Our family recently stayed in this apartment and, we thought it was great. It is within walking distance of the Acropolis and Ancient Agora. Chris was a wonderful host! We had a tiny issue with the hot water, but Chris was responsive and had it fixed within hours. Amazing! There are many great restaurants close to the apartment and the coffee shop across the street is handy - good for coffee, treats, and to store your luggage!

Amazing apartment and great location. We absolutely had an incredible time in Athens and staying in this apartment was such an important part of that for our family. Thank you!

Convenient location. Comfortable accommodation. Easy walk to Acropolis
Owners very easy to communicate with. Would suggest more clear instructions from host on the manouver needed to open the apt door with the key. Would recommend this rental.

Communication with the host was easy and he offered impressive detail. The location is perfect, you are close to the markets, restaurants, bus/metro and tourist sites.
Walking was simple, the locals are always willing to help if you need assistance.

Great condo walking distance to many restaurants, bars, Acropolis and Plaka.

We were visiting Greece for my son's graduation. Having two tall now adult boys it was difficult to find a unit with 4 beds. Chris & Zeta have the ultimate setup in that they have four single beds which together make a king bed or apart makes two twins which maxamizes not only the occupancy, but the versatility of their clients. Additionally, they have well working A/C in all three rooms which I did not find at any other hotel or vrbo during our stay on the islands following. Love the look and thoughtfullness of what they provide. Would stay there again.

The place was clean, comfortable, and in a good location. The hosts were very communicative and helpful!

The place was exactly as expected. Great location we were able to walk everywhere. Chris also allowed us to store our baggage at their coffee shop while we went on a tour for a small fee. The house was clean and very comfortable

We enjoyed a four day stay in Athens and Chris made it flawless. He arranged someone to pick us up at the ferry and at the end bring us back to the airport. The communication was easy and he was very responsive. The apartment was very clean and the building very quiet. We were able to walk to most places and the hip on and hip off bus took us the rest of the way. Delightful restaurants I. The area as well as wonderful bakeries. The only thing and it is very minuet is there was no laundry soap to go with the washer and we had no idea what would be needed. So not able to use the machine. Other than that it was a perfect stay!!!

My family and I were very pleased with our stay. The location was convenient and close to all the major attractions. Coffee Central, the coffee shop across the street, quickly became our favorite. The property was clean and Chris was extremely helpful and responsive. We would highly recommend this stay!

The hosts were wonderful! They coordinated transfers for us from airport to apartment and then from apartment to cruise port. Very friendly! Also runs a yummy coffee shop across the street from apartment. We enjoyed breakfast there both mornings. Location is close to Acropolis and other sites! This was the perfect place to stay!

Nice place in close proximity to Acropolis. Only negative is loud street traffic all night long.

We couldn't have been happier with our accommodations while visiting Athens. We absolutely loved the apartment and the Koukaki neighborhood is wonderful location with several restaurants and grocery stores just steps away. The apartment itself was super cozy, comfortable beds, nice kitchen and loved the air conditioner.
You are only a 5 to 7 minute walk to the Acropolis/Plaka area. The Athens Metro red line ( Syngrouo Fix station) is only a few minute walk and super easy to use. This line will take you to Syntagma and Omonia.
Chris and Zeta have a nice coffee shop (Coffee Central) just across the street which we found to be a wonderful place to grab a great cup of coffee and breakfast roll to start the day.
A couple of additional mentions: Django Gelato is fabulous and just a couple blocks down on the same street. And for pizza, Romatella - Pizza al Taglio, is just a few minutes walk and is super good.
Should also mention that working with Chris was super easy. He was very accomodating, easy to worth with and helped us book a Taxi to and from the airport.
All in all our stay in Athens was an incredible experience thanks to having such a wonderful place for us to lay our head each night.

The main reason to stay is to allow Chris and Zeta to make your visit easy and safe. They are wonderful: responsive, friendly, and helpful. From the time of making the reservation to the time of departure, Chris and Zeta enabled us to really enjoy our stay.
The apartment is located in a vibrant neighborhood, and the neighborhood improved substantially since we first visited in 2018. There are a few new restaurants nearby, and still are several fine bars located only a short walk away. The grocery store across the street from the apartment has redesigned its lineup of products so as to now offer a wider range of fresh fruits and vegetables, alongside the excellent assortment of oils and specialty products from various regions in Greece. (Most suppliers continue to be organic and biodynamic.) Mani Mani (MANHMANH) continues to be excellent (and reservations are highly advisable). There are a handful of caffè bars in the surrounding blocks.

The apartment was great. Location was pefect, clean and well appointed - I wish we could have stayed longer.
Chris was very helpful in providing directions and setting up airport transfer. Thank you so much for all your assistance!
Would definite book again!

This apartment was only four blocks away from the Acropolis and an easy walk to the Plaka. We enjoyed dining at several of the restaurants within a block and a half of the apartment.
Chris kindly made arrangements for a taxis from the airport to the apartment for us and on checkout let us, for a nominal fee, store our luggage at his place of business. Chris replied quickly to all our inquiries.

Chris and Zeta was great. There coffee shop was convenient. There is also a big pastry shop 2 minutes away. This is very central to the Acropolis area. This place is a no brainer.

