A comfortable stay overlooking the park and beach, near the university and North Woollongong station. Drapes didnt quite close across the large window with the expansive view so next time I will bring an eye mask. Lovely hot shower but had to run water for several minutes first. I would love to stay again for a minibreak by the sea :)

Had someone knocking on everyone’s door at an ungodly hour which is no one’s fault but his. How ever his noise was not muffled one bit by the closed doors.

The Beach Hotel is a value for money option, beautifully located to the beach. The property shows sign of age but also repairs are being conducted and my room on the ground floor was scrupulously clean. The bed was comfortable, wifi worked well and there were plenty of powerpoints around. This is not a luxurious hotel but it is clean, comfy and convenient!

The only good thing I could say is the bed was comfortable. The room we stayed in was very small, nowhere really for suitcase and belongings.The bathroom was tiny, hardly any room to dry yourself outside the shower. The toilet had a leak which left the floor wet, and a handwritten sign over the light switch warned of a risk of electrocution, due to the switch being damaged. I also did not like that they took a copy of my driving license as well as my credit card on check in.

We had too much light coming in above the curtains. The noise from the unit next door was loud. Both of these kept us awake. There was mould on the bottom of the shower curtain and the dirty exhaust fan was coming off the roof. There wasn't enough parking and we had to park on the road. Everything in the room was dated. We found the price wasn't value for money

Were given a room smelt bad of mould tv volume didn't work. Asked to be refunded which we were refused. We were allocated another room condition wasn't great.Very old and run down not very clean curtains are dirty and ceiling could see were the mould was once cleaned.

This property is ideal for a stop over anything longer is not ideal. The room is small, the blanket was stained, if you get a room with no view a couple of days feels like a life time. No privacy as the back rooms with balconys over look the car park.

Called in advance to request an ironing board in my room, was assured one would be there - there was not. I arrived during reception’s “open” hours, but reception was closed and my key in an outdoor box. I had received a code for the key box but when I opened it was suprised to find 10 other keys in there - zero security. Felt even less when I got to my room and found the balcony glass door unlocked and wide open. I contacted the contact number provided to ask about the ironing board, received no response, and had no access to an ironing board for the duration of my stay (which was a work trip). The final issue was that housekeeping is once weekly - which would be fine, if the room was adequately stocked for my stay. There were no additional bin liners provided, not toilet paper. I ended up having to buy my own toilet paper to avoid the several hundred dollar “after hours” call out fee, which was just ridiculous. Will not stay again, would not recommend.

When we arrived, we were shown to a room that we did not book. We wanted a room with 2 double beds and they said they had no such room. We showed the receptionist the picture we booked for and she said there was no such room. After speaking to her "boss" on the phone we were shown to another room with 2 double beds which we took. There was a bench "kitchen" but we were never given dish washing liquid or a tea towel so we couldn't wash the dishes we used. Our bins were never emptied so there was rubbish all around the bins when we left. It seems the motel is going to be demolished and new luxury apartments built so nobody cares anymore. Don't bother staying unless your desperate for somewhere to stay and I guess as we stayed over Easter that's all we could get.

Couldn't hang my clothes or put my suitcase out of the way as cupboard was musty moldy smelly . Room was damp and rhere was no one on site the first days so had to purchase milk and coffee for room. This booking was made in early January for 2 people at as I had stayed previously and thought the place was nice. I feel like i was jammed into the small damp room as an afterthought.

The location was very good but the property was quite run down. Also my daughter left her Bluetooth headphones in the room by accident, I called up after we left and told the lady exactly where they were beside the bed. When we went to pick them up the young girl at reception said she didn't see them and apparently she cleaned the room herself. 🙄 She either didn't look very well or had kept them for herself. Sad that this has been our final impression of the property and because of this we won't be returning or recommending to friends.

We paid for a Delux Queen room and got a horrible smelly disabled room . Very disappointed. As soon as we opened the door the room smelt musty , absolutely very very basic room . Would never recommend!

TV does not work neither does the internet Booked in no receipt given asked to change to lower floor as hip trouble lady at desk said NO had to walk up three flights of stairs. Doors to balcony do noy lock property. Front door sticks had to push hard to close. Only thing close to beach nothing else to recommend the motel.

Our stay here was ideal. Walking distance to beach. Cafe a plenty. Friendly folks & staff. For me, it was basically a tropical resort. Aircon, smart tv, coffee & tea. Big beds with a view. Lewis

This Motel is Ideally situated Walking distance from North Wollongong Beach & Stuart park, The room was clean & tidy, The bed was very comfortable The staff were polite & good to deal with, we enjoyed our stay. its an older style motel however the Convenient location for the price is hard to beat. would definitely stay again the only negative is its getting demolished to make way for an apartment block mid year so enjoy the convenience while its open

Great location , bed very comfy . Possibly with kitchenette we could have had a toaster and plates etc . Otherwise couldn’t fault motel .
