Check-in was super smooth despite that I asked for a different time to arrive. Thanks a lot guys! Great location, great and kind service to my dog to make sure she had a comfortable bed and food/water bowls, I loved that. Clean bathroom. Not too much street noise despite being next to it, it was alright. Oh also I loved the roof terrace!

The location was great. It is on the river in the middle of Tavira and the have a roof top looking into the town and river. The staff is very friendly and full of excellent recommendations. They are very welcoming of dogs and even provide a bed and bowls. The bed was comfortable and we had a large patio area to ourselves.
it was weirdly humid in Tavira as a whole while we were there and even running the air con we couldn’t dry the towels or keep moisture from accumulating on the walls. I would suggest a better way of dehumidifying in the rooms and in the linen storage area.

Very original place! For once no typical grey/Brown colours like in standard hotels. Nice bathroom and beds. Some rooms have terrace. If you like to be on your own its perfect (owners are barely in guesthouse). Owner gives very authentic advice for restaurants.
If you would prefer hotel-style with reception, this is not your thing. If you have questions, you have to phone them (no prob for us). A bit annoying is the sound of the airco-engine of the room besides, which comes thrue the walls (and we asked for a quiet room). But.... Price/quality It's very good! Spacious rooms with taste!

Beautiful river view from our room. Really nice rooftop terrace. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Friendly and helpful host. One of the very few dog friendly places to stay in Tavira.
The door to the terrace had a key on the inside to lock it. While my husband was on the terrace, another guest visited the terrace, then left, and locked the door (probably because the door was difficult to close securely without locking it). This resulted in my husband being locked oou on the terrace. Luckily he had his cellphone with him and was able to call me to come up and open the door.
Also, the bathroom had a bad smell, which could be remedied by turning on the fan, but still…

Great location, right next to the river and a very short walk from lots of excellent restaurants. Bruno and Agnes were amazing, very friendly and flexible with the check-in. Gave us some great advice on where to eat and how to get to the beach etc. Room was beautiful. Will definitely be coming back!

Location in center at the river. Room with a view. Kind reception at check in
There was not hot water, probably incidental, but owners did not believe us when we told them.
Owners correspondence was a bit peculiar overall. First we received a directive to tell them the exact hour of arrival (if not we will cancel your reservation..), then they did not reply to our messages on arrival time. All of this could be incidental, the place appeared well organised and decorated.

Bad smell in the bathroom

Great location, clean and super friendly staff.
Due to covid the hotel has not had many bookings and been closed for sometime, without much ventilation, the room felt very humid, even though we had a heater. The receptionist Bruno was super nice and welcoming, great location hotel with a rooftop, super clean rooms, so all these things compensated the humidity!
