Nice Stay
10.0
We enjoyed our stay so much as always. The rooms were clean and spacious. My toddler had plenty of space to run around and nothing to break in his reach. The porch/deck had a WONDERFUL view. And the kids and the adults all enjoyed the options for waterparks. We can't wait for our next stay!

We had a great time staying here for a girls trip for young adults. The location was amazing and the resort had so many amenities that worked perfect for all our needs. The rooms were very clean and perfect for our needs!

Kids had a great time! We packed our own food, and went at a slower time of the year. Thank you!

Everything went well and property was good. The resort is nice too - been coming for years. Downside during slow season is only certain parks are open on certain days so you have to plan accordingly. Sure get in over 10,000 steps per day so that's a plus :) Only negative is the furniture is not comfortable. The sofa is stiff and the side chairs are stiff and upright - cannot get comfortable, however, I would definitely rent again and since we drive, I would bring a couple pillows for the sofa and chairs so make them more comfortable.

The resort is huge and has a lot to do. We’ve been there many times and it’s always great! Our room was clean and had all the basics we needed. The only negative was our upstairs neighbors who partied all night and what felt like jumping throughout the entire night. Had trouble sleeping due to that. It would literally wake us up. Besides that, everything else was amazing!

It was a great experience overall. Check-in, the room, and the water park access were all great! We plan to go back.

This was the perfect accommodation for our extended weekend getaway for our family of five!

It was just a great quiet stay we enjoyed it so much. The only complaint is the music in swim areas was way to loud we couldnt even talk.

We came up for a brief family get away in October. The property is huge and there is so much to do! We enjoyed the indoor waterparks, the arcades, go carts, Take Flight, and Escape Room. Great variety for all ages! The only complaint aboutt the room is the door to the master bedroom had a problem with the hinge and made a loud knocking sound when opened/closed. Food and beverages were readily available with many options. I will say the food and attractions were a little pricey but nice to have so many options nearby. Would definitely recommend going in the fall, much smaller crowds! Be prepared to do a lot of walking and/or drive to the different parts of the complex because it is so big! They do offer a shuttle but we either walked or drove ourselves as parking was conveniently close due to resort not being overly crowded. Will to recommend to friends.

It was a very nice time ! We enjoyed using the waterparks and it was close to the property.

Wonderful room. Great location. Many amenities. Rooms were larger than the pictures portrayed. Great space. If we vacation in the Dells again, I would definitely rebook with this listing.

We had a good stay. We've been here many times and this time was just as good as the others. Everything was clean and check in was fast. Disappointed that the new indoor park was closed even though it was supposed to be open when I made the reservation.

We had a wonderful time at our stay in the Dells! It was a great deal for the 8 of us to swim and stay!! We packed a cooler for meals, so saved money that way as well. Very pleased!!

We all had a great time. Besides the rude customer service at the go carts at the wilderness main lobby.

We love this place and stay every year! Great accommodations for our family of 6. Awesome to have separate spaces for parents/kids, and a kitchen to save on meals out. Thank you!

We loved the layout, the amenities and size! Water pressure was very good, too. Parking was plentiful, staff was friendly.

Check in process was complicated and check out time per the property is 10 am, not 11 am like on the listing. Otherwise, clean property at a good price.

There was a breakdown in clear communication about this reservation. The name was accurate on the reservation, as asked, but because I also had a reservation for another room with my name on it at this same property, they would not let me check in without changing the name to someone else in our party. I put my name on both reservations because I paid for them. I had to pay $99 for the name change & we had to wait in our van & then the other room, with my son who is disabled & uses a wheelchair, for over 2 hours before getting the name changed so that we could check into our room. If I had known this would be a problem, I would have put a separate name on each reservation but I was not made aware of this during the reservation process. The individuals at the desk for check-in were not very kind or helpful with any of this. They made the owner of the property sound like it was their fault for listing the room on VRBO inaccurately & did not talk very highly of this method of making a reservations. They kept blaming & talking negatively about the owner of this room. It was a very confusing process to me because I assumed all of these entities work together as part of the Wyndham property. I do not think we will ever use this process again. By the time we checked into our room there was no time to enjoy the water park & we were exhausted from the confusion of the check-in process. We are not asking for pity but there are a lot of details in helping a person with special needs. We did not anticipate having any issues like this after reserving & paying for a room for 2 nights. Thankfully we had reserved 2 nights so were able to enjoy the next day at the water park. If we had only reserved one night the anxiety & chaos of check- in would not have made the trip worth it. The room was as described on the listing.

Overall we had another really fun stay. Disappointed how prices increase so much each time throughout the resort. Overall our place was nice but found garbage in several corners if the room, and it could use a bit of a deeper clean with dusting and vacuuming and scrubbing floors more than just the center of the room. Did forget to tell desk that only one side of toaster is working. Hotel very responsive to bringing us needed items while we were making our meals such as missing larger pot (had lid), spatula for pancakes and a juice pitcher. Hotel staff were great and communication was clear. Our grandchildren had a lot of fun again.

We start at this property every year and we love it! A full kitchen helps keep our food costs low. I might suggest a couple cookie sheets in the kitchen but other than that this condo is perfect!

Obviously staying in the wyndham part of the resort is the much better option. But I was unfortunately disappointed with the cleanliness. The master shower was filled with mold that I could have scraped off with my finger. The master bath looked as if it hadn’t been detailed in over a year. Dust and grime…. The second bath was also poorly maintained. There was dirt & left over candy on the floor. someone’s hair tie and a layer of dust on the mantle. The dishwasher was broken and my husband had to fix it before it would work.
As far as the resort is concerned, I didn’t see a single person cleaning a single thing the entire time. During these COVID times, that was quite upsetting.
We will definitely stay in these resort share rooms in the future, but for the price- I wish they were cleaner.

The condo was clean, roomy and exactly as we expected it to be! We traveled with our two small children, 3 &1. Location on the Wilderness campus was convenient. There are so many things to do here. This time we tried Cubby's Cove the indoor waterpark located at Wilderness on the Lake, the only waterpark not within walking distance. We were happy we tried it, because it's our new favorite. Warm air/water, private family bathroom with a shower, and a mini-waterslide that our 3 year old could handle alone. This was ideal for our family with little kids, but the teenagers would probably get bored.

We had a wonderful stay, the condo was just what we were looking for, and staff were super accommodating. Would recommend!

Been vacationing at the dells for over 20 years. Stayed at almost every other competitor resort in the area, The Wilderness , Glacier Canyon has been our family’s preferred spot for a number of years now. The price and location is hard to beat, the property was just as expected. Besides a couple food crumbs, and the hour late check-in, everything was good. The property is good and recommended.

I'd be giving it 5 stars but the room is a bit dated and beat up... We have stayed a few times at Glacier Canyon and this was one of our rougher rooms we have stayed in. On a positive note it was clean and still a very nice stay for us. We would be happy to book again with them.