The apartment was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Chris and Zeta were so accommodating. We had a small issue with a bathroom leak and they had it fixed quickly without disrupting our stay in Athens. They own the coffee shop right across the street and Zeta makes the best bougatsa!!! It was so easy to get to the subway and the restaurants they recommended were great. They certainly are super hosts!! Thanks, Chris and Zeta!! You made our stay in Athens a real joy!! Hope to spend more time in your apartment and in Athens!!! Se you again soon!!!

We were only there for one night, but the location was awesome for walking in the city easily. It was safe, apartment was clean, easy to enter, easy to contact the owner before our arrival. It wouldn’t have bothered me to stay more than 1 night in that apartment!

We spent 2 great days at Chris’s place.
The location is perfect just a few minutes walk from the Plaka and Acropolis park.
The flat was just what we needed, clean, good size rooms and living room and very appreciated air conditioning in this period of high temperatures. We did not meet Chris but he was very reactive and all instructions and recommendations were crystal clear. We recommend this place with no hesitation!

I was travelling with my daughters 13 and 16, this place was perfect. It was clean, close to attractions, restaurants, shops, metro stations, quiet location, etc. We didn’t use the kitchen very much but it had everything we needed.
My 16yr old got a little too much sun and needed a break, I felt comfortable leaving her in the apartment for a few hrs on her own, the apartment and neighbourhood felt very safe.
Our hosts were very responsive, answered all our questions. Organized a taxi for us at the airport and gave us information on how to use the metro. Use the metro, it was easy and well organized, people are there to help you. We took it to Piraeus and ferry hopped to a couple of islands.
Overall our stay was excellent thank you Chris and Zeta💕

This apartment is perfect for a family of 4, clean, comfortable, and very close to the Acropolis and everything you want to visit in the area. Communications with Chris were very efficient, and since he works with his wife at the nice cafe right in front on the other side of the street, they are available to answer any question or problem. We loved this neighborhood so much that two weeks later, we decided to shorten our stay in Santorini (way too crowded and expensive) to come back in this area and visit some more. People say that 3 days in Athens are enough : if you like culture, museums, nice restaurants and nice people, 3 days are definitely not enough! And if Chris' apartment is available, jump on it!

The property was decent. There wasn’t much in the kitchen to work with and when we arrived the kitchen garbage had not been emptied. We were greeted by our host across the street at a coffee shop he and his wife own. Instead of showing us how to access the keypad that contained the keys and then walk us to ours place, he just pointed and gave some brief directions. Furthermore, we had to cancel our walking food tour that ended at 5:30 because the coffee shop his wife owned that could house our luggage closed at 5pm. Also, we were charged 4 euro per luggage item to store at his wife’s coffee shop while we waited for our ferry to Naxos. The most hospitable person was the taxi driver who was arranged for us who even made a special call to the baggage claim at the Athens airport to have my delayed luggage sent to our next stop in Naxos. I appreciated that extra step and service.
Overall, the accommodations were comfortable, just hoped for a more gracious host.

This fit our needs perfectly. Two bedrooms are decent size and the living room is adequate. Kitchen is small but functional. The location is great just a quick walk to the restaurant street and then just past that to Ancient Greece.
Check in was very easy with no problems. Communication with the host was quick and accurate. If back in Athens would stay there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment! Host was very responsive and flexible with check-in times. The apartment was within walking distance of the Acropolis and great restaurants.

This is a very cozy, clean apartment. We easily walked to the Acropolis (side entrance- 10min walk), Hadrian's Gate, the stadium, and several other neighborhoods. The Plaka shopping district is a close walk, as well the Monastiraki district. If you have rented a car, keep in mind that parking anywhere downtown is a challenge. Curb parking is customary. Our first spot was 2km from the apartment, though we did eventually find a public garage open only the two blocks from the apartment on the same street for a fee. We were looking for a place close to the sites, in a safe area. This checked the boxes.

The process was easy, clear an the place was extra clean. The area is just a short walk from the action in a very good neighbourhood.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It's modern, comfortable, clean, and in a good location (10 minute walk to the Acropolis). There are two small grocery stores, several pastry/dessert shops, good restaurants and two nice local delis within a few blocks. And the Greek people are some of the nicest we've encountered anywhere! Very friendly and helpful.
Chris and Zeta were quick to respond to questions and had some good recommendations for local cuisine.
**A few helpful notes to travelers. First, many places don't allow you to flush toilet paper...so you'll have a small lined trash can where your paper goes. A little weird for Americans, but very easy to get used to (and No, no issues with smell). Second, Greeks don't expect you to speak any Greek, but they all smiled when we tried. So learn a little and use it. Third, the unit has a combined washer and dryer, but you'll need to purchase soap. Also, most cottons will come out still damp so be sure you leave some extra time to hang things and let them dry. Fourth, we only received one key and card (used to turn on electricity in the unit). Not sure if a second set is available, but if you have people coming and going at different times, be sure and ask about this in advance. Lastly, if going to the Acropolis on your own, buy tickets in advance and go early. Lines are long and crowds are big most of the day.**
The only small thing we missed in the unit were wine glasses with stems, but certainly not a big deal.
