Conforto do quarto.

A praia é praticamente particular.

Rooms clean, spacious and modern. Great breakfast- served to order on the quieter weekdays (low season) and buffet when it became busier over the weekend. Really friendly staff. The pool facilities by the pier are lovely with sun loungers and cabanas available. The restaurant ‘Mero’ served great food and cocktails. Well kept gardens and really quirky interior in the main entrance with large exposed rocks within the architecture of the walls.
Small thing- 2 of the 4 swimming pools were ‘natural pools’ which didn’t look like somewhere you would really want to swim. The ‘exclusive beach’ is a very small area of sand at the roadside but there is a small, quiet beach just next to the hotel.

Love the beach the swimming pool and the very friendly staff
A tiny bit far of city centre but you can take the bus which is easy

The room was big, but old bed, and stuff inside the room. The linen were very poor....and covers were old.
The hotel is old, i prefer something newer and better takes care.

Although the hotel is 60 years old, it is very very well mantained. It does not "smell" like an old building. Wonderful and comfortable bed, plenty of hot water in the bathroom, usb outlets in the room, a huge variety of items in the breakfast and a very nice staff. Gabriela, in the front desk, is very helpful and nice.
Everything was perfect with the only exception of the Wi-Fi. It only works in the lobby (for my bedroom, at least). It deserves some investment for It is the only failure found.

The hotel has nice architecture and it is located in front of the beach. They have a restaurant just crossing the street.
You must say to them you have children, if it is the case, for there are rooms far away from the entrance desk with no lift to them.

Breakfast was pretty good ! I loved the local pastries and the coalhada with granola and seeds was a big treat . For my husband the “ rabanadas “ hit the spot 👍🏻.
- maybe a vending machine with water in the gym - more umbrellas outside the breakfast room
- chairs and tables around the pools inside could be more elegant ( no logos unless it had the hotel name .

the location and the pool area was amazing!
the hotel needs repair, the installation is old and need maintenance! Besides, the internet was very weak and did not work properly! also they do not have an office area to work if needed!

Location is very close to the beach. NIce Pool and deck. easy access to boat.
For the amount of money they charge. the service must be top notch. My family and I felt that they were not a customer-oriented hotel. Small things turned into big headaches.
* WIFI did not work on my bedroom when I called the front desk to complain, they told me that I should work from the lobby and that the internet was poor in my room.
* We were in Ilhabela for a wedding party and 9AM (on a SUNDAY) on the day after the wedding, we were woken up by the staff for room service. They placed us on the farthest room in the complex in the middle of a construction zone. We were disturbed my the sound of a drill one morning as well due to the construction.
* All remote controls did not have batteries. We had to physically go to the lobby and request batteries. Staff had a bowl with a bunch of used batteries and I had to "fish" for the "good" batteries. Staff was not friendly.
* They pull a scam to charge R$5 reais per 1 beach towel. The hotel should just increase the daily rate by R$5 and make sure that you threat your customer with more than 1 towel per guest per day. We go there to relax and not worry about such "small" things. We had a boat tour and when we can back, after a all day event, we could not get a fresh towel to enjoy the pool for the rest of the day. Staff was very rude, inflexible, and gave my family a huge headache charging USD $4 for 4 towels. At the end, I fought very hard and fees were voided. For someone on vacation, this is totally not necessary.
* Breakfast buffet was nothing much different than an average hotel. Again, for the price, I would expect much more.

The staff was super friendly and the hotel ammenities were excellent. The swimming pool is amazing!
I didn’t like the distance of the hotel from the main beaches and the center village. But that was not a problem because we could drive to these places.

the property is beautiful. Gorgeous swimming pools and gardens, cute private beach, beautiful breakfast room.
Low windows with no safety for small children / too many steps

The hotel is much better than some of the pictures suggest! Has an interesting combination of architecture; the modern lobby transitions into a stone castle, and later a regular hotel. There are two pools, one on the interior of the hotel, and a second across the street next to the pier (all part of the hotel). The pier has plenty of space to sunbathe, a wonderful view, and a small restaurant. You are able to pay at the restaurant using your room number which makes things easier. There are two small beaches across the street on each side of the pier. The staff are very helpful and attentive. WiFi is great next the pools and lobby.
WiFi is completely inaccessible inside the room, but much better on the balcony. The bar next to the interior pool of the hotel was not always open.

Hotel is beautiful, with an amazing swimming pool and a cozy pier served by the bar. Room is spacious and comfy. Free valet parking available due to the limited size of the parking lot in front of the hotel.
WiFi in the room was terrible, even sending a text message was an ordeal. It was impossible to upload pictures or watch a video online.
Hotel is extremely bureaucratic. You have to fill many forms and accept to lots of terms & conditions from the get go. You get bombarded at check-in by a thousand rules, making you feel as if you're a teenager going to a concert. Speaking of concerts, they force you to keep a wristband for the duration of your stay.
