The location is beautiful, the staff were great and so was the food. The food prices were also good and it was delicious.
The room was nicely decorated and clean and comfy.
It is an old building, as such the stairs up to the rooms are a little higgledy-piggledy and the ceiling is low on them. There was a bit of noise from downstairs in the pub, due i think to the age of the building, but only until about 10pm, and it wasn't hugely disturbing.

Good evening meal
More choice for someone who doesn't eat a cooked breakfast

Beautiful setting and the staff went out of their way for us

Good food and pleasant staff. Good Beer.
Room was cramped and the bathroom was very tiny indeed. Just possible to shower but very tight. Steep and winding stairs. Bar just beneath our room was noisy but stopped at 10.30pm as promised.
All in all good value for money and the short comings are what we expected at a working pub. We have stayed there before and would do so again.

Absolutely spotless in our room and the pub. Lovely, friendly staff. Food was delicious and large portions. Piping hot and served on warmed plates. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We took our dog and could leave him in our room while eating downstairs as he's crated. He was also made to feel very welcome. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful at night. Bar closes at 10.30 pm so you're not kept awake by customers. Breakfast choice is good and again delicious. We'll definitely go back
Nothing.

Hotel is great lovely pub good food ideal location & great beer garden. very friendly & attentive staff
The room was very small & the single bed a bit uncomfortable. However i had stayed previously in a spacious room with a double bed so maybe it was just my previous experience.

Lovely freindly atmosphere. Guy working the bar super freindly. Lovely retreat away. Would definitely stay again
Breakfast overpriced for what was offered.

Staff very welcoming upon arrival and took time with greetings/check in information despite also running a busy bar at the same time. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The bar downstairs had a very nice atmosphere and is clearly popular. The location is just on the fringes of Exmoor so makes a very handy base for exploring the eastern fringes of the moor or for travelling up to the coast around Watchet/Minehead.
No complaints at all. It isn't a luxury option and that's reflected in the room price, but it was perfectly comfortable. Would definitely consider going back there again.

Loved the location and its quaint traditional pub atmosphere. It’s not fancy but like a comfortable blanket you can wrap yourself in. I will def book to stay again,
It’s not that it could be better instead it’s something to make prospective visitors be aware of in that it’s not disabled friendly as steep stairs to the bedrooms via the pub and whilst there is an easier access it’s not wheelchair friendly and the rooms also not ideal for disability so check before booking to avoid difficulties. We just about managed.

The White Horse is a traditional country pub with lots of original features, flagstone floors and log burners.
Clearly popular with locals, it is warm and cosy and very welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food plentiful and tasty.
As ever, I would have preferred a feather duvet and pillows to the polyester ones. Otherwise no complaints.

Nice oldy world pub, clean room, very friendly staff, good breakfast.
The inside of the pub is a bit run down, and the stair carpet to the rooms is filthy, needs renewing.

Very comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. Large portions of food served in the bar - good choice and very tasty.
Tricky parking if staying on quiz night.
