantly and responds immediately. It's a good walking neighborhood lots of sidewalks and pleasant surroundings. The condo itself is exceptionally clean. For the price in that neighborhood it is a very good value.

This is a great spot for spending some days around Chicago. It was nicely decorated, clean, the furniture arrangement of this place is quite practical. Beds are cozy. Owner provided enough bed sheets and pillows. We did breakfast at this place to save time with kiddos and we found it has the basics for a morning start such as coffee and coffee maker, a nearby supermarket, napkins, utensils, cups, plates and bowls. Communication was awesome, the owner really cares about getting expectations right. Parking is definitively a convenient benefit since we don't use our car to drive to Chicago. Good food and transportation are at close, walkable distance to the unit and when doing so the area felt safe and an enjoyable act of appreciation of Chicago's housing architecture. Internet works fantastic. Price of booking is tight to the conditions of the building which is decently maintained but not a luxury venue. The unit smells strong to a hotel room cleaner but it's tolerable. Because this unit is in the lower level, windows cannot be left opened at night. AC is a little bit noisy so we didn't use it.

My wife and I spent a long weekend here. The apartment had plenty of room, was nicely decorated. The kitchen contained everything we needed to cook a full meal (which we did not). The bed is very comfortable. Ride service to downtown averaged $25. It was perfect.

Everything was as described, lots of space. Contacted host about an issue & he resolved it quickly. Free parking was a big plus.

We had a great experience with friends. The apartment was clean and spacious, and there was everything we needed.
The location was good for us, a short distance to the city and United Center. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful.
Ali was a great host, helpful, hospitable and communication was easy with him. He responded quickly and always helped when needed.
Overall, the apartment felt like home and I hope to come back. I really recommend staying here if you want a five star experience.
Thanks Ali, it was a great trip.

The apartment is fine. The neighborhood is wonderful and many places to see and walk around. The apartment was clean but lacked comfort. The kitchen was lacking (handles on pots & pans were loose - coffee machine was missing the filter insert, no way to wipe the kitchen down with clean sponges or towels) and the furnishings felt like the the hosts purchased the absolute minimum (dining room table was so small that our family of three felt crowded - one small cloth dresser & no place to put luggage other than floor - nightstands were minimal). Parking spot was nice. Overall it was just average.

Ali was very responsive and patient when I misunderstood the directions to access the apartment. The apartment is clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well organized and has everything you need although I didn’t cook during my stay. The bedroom is very spacious and comfortable. The host had shampoo, conditioner and body wash pumps in the shower which was convenient. I thought the neighborhood was quiet even though near a major street. Very nice to have my own parking spot and not have to worry about street parking. I would recommend this listing and would stay again.

This property was perfect for our visit to an Oak Park-based family member. Convenient location and easy communication with the unit owner made this a great landing spot. Fairly large 1-bedroom floor plan allowed me to go to bed early while my partner enjoyed some late-night TV. We didn't cook any meals since Chicago has too many good restaurants, but the unit was well-stocked and the linens were nice and clean. Older building, so it wasn't without its creaks and noises, but as one would expect in a multi-family building. Will be staying here next time around.

I was a clean place with all amenities, as described. Management always available. Would love to stay there on my next trip.
