the room was furnished in a Spartan, but still attractive and functional way. I liked staying there a lot!
the fact that there was no breakfast available on site, was a surprise to me (if I had read the info more carefully, I might have known on beforehand)

This was a really interesting and totally unique place to stay, I would definitely stay there again. Very handy for local restaurants and shops. Very helpful manager.

Very stylish. Pension with own atmosphere, based on previous use as an farmacy. Very friendly host.

Simple accomodation, great historic flair within this prior pharmacy.

Love the quirkiness of the building which was built to pre second world war good experience

Check in was easy, the room we had was quite large and had a balcony. Wonderful, friendly service. We could park our bikes in their shed :)
We normally prefer to have the bathroom in the room, but a shared bathroom was ok on this occasion.

Everything was great!

A very quiet location, the room was very big and the bed very comfortable. There is a park nearby where we could take the dog out for a walk. The check-in was very smooth and the host very kind and friendly. We loved the atmosphere in the room and also it was beautiful to know there is so much history of this place. Great experience, I would recommend it!
The bathroom is not in the room, still very clean and good old style. We were lucky as there were not so many customers and most of the rooms were empty, so the access to the bathroom was easy. Still, during more busy times, this could have been an inconvenience.

Old apothecary with lots of historical photos and artifacts inside. It wasn’t some boring old hotel. It’s a very authentic experience and the proprietor told us some good stories of the old days. Comfortable beds and plenty of fresh air in the rooms.
It’s a very old house. Expect creaky floors and a bit of sound from other people. The history of the place more than makes up for it.

Host was very helpful and gave us recommendations for our bike trip and was very knowledgable about the area

The host was amazing, left me the key in the locker inside, helped with any question. Thank you Oliver!
I got the room on the top floor, I dislike stairs, so ...
The building is very old and smells like that, so be prepared.
The location is pretty noisy..
Shared bathroom and toilet...

The hotel, which was an old pharmacy, has a ton of character. While the rooms and facilities might not be the most modern, it was all very charming in a rustic way (and the reason we booked this hotel).
The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Our bikes could also be locked away with no problems.
The value for our stay was fantastic!
Minor things.
Figuring out how to get into the hotel and checking-in was not very clear, but once the owner noticed us, we were very welcomed.
We booked the breakfast. We were not aware that this meant just a coupon for a nearby bakery. The breakfast there was very good and worth the value, but I wish that would've been more clear.

The host gives you a very friendly welcome and for those interested also a lot of historical information about the building that used to be a pharmacy in the past. Photographs on the walls in the rooms show you what is was like then.
If you travel by bicycle you can store your bike overnight in a safe place. In the reception there’s a fridge with soft drinks and beers which you can take anytime on a ‘honesty box payment’ basis. The rooms are nice and there are a couple of restaurants in walking distance on which the host will be happy to advise you.
Shared shower and toilet facilities are basic, but comfortable and clean.
A road is just in front and although there are double windows, a heatwave forced me to keep the windows open at night. I was glad I brought my earplugs, even more so because a group of noisy youths was hanging around nearby (possibly having nowhere else to go because of Corona). And the bed was squeaking a bit.
