This property was exactly as described. So relaxing, and approx a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia. Please be aware, the sleeping area would not be conducive for a larger individual. The bed was super comfy đź‘Ť We enjoyed the fully functional kitchen, fire pit, and loved the wildlife right in the backyard. So glad we chose this tiny home!

Beautiful views was a short drive to Acadia and shopping at Bar Harbor. Definitely preferred staying at this comfortable retreat rather than in the harbor. We had a great time! Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was quiet but close to many different towns. We enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings here as we explored the location. The view was unbeatable.

Everything was as advertised, beautiful location, well set up, very cool! Great to have a place with condoment spices, etc.

We loved the property and would certainly stay again if ever traveling back to the Bar Harbor/Acadia area. The house was quaint and comfortable both inside and out. It is conveniently located just outside of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor which was nice to come back to after long days of doing the tourist type activities. My only suggestions would be to add a picnic table and/or chairs for closer to the firepit and possibly have the option of kayaks/canoes/paddle board whether included in the rental price or at an additional cost.
Thank you again for a great weekend stay.

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We had been to Acadia before but wanted to stay a little closer to the park this time. You can drive to Acadia or down town bar harbor is less than half an hour. I can’t tell you how convenient this location was for enjoying outdoor activities. We were also close to Ellsworth, a town with a great brewery (Fogtown) as well as shops and restaurants. We got to wake up every morning to a private view of the bay and watch the sunset every night. It was so relaxing. The tiny house had everything you’d need. An indoor and outdoor shower, a kitchen stocked with anything you’d need to make a meal, and a fire pit to enjoy the summer nights a little more. I would love to come back!

I stayed here with my teenage daughter and highly recommend it. This place is about 20-25 minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor but it is very peaceful and a welcome refuge from all the crowds in those places. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Our stay at the Trenton tiny house was perfect for our long weekend visit to Acadia. The house is in a great secluded location, but close to the island. We loved having our own private beach area to unwind and relax after long days of hiking. I would definitely stay here again!

Such a tranquil location with the most amazing 180 degree view of the water. We enjoyed the cool breezes in the hammock to read, picnic table for breakfast, sitting on the rocks to paint, and exploring the shoreline at low tide. So peaceful. The location is amazing in itself and then it is also so well placed to just a short jump to Acadia! The tiny house was perfect for my teen daughter and I for a 4 day adventure. It is small, but it is a really well organized space and honestly had everything we needed and then some and perfect for the two of us! She loved the super cozy loft and I enjoyed the pull out couch. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and outdoor space to eat. We can't wait to go back...we loved this little slice of heaven!

The house had everything we needed to make our trip memorable. The view of the bay with the mountain landscape in the background was very pleasant. The deck was a perfect addition that we utilized greatly for drinking coffee and morning yoga. Overall a great location for people who spent long days in Acadia NP.

We spent 4 nights in June at this adorable tiny house. The property was such a beautiful sight as we drove up. Right on the water and secluded from anyone else. It was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. As stated, the ladder to the loft is straight up, but if you take it slow there was no problem going up and down. I will say that I am not sure I would call it a queen sized bed since that is what we have at home. It definitely seemed more like a full size bed, but it was so comfortable! It was a tight fit for my husband and I. The bathroom reminded me of a cruise ship sized bathroom, but again, very clean and sufficed for what we needed. We gathered some fallen tree limbs and built the most beautiful fire in the fire pit. With an adult beverage in our hand and the sun setting over the water, if could not have been a more beautiful first night there.
If the bed was a tad bigger, we would for sure stay here again.
Our local recommendations are: biking the carriage roads, pizza at Zappa's (nicest ladies that work there), dinner at Stewmans, drinks at Beer Works and Atlantic Brewing, coffee at Precipice and 44 North in Stonington. We took the ferry from Stonington to Isle au Haut and hiked all day. Highly recommend!!!
Thank you for making our 31st anniversary trip a big success!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Tiny House. It was cozy and comfortable for the two of us, and the view of the bay was wonderful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit.
The neighborhood was quiet, and not too far from Bar Harbor / Acadia. There is also a nice little bakery 10 minutes away.

Loved listening to the rain drops on the leaves outside the loft window. Lulled me to sleep nightly. And the birds and loons were a delight to wake up too. Kayaked at sunset and ebikes through Acadia. Fall in Trenton was a dream! Would come back here!

The sunset across the water sitting by a campfire. Yeah.

Loved this place! Close to lots of activities. Very private and quite with an ocean view. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings with our dinner.

We had a great stay for our Minimoon trip to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park. Close to Bar Harbor and lots of great food places, but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness and quiet that this place offers. You can’t beat waking up to the beautiful view of the Bay every morning. Offers everything needed for a trip for 2.
Side note, if you have any mobility issues, this might not be the best stay for you. The bed is located in a loft up a short steep ladder that could be problematic for some.
Our top recommendations:
Breakfast: The Stadium in Bar Harbor
Coffee/Pastries: Sugar Bakery in Trenton
Food overall: Leary’s
Loved our stay! Can’t wait to come back!

