About this house rental
Are you in need of a temporary home? This fully-furnished contemporary house in Burlington is a perfect alternative to a long term hotel stay. Our ideal guests are companies/individuals working long term projects in the area; corporations needing housing for sales teams, management teams, executive relocations; owners displaced while building or waiting for a home etc. This cottage is a 500 sq ft. masterpiece built on the foundation of a former greenhouse. The exterior is constructed from all repurposed material including rusty tin, barn wood, reclaimed windows and heart of pine wood salvaged from a 150-year- old furniture factory. The interior is 100% modern and includes hardwood floors, ship lap siding, bead board ceiling, tile shower, granite countertops, and SMEG appliances. The ground floor includes the kitchen, den, sleeping quarters with queen size bed and full bath. The spacious loft has a king size bed and seating area with three 3’x6’ windows which provide a magnificent view of the surrounding bamboo forest, creating a very tranquil spot. The location is very private, giving the home an “out in the country” feel, yet it is right in the middle of everything. Convenient to the I-85/l-40 corridor, with shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, movie theaters, and a hospital less than 2 miles away. Elon University is 5 miles away. This one of a kind property must be seen to be believed. Well-behaved dog welcome. No smoking, no cats. Note that this property shares the 10 acre bamboo forest with four other rental houses on a two acre fishing pond.

I really enjoyed my stay while traveling for a work assignment. The house was really cute and the area very peaceful; just what I needed. And the owner's where very nice as well; just a phone call away if needed.

Overall the property was lovely exactly as it stated however it was very hard to find. It was not well marked and there was not good directions to find it. If we had come in in the dark we probably would have missed it. The heat did not work well in the very cold nights that we had when we were there, however my daughter and myself had a lovely time in the tiny house for our weekend.

This “tiny” house was pretty spacious and had everything you need in the well-stocked kitchen. Owners promptly responded to all questions. It was a five-minute drive from I-85, but the property itself was quiet and secluded. Really pretty setting.

Enjoyed the proximity of all the homecoming festivities. And the access to the other properties around the lake. But also great to have our own space tucked away from everything else. Quiet and cozy.

Our mixed group of 4, visited this charming property for 5 days, 4 nights. The tiny house was a nestled retreat for us from the busy activity we were visiting for. The house was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Though a "tiny" house we never felt restricted in space. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely, serene property, perfect for the beautiful spring weather. Would highly recommend for travelers looking for a special escape conviently located near all the bustle and regular conviences.

The tiny house is adorable (and actually not too tiny at all). It is beautifully built and tucked away in a quiet bamboo forest, part of a larger peaceful property with a pond and gardens. It is stocked with everything you need. Owners were great! Very close to anything you need. Recommend Tangent Bar+Eat and Mediterranean Deli for food and Cedar Rock Park for fun!

I love this place! Outside you’re surrounded by towering bamboo, beautiful Japanese maples, and an overall beautiful landscape to enjoy. The house itself is a gem! I love the walk-in shower, and beds are very comfy. Plenty of linens and also a unique layout. The upstairs bedroom windows look out on the scenic view. The kitchen is adorable, matching appliances, and all the cooking essentials you could ever need.If you need n escape, this place is for you!
