About this house rental

Our family home since the 1970s has beautiful hardwood floors and woodwork , open spacious rooms.
The front features a welcoming front veranda with comfortable seating to relax in. A perfect spot for your morning coffee! A set of chairs on each side of the Veranda allows for lots of friends to gather.
The backyard is provides a large spacious fenced in area great for kids and animals. A large deck off the dining room provides a BBQ area, a seating area for relaxing and hanging out and still has space to move around in. Extra stacked seating is also provided. Great for outdoor gatherings.
As you enter the house you are greeted with warmth and charm. Much of the 90 year old architecture has been kept and well maintained. On your left , an updated side room doubles as a mud room/ sitting room. To your right, the living space with large a comfortable sectional, chairs, large wall mounted TV , and fireplace. Next the dining area with dining table, chairs, lots of storage with games and dishes. All the comforts of home. On the right, past the mudroom and stairs, is the large eat in kitchen and pantry.
We all like to hang out in the kitchen, so why not have a couch!! You’ll find it hard to go any where else once you’re in the kitchen.
Also heading out the back door to the deck there is a half bath.
The upstairs has three comfortably sized bedrooms. Well equipped with all basic needs. A large extensive of books is available to you if you forget your favorite at home. One room has two twin beds while the other two rooms have queen size beds. All have a small closet.
A large upstairs bathroom has a separate shower and tub, a washer and dryer and space to move around.
Other amenities provided are dishwasher, BBQ, all your basic kitchen appliances, two flat screen televisions, wifi access and parking for two to three cars.

This property is located in downtown Charlottetown. You can park your car and walk to many dining establishments, shopping or night life. You can also walk to Victoria park with the kids in 5-10 minutes.
If a trip to the beach is on your wish list, you can jump into the car for a quick 20 minute drive to most north shore beaches. There are 2 golf courses located within a 10 minute drive and many courses within a 40 minute drive from our house.

Cute, clean house. Easily walkable to Queen St. and a lot of the activities in Charlottetown. Also walkable to Victoria Park which was lovely. Enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and seeing the different houses. The house was clean and comfortable. The host was quick to reply to any questions we had.

The house was just perfect; beautiful, classic home in a nice quiet neighborhood. The pictures in the ad don’t do justice for this place; it’s spacious, comfortable and felt just like you were at home. The house was very clean and organized both inside and out. The front porch and the back deck were nice to sit on and enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood. Joanne was a great host snd we definitely will return on our next PEI trip. Thanks so much

This house was perfect for us--three adults who needed an in town space that did not require a car. Extremely clean and well stocked with basics like Kleenex and salt. Charlottetown has plenty to see on foot, and for trips to the rest of PEI we hired a guide and driver. The owner was easy to communicate with and very willing to accept our requests. Well equipped kitchen. Outdoor deck is large and an excellent spot for meals. Highly recommend.

We accidentally showed up a day too soon and Joanne was so gracious. Thank God she was able to accommodate us traveling with our dog. So easy to walk into city center. Everywhere we wanted to go we walked. We also was there at the start of hurricane Lee and we needed to leave PEI before storm came. Joanne offered her home if we needed to ride out the storm. Thanks again for understanding

This house is in a perfect location- walking distance to downtown and to the boardwalk/park. It’s also a mile from the grocery store and pharmacy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Our Boston Terrier loved the back yard and we enjoyed the back deck. We took our dog on walks to the park and around the neighborhood. The neighborhood was quiet and people we met were friendly. We highly recommend this rental.

The home was in a wonderful location. Walking distance to downtown and the waterfront. We had lots of room for 5 adults. We loved the fenced in outdoor space for our lab. Easy to communicate with. Also centrally located in the province as we did daily drives to different beaches. We would recommend this place to anyone!!

We had a lovely time at this vacation home (the owner’s family home) and they were wonderful to deal with. Even in the midst of Hurricane Fiona, they graciously provided us with additional rechargeable lighting and shared their generator power with us for the final few days of our vacation as they moved into the basement suite. Excellent location, close to downtown (10 min walk) - would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Very comfy home with a very short walk to the city center with all its restaurants and activities. The kitchen had everything you need as did the rest of the home. A great fenced backyard for our two Corgis to play in. Highly recommended for your stay in Charlottetown.

We were so pleased with our stay. After a 15 hour drive, with our four dogs, we were delighted with the ease of access to the house. The host had let us know everything we needed to know beforehand as we knew we would be arriving late. The home was comfortable, well equipped for our needs, and the dogs loved the fenced backyard!! It was great to spend the days out enjoying our visit to PEI, and be able to return "home" to relax.

This beautiful olde home was perfect for our stay in Charlottetown. We are two sisters who had not met in person in over ten years. With bones like this we had no worries about Hurricane Dorian. Joanne was immediately responsive to all our questions. The driveway is ample for large vehicles. The neighborhood is lovely and in walking distance to all of downtown. We so enjoyed breakfasts in the fully appointed kitchen and late night visits on the cozy sectional. We could see the possibilities for large families with the large kitchen, three bedrooms and modern laundry facilities. The only problem was shortage of time so we hope to find this home available on a future visit.

We had a great time at the Villa on Villa. It's a beautiful old house renovated perfectly. It was great to have a fenced yard (which was much bigger than the pics indicated!) for our dog. Very quiet neighbourhood, yet we were able to walk everywhere downtown and to Victoria Park.