What a gem! So envious of whomever owes this property. It was the perfect place to have a base camp in Acadia! Away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, but close enough to enjoy the amenities. The place was so peaceful. We watched birds, got nibbled on by a rock crab, and enjoyed a resident fox. Would highly recommend! Also, glad there was no TV… forced us to just enjoy the space.

Overall great place to stay
Did not reveal the way to get to the 2n floor is thru a keyhole entrance: anyone of a larger size or not having good balance would have difficulty accessing the second floor.
Great kitchen supplies/ spices, however, need to wipe of oil bottles

Had a lovely stay at the Trenton tiny house. Gorgeous views out every window and cabin has everything you need!

This tiny house is spacious enough for two and 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia. We spent early evening watching the sun start to set and then at night lying on the boat ramp to watch the stars. Our days were spent exploring beautiful Acadia and a couple of evenings in Bar Harbor. There are local lobster pounds and a sufficient grocer. Evenings were cool so we left the windows open. No AC needed but available. Comfortable bed and pullout. The loft was tough for my 6’3” husband and for nighttime trips to the bathroom. We loved our stay and this tiny house. We chose to make breakfast and lunch and ate out most nights. We brought in lobster one night and ate it on the deck. A sweet house in a beautiful spot. We had a wonderful time and would consider returning.

We almost thought the pictures on VRBO couldn't be real, but they were! The view was absolutely spectacular - your front yard is the ocean!
The house is incredibly clean and well stocked - had everything we needed to be comfortable.
The location is fantastic, so close to Acadia. We really appreciated the beautiful house, the fire pit, the picnic table & outside seating, and the outdoor shower. It was nice to have the option of air conditioning but we never even needed it. Hope to stay again! Susan at Simply Rentals was very organized, helpful, and communication was always clear.

You just never know if it’s really gonna be like the pictures or not! It was even better than what we expected. Waking up to the ocean right outside your loft window every morning is dreamlike! The area is so private and peaceful. We mainly we’re going to explore Acadia which was only a short drive away but ended wishing we would have hung more at the house. Truly a special place and my wife and I will certainly be back! The host was great and covered everything you needed to know and then some!

The tiny Trenton beach house was adorable. The waterfront view was beautiful and the cottage was very cozy. My husband and I slept in the loft and our daughter slept on the pull out couch. It was perfect for what we needed. We spent our days exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor and at night we hung out by the fire pit while watching the moonlight shine on the water. We caught a few sunsets at the beach house and that was stunning. We will definitely return and stay at The Tiny Trenton Beach House again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The Tiny Trenton Beach house was exactly as described. We were off exploring every day and the house was perfect to come home to after hiking all day. My 11 yr old daughter slept in the loft and my husband and I slept on the pullout. There isn’t really a beach, it’s very rocky, and no tide to speak of being in the bay so you won’t hear waves, but it was nice to hear and to see the loons in the am! Only complaints are that gardeners gave us a startle when they came at 9pm without warning to mow the lawn and weed whack around the house. Also the shower is VERY small and tricky to bend over in without knocking something off the shelf. All in all, If you’re looking for a nice quiet cottage to relax and do some reading with a beautiful view after hiking around Acadia, the tiny Trenton beach house is perfect !

My adult son and I stayed at the Tiny Trenton house for a few days as we explored Acadia National Park. The house was as exactly as described and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Grounds were lovely and very quite. Would highly recommend but also warn that the ladder into the loft is steep as described. Would visit again for sure.

This house was awesome!
Amazing location, atmosphere, and the views from just about any window were spectacular. The perfect distance from Acadia/Bar Harbor. After a long day of hiking, shopping etc, this is the perfect place to wind down and relax while watching the sunset on the private beach.
We’re excited to come back to Maine and absolutely would stay here again!

This place was perfect (for us anyway)! We enjoyed staying in a place that was away from the hustle/bustle of Bar Harbor, which is very busy with tourists. It was nice being in the center of multiple communities with different offerings. The house itself is so roomy on the inside, despite being a tiny house. Everything was clean and simply but elegantly decorated. It felt very much like a home away from home! We loved having our own private beach, watching the tide come and go each day from anywhere in the house (in the loft, kitchen, or living room). We also bought some seafood from the local markets and made fresh lobster and cod and stuffed clams. YUM!! The kitchen provided all of the tools, dishes, and staple spices you'd need to cook a delicious meal.
In the "book" there were wonderful suggestions for what sites to see and where to go for the best bites and ice cream. We tried most of them and were not disappointed! Go to Pugnuts 100%!
We'd love to come back sometime when we have better weather so we can enjoy the outdoor offerings a bit more. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

This is a nice quiet place to recharge and a great location for visiting Acadia. Looking forward to our next visit. Cheers~

The cabin was beautiful and well appointed, and the kitchen was well stocked with the small things you need to make a meal but don't want to have to buy on vacation. We loved being by the seaside and the view was incredible.
The only issue we had was that the bed was extremely hard, to the point of being painful to sleep on. We tried switching to the pull out bed but it had similar issues. As a result we weren't really able to sleep well on our vacation. If the property owner updates the bed situation, then I would recommend this place without reservation, as the rest of it is truly wonderful.

Really Great location! Loft is a challenge, needs better mattress, and more better pillows. Put felt pads under furniture and take down sign. Otherwise very delightful!!
