Great location, the hotel is at a walking distance from the centre. The rooms are big and comfortable.
The breakfast was good but not as good as we expected. The parking spaces are not really reserved and they only have 4 spots, so you can't be sure you will find a place to park.

Great location, nice and charming building

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely view. The bathroom was large by European standards and well appointed. The soft sound of church bells and roosters completed the charming scene.
3.5 / 5.0
-Very nice location, where nearby you have many nice restaurants
-In walking distance you have very interesting sights to check
-Very nice breakfast, with good variety of food
-This hotel has an elevator which was great after walking a lot
-AC seems to be old, was taking sometime to cool down the room, and "Next revision" label was idicating the revision to be done at 2022.
-Toilet was leaking (inside the toilet, not to outside) and thus it was filling up it's tank from time to time and besides that was making a lot of noise, and it was also making them during the night.

the location was spot on, it is very close to the city center.
trying to get a drink at the bar in the Restaurant was between mission impossible and almost impossible. On the second evening we actually left, after being not seen, not talked to even after the third time a waitress walked by and looked at us and I started talking. Ok - there are some bars nearby.

Location in the centre was lively and therefore noisy. That’s the disadvantage of a hotel in the centre of town. Room very spacious and nice bathroom.

The hotel room was amazing value for money, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The staff were very accommodating and helpful.
4.5 / 5.0
The hotel is quite traditional or old school but the rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet facing the garden. Staff are nice and the breakfast is decent. Coffee is fantastic if you ask (I like espresso). Close to the centre but in a quiet place.

Breakfast was good, but a bit sweet to my taste.
Everything was fresh and fresh fruits were available.

Firstly the staff, who were very helpful and welcoming. presented my colleague with a bottle of Champagne on his birthday and even offered to iron my clothes. Secondly the location was excellent to explore Braga from.
Beds were a little uncomfortable and the cockrels at the rear of the property can give you an early start!

Everything was truly wonderful: staff, location, price, for our needs. We could easily walk to our conference venue.

Building is beautiful, room was big and hotel centrally located
quite few things:
- on our arrival ( at noon) we were informed ( cold , sharp and unfriendly) our room would only be ready 3pm which seemed really oddly late. Also we were told check out was at 11am even though booking.com and the own hotel brochure it was at noon
- they do charge € 16 per person for the breakfast but it was a huge rip off. 1 type of cheese, ham, 3 types of bread , not fresh cookies or cake and a bad coffee.
I did pay between 12 to 15 euros for bfast across Portugal that were 1000 better.
If you can just near the hotel there are great and cheaper options
- the shower glass is quite short, that meant having the bathroom literally under water making us to spend few minutes drying out the floor after the shower, not fun
All in all, thoug rated a 4 stars, do not expect a 4 stars staying. If anything and only because of the room size, it'd rather be a 2 -3 stars

Lovely interior, very warm and the scent in the air was very pleasant! Quiet room,, comfortable bed, good shower and a great night of sleep!
Loved everything!

The staff was lovely and the hotel was charming. The location couldn't have been better - it was away from the bustle of the center but just a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to be. They even had bath robes, which was not expected!
It would have been great to have free parking available 24/7. Parking in a nearby lot is complimentary in the evening during specific hours, but has a fee during the day.

amazing location 2 mins from the center
comfortable room
only 4 free spots for parking and most of the time they were occupied by people outside of the hotel. hotel was tired of calling the police every day to fine the cars. if you park in the underground parking close by it’s pretty expensive (the hotel does cover overnight parking)

I loved the location because we could walk everywhere. Parking was included for free. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They knew the area and were eager to insure that we had a fabulous stay. All the staff was fluent in Portuguese and English which was helpful when communicating. The buffet was on point, it had so much to choose from and everything was fresh. The buffet breakfast was over the top. The balcony in our suite was the best part of our stay. We had fun hanging out late at night and having coffee on the balcony early in the morning. We had 2 balconies. The room was clean and well stocked. The towels were large and soft. The blow dryer worked great. The room was spacious. I like the decor in the rooms. There were 4 large closets to use. There was plenty of light in the rooms.
There a few things that can be improved…The tub was old and very high to enter. The refrigerator did not work and 1 full day we didn’t have WiFi or cable. It was ok because we were out and about most of the time. The room needs plugs for phone chargers in outlets or on lights. Magazines and newspapers were not available to read during breakfast( that would be helpful). It would be helpful to have a small gift shop. The area between the office/ check in and the restaurant needs to be more organized. The only improvement for the bathroom is a new tub and the bidet is too close to the toilet. The room needs one more trash can in the bedroom area. A few bottles of water in the room would be great. I would love a bit of a keepsake from the hotel maybe a towel or cup. Also, there was no phone to call the office. It would be nice if they gave you a history of the hotel.
I know it was a 4 star hotel but we enjoyed our stay as much as 5 star hotels.
I would recommend this hotel to friends and I would stay here again. We loved the staff, the balcony, the downtown, the free parking.
Since the WiFi was done, I know that was not there problem. It was down for the whole area.
No WiFi . It was out. Needs newer tub and the bidet moved away from the toilet. Needs ports to plug in your cell to charge on newer lights. Needs a broom so we could sweep, the refrigerator didn’t work, the cable and WiFi were out for 1 day, I would like newspaper to read during breakfast, having brochures and maps available in the lobby
Clean up the room between the lobby and the restaurant

Location was excellent
Room was perfect
Brekafast wasn't great; food not covered up so flies were all over the bread and puddings
Trying to enter the building in the evening, the security guard constantly would lock the door, not be in reception to hear us knock on the door and failed to answer the phone on multiple occasions.

The beds and pillows were not very comfortable and the air conditioning not very effective. At breakfast everything was brought to the table at one time so food and drink were cold
