The perfect location for your family vacation, couple's getaway, group retreat or reunion. Our house is the best location on an extraordinary lake, with southern exposure, a large deck and plenty of dock space, plus a swim float. Green Lake is a small, pond-size lake, so boat traffic is low, waves are small, and kids are safe. Canada Lake, accessed by boat, offers more adventures. Hike from the house to Kane Mountain fire tower for breathtaking views, or let the kids explore nearby ponds with salamanders, tadpoles and beaver dams. You can have a fulfilling week without leaving the lake – but there’s lots to explore in this unique southern Adirondack location. Saratoga, Cooperstown, the Adirondack Museum and Lake George Great Escape are popular day trips.

Our family had a wonderful time at this lake house! We were able to swim right off the dock, which has stairs which made an easy entry into the water. We also canoed, hiked and enjoyed water views from the deck. This was important since one person in our group has accessibility issues. It was a great house for our multi-generational family vacation. There were lots of boats for us to use as well as a well stocked kitchen. There are lots of great hiking trails nearby as well. The owner was available and easy to contact. I would highly recommend this rental.

I have gone to Canada Lake/Green Lake my whole life. We needed to rent a place for our whole family and this home was perfect. A beautiful home and everything was exactly what we expected. As a result, we had a GREAT week at the lake. Would love to stay there again. Thank you!!!

We had a lovely fall weekend getaway. The property was beautiful and quiet. It was a relaxing, stress-free family experience. The house was the perfect size for what we needed. Zero complaints, would love to come back again, maybe in the summer time next.

We had such a wonderful time at Martha’s place. She is so friendly and easy to communicate with. The house is very clean and well stocked. Plenty of space to spread out on the rainy days. Our families had an incredible time and hope to return. Thank you for sharing this beautiful house with us!!

It did rain all week for us. The kayak and boats are fun. The carpet really needs to be removed/replaced, as do all of the beds, though. It would have been nice if the indoor woodstove was working, since we were inside most of the time. The place was a bit dusty and a wee bit dank. Very cute house. Just needs a bit of updating and maybe a few more chairs outside.

This was our second visit to this home. It is spacious and clean with lots of lake toys for outdoor fun. Inside, the family enjoyed cooking and sharing meals, exploring the many books, and playing board games. A great place for spending quality time with the family.

5 adults plus dogs stayed here. Really lovely cottage, seems best spot on the lake. My husband took canoe out...better for two people to handle the breeze. GREAT dining room, GREAT large deck. TV is newer than the pictures...we watched Netflix on it. Kitchen was well appointed-and we really did test out the supply of pots and pans! There IS a microwave. The 5th bedroom is the living room pull out, but we did not use it. Water access is very easy with two spots that have a couple stairs into the water...so you don't have to be an athlete! Great place. Owner very helpful over the phone.

We had a very relaxing time on Green Lake in the Adirondacks. The home was beautiful and the location was perfect. The home was large enough that with a couple days of rain, everyone could enjoy their space. We have 6 adults and one baby and two doggies. We are familiar with this part of the Adirondacks, so we knew where to hike, boat, bike etc. Very relaxing, enjoyable week! The Bennis Family

This was our third time staying in this wonderful location. We had a fantastic time paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, hiking, swimming, reading, watching the loon family, and sitting by the fire at night star-gazing.

This is not the first time we have gathered at this property. My family and I get together for our annual lake vacation and this is our favorite spot throughout the years. Our time together here consists of simple joys to include good food, fishing, swimming and building fires each night. The property is an ideal location and offers all of the comforts of home away from home. Unfortunately, the weather was less than cooperative for us this year and we experienced heavy rain except for one day. We made the best of it with indoor games and activities.

We had a great time at this camp! It was just 3 of us. Me, my husband, and our 6 year old son. Our priority was getting to a place that would support us enjoying the lake while also social distancing. What a great place to enjoy Memorial weekend! The Lake front is sandy bottom and shallow out several yards from shore. It was great for kids. My son had a lot of room to play and he could touch the whole time. We were able to fish right off the dock and caught tadpoles, too! There was an awesome pail we put the tadpoles in before we released them back into the lake. There were lake toys to play with. There were Kayaks, a Canoe and an awesome old row boat. Martha was a great host! We enjoyed the fire pit and the bbq. We would definitely suggest staying at this camp. Thanks again to Martha and family for the great stay!

My family and I rented the property for a week and a half and absolutely loved it, it was a sad day when we had to pack up and leave. The location is great, access to hiking and two connected lakes. There’s a lovely little store just down the road that caters to all the necessities, and a Hannaford grocery store is maybe 20 minutes away for everything else. The property is right on Green Lake, which is clean and very nice for swimming etc. We paddleboarded every morning, as well as used the canoes and row boat that were provided for some evening fishing. The kids loved swimming to the swim dock & jumping off. The home is next to other properties but we felt we had a lot of privacy. The home itself is nice, it was unfortunately not as clean as we’d hope to have upon arrival (dirty dishes left in dishwasher, unmade beds, sconces fallen off the wall, and the carpet in the living space was wet) but overall we were quite comfortable once settled in. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking dinner, and a great grill out back. The large table was perfect for family meals and kids crafting etc. Evenings sitting around the fire pit we’re lovely and relaxing. Overall we had a magically family vacation and hope to rent this home again next summer.

Our family had a great time staying here. Everything was there to ensure we enjoyed our time together, whether hiking Kane Mountain, swimming in the clear lake, golfing at nearby Nick Stoner golf course or taking a leisurely canoe trip. I would recommend staying here to everyone and hope we get a chance to go back.

Our family has enjoyed staying here for a couple of years now. The beautiful lake makes all of life’s stress fade away. Close to several hiking trails, this is a favorite for sure. A wonderful home away from home.

The 2 story, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom camp was perfect for our extended family with 4 adults and 2 kids. There was ample room for dining and family time, as well as solitude. Green Lake was calm and peaceful, perfect for swimming, canoes and kayaks, but it was also an easy paddle into Canada Lake. The proximity to several hiking trails including the Kane Mt. fire tower was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped so we did not have to bring much besides clothes and food. And, what we needed during the week was readily available at the near-by general store.
