About this apartment rental
Seaspray is a fantastic one bedroom property in Fowey, with spectacular, panoramic views over the Fowey Estuary and out to sea.
At the quieter end of the Esplanade, yet just a couple of minutes gentle stroll along the seafront takes you to Readymoney Beach, Fowey Harbour and Fowey town with an array of restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. A wonderful base for anyone wishing for a central location to enjoy the delights of Fowey and the beautiful surrounding areas.
Set in a detached house, this recently refurbished and modernised flat is in an enviable elevated position, boasting incredible and uninterrupted views of Polruan, the Fowey Estuary and out to sea.
Living area: smart TV, Wi-Fi, DVD player, DVDs, books, blankets, sofa, two armchairs, dining table and chairs, roller blackout blinds.
Kitchen area: oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, hot chocolate Velvetiser, cooking and eating equipment. Basic cleaning products and cloths, aluminum foil, oil, tea, coffee, sugar provided. The kitchen is small and compact with little space for food storage but very well equipped with everything you need.
Bedroom 1: king size bed with all bedding and linen by The White Company. Spare pillows (memory support pillows and standard), bedspread/blanket, hangers, luggage rack, hoover, iron, travel hairdryer and styler, roller blackout blind, bedside tables and lamps, mirror. It is fairly short of storage but plenty of hanging space.
Bathroom: shower over bath, toilet and sink. Towels, toilet roll, soap, hand wash, hand cream, shampoo, conditioner, bath & body wash by The White Company or Land & Water.
Outside space: large private patio/balcony with spectacular views over to Polruan and out to sea. A perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee and watch the world go by! Deckchairs, table and chairs. Bins are stored around the side of the house, accessed through the balcony.
Access and parking - There are six steps up from the path/road level followed by a further six STEEP steps up to the main front door / entrance leading into the hallway of the main building. The apartment is on the ground floor. Lock box on the patio wall for key access. Private parking is to the rear, overlooking the house, on the next level/road up (St. Fimbarrus Road). There is access to the parking space through the garden via a set of STEEP steps - but that's Fowey! You may prefer the less steep side road (Daglands Road) and there is also a path here between the two roads which is much easier (it would take just a couple of minutes to get to the car). All directions and instructions will be provided before your arrival.
Cost of all services included - gas central heating, hot water through combi boiler, electricity and Wi-Fi.

The location and outlook of this apartment is exceptional! It was so relaxing we didn’t feel like going out to explore! We did of course and found a short walk into town as well as walks around the headland. The furnishings, linen, decor and bathroom products were all very good quality. The welcome pack of tasty goodies was a lovely surprise too. Thank you Emma.

The view from the front window of boats going to a fro in the Fowey estuary was a tremendous feature. Everything in the property was as described and it was very comfortable and convenient.

The flat is located on the waterside and is furnished in coastal colours. The sitting room is a good size with a little dining table next to the window....so you can happily sit watching the world (and boats) go by over breakfast. The kitchen is a galley style and has a good selection of essentials. It does lack storage space (which the owner states) for groceries which made things a little cluttered but manageable.
The flat also has an off.road parking space located above the garden which is ample size and quite rare for Cornwall!!!
However, due to the age of the property (and maybe because it's not constantly lived in/ventilated properly), unfortunately there does seem to be a damp issue in the bedroom and bathroom. Towels didn't dry properly and our clothes also felt slightly damp. We did put the heating on one evening as it had rained a lot but neither room felt particularly warm, which might be part of the problem. In addition the bed sheet had a couple of stains on them which wasn't great. The entrance to the flat is via stone steps which could do with a good weeding to tidy things up.
These couple of issues are a real shame as it's a lovely flat overall with a fab view. Its very centrally located in Fowey and is easy walking distance to the town/harbour and beach.

Property was nice and bright and clean. Location was good; above the noise of the lower town and high enough for great view. Good access to major roads. Instructions from host excellent.

Lovely bijou flat. Very well presented with the most stunning views across Fowey and Polruan. It has a near little terrace at the front to sit and watch the boats go by. Wonderful communication all the way from Emma and I can’t recommend it enough. Emma also left a lovely welcome pack. We’ve been travelling for 4 months across Europe and the UK and we very much enjoy our time here. Many thanks Emma.

The apartment was in the prefect location with views of the harbour, out to sea and of Polruan just across the river, however the few steps from the street to the main entrance are short but a little steep, not so bad once for have done them a couple of times.
We found it ideal for walks into town, with plenty of places to eat and shop, I would recommend booking somewhere to eat at the busy times. It was great having somewhere to park, however it can be a it confusing to get from the apartment to the parking space, but once we had done it a couple of times, we found a short cut between the two roads, which helped.
We contacted Emma a few times, and was very quick to respond.
Would use this place again if we were to return to Fowey.

Stunning views from the living area bay windows.
Spotlessly clean, with all needs taken care of.
Emma quickly sorted a minor issue on check in.
Only slight issue was location of the allocated car space an uphill walk away.
Otherwise, an excellent place to stay in beautiful Fowey.

You could not find a more spectacular view in Fowey! The comfortable sitting room & the terrace give panoramic views over the estuary. Binoculars are a must!
The lack of storage for food in the kitchen is a problem. There are tea pots, coffee & chocolate machines, casseroles & flan dishes plus a glass for every occasion but nowhere to store food. The very small bathroom is similarly short of storage.
A problem arose in the apartment during our stay & Emma sorted it out within a day which was brilliant.
Having noted the negatives we would still return for those wonderful views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break in Fowey.
The flat was perfect for us, centrally located, well furnished and very comfortable. The views over the estuary were fabulous.
Loved the White Company bedding and bathroom products. A little bit of luxury!
Steep steps to the front door, but that’s Fowey!
Would definitely visit again…..

A lovely clean apartment in a fantastic position in Fowey. Fabulous views of the water and ideally placed for walks, pubs etc. Also with the added bonus of a parking space. Emma is a helpful host and we had a wonderful stay in her property.
