We loved it was quite, had 2 pools and a nice atmosphere. The apartment was good size with nice design. Loved the breakfast and good communication.
All was good!
4.5
An excellent appartment in one of our favourite spots in Tavira, the Convento das Bernardas , an old monastery totaly revamped by Portuguese Architect Souto Moura. A unique square swimming pool and an amazing view over salt flat lands make this a perfect place and for memorabble holidays.
4.5
Location was ideal, it was quiet and just a few mins walk to the food/fish market, and a few more to the town centre.
Handing the keys back proved problematic. The agent didn’t turn up at the arranged time and it left us late for our flight

Great Location and clear communication with
Flattered
Bathroom had limited ventilation

Breakfast food for one day was in the apartment. Plus a small bottle of port. Good kitchen
Access to drying rack, ironing board, vacuum was very difficult as they were stored in a corner next to the washing machine.
Good to have secure parking but the spaces are too small even for small cars.
There was an insect screen on the living space window but not in either of the bedrooms.
It was quite annoying to have guests from other apartments walking by the windows

Very clean modern unit with tables and chairs outside. Nice pool and brand new appliances. Comfortable beds. Welcome package of breakfast and lunch goodies much appreciated. Hosts were responsive and very kind. Liked the cat visitors and also the horse.
All good.

beautifully designed minimalist apartment in former convent, redone by famous architect. everything was simple and beautiful, super comfortable and very clean
the view of the municipal covered market and the salt flats was not magical

the 2 pools were just excellent for our Kids! they loved it. the whole scenery of that old convent is very beautiful and the spot is great as a starting point to explore the city of Tavira and the nature and beaches around it.
nothing really.
the only weird thing was that we were asked not to put the drying rack outside the apartment.

It was very easy. We texted Olga who was waiting at the gate for us.
The pool was some way off and there wasn’t enough sunbeds

Well designed accommodations close to the city center. The staff was very kind and always happy to help.
There are specific condominium regulations you need to consider, the janitor can be a bit rude. We visited in wintertime (March), unfortunately the sun-beds around the pool where not available.

Well equipped and comfortable apartment. Welcome drink and breakfast basket were nice touches. We appreciated the quality furniture and a full kitchen with Nespresso compatible coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Very quiet apartment (double glazing was effective to block noise from road resurfacing nearby!).
Once I found the instruction manuals, it took some time to work out the heating system (combined air conditioning and heating). The towel radiator was partly detached from the wall, so I was glad it did not fall off during our stay.

We had a memorable stay at Flattered in Tavira!
The things that stood out most for us were; the amazing pool and courtyard, the proximity to the city center and generosity and responsiveness of the host, Mafalda ! The property was beautifully furnished, clean and had all the amenities were after (inc. superfast broadband). Mafalda was super welcoming and responsive, she brought us a sumptuous breakfast on the first morning and made our stay as comfortable as possible.
Can't wait to be back soon!

The apartment is located in a gated community, Convento das Bernardas, an extraordinary renovation/adaptation by Pritzker award architect Souto Moura of a 1500 convent in Tavira. We loved the location (you can walk into town, the municipal market is literally next door, and the ferries to the beaches are easy to reach).
The apartment was beautifully furnished, clean and simple design, very good quality. The apartment was well equipped and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. There was a very nice welcome basket with enough to eat and drink for breakfast the next morning.
Nothing to point out
