We really enjoyed our stay at Oyster Rake. We actually liked the location being closer to the entrance so easy in and out access. We had several dinners at the various clubs. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Very spacious. Would have been amazing to have access to the Night Heron pool , but we made it work with lots and lots of fun bike rides.
Thank you ! We had a fun, long Easter weekend !

Except for the propane tank running out of propane, our stay was fine. Excellant location.

My family and I stayed in this home the week following Easter Sunday. This is a very beautiful home but we did incur some issues that left us a bit disappointed. When we arrived, there had been a family there prior and the kitchen was not not adequately cleaned. The floors were soiled from spills and minor trash. There was an air filter in the kitchen that appeared to have not been changed since last year and was layered with dust. Management did have someone come to address these issues, but we ended up doing some of the cleaning ourselves. We were not able to enjoy the outdoor area due to the pollen (which was in no way their fault). The screened porch, adjoining windows and front porch were riddled with spiderwebs so we were a little uncomfortable with sitting out. We were told by the cleaner that they were only responsible for indoor cleaning, but he attempted to clear some of the webs. I would certainly recommend replacing some of the pots and pans as they were burnt and looked aged.
Although, we had these issues as I noted it is a beautiful home and we enjoyed it as it is in a quiet neighborhood and the beach is quite close by car. We just wished they had made a better effort to address these cleaning issues prior to our arrival.

Our family of 6 really enjoyed the home. It is comfortable, well appointed and a lot of space to gather. Location is great for bike riding to the beach or to Fresh Fields Market. Would definitely consider renting again. Just a reminder that you need to bring your own beach towels!

We pre-gamed Christmas with friends and family. There were 7 of us and we never felt on tip of each other. The house was spacious, yet cozy. We would definitely come back to 548!

Great house in wonderful location on the island.

We highly recommend this home. It is midway between The Sanctuary and Freshfields. The kitchen is spacious and open to the dining and living areas and it had everything we needed to cook and grill, including a 6 burner gas stove and Weber grill. We biked to Freshfields, The Sanctuary, and The Ocean Course. We comfortably watched football on the big screen TV and played cards and ate meals at the dining table. The back porches are completely private and comfortable for morning coffee and evening wine. Our only concern we had was that we couldn't tell when the propane was turned off (the knob kept turning).

Beautiful house, really enjoyed the screened-in porch, near the front of Kiawah so very convenient.

This house is impeccably designed and decorated. It is clean and spacious - a very relaxing and luxurious vacation home!

Very clean and spacious. Bedrooms spread out so everyone had their privacy. Master downstairs and three upstairs. Never rented a home where gas grill was so clean and hooked up to natural gas. Living area open and spacious, as was the kitchen. Was there in February so really did not go to Beach so do not know how long of a walk or bike ride. Nice view of marsh from deck and screen porch. Had Google music to play. Did enjoy that. Great three day visit with family..
