4 day trip with 11 adults from Ohio. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Large dining area had ample room. Large Kitchen was great to cook for all of us. 2 fridges was a necessity we didn’t know we needed. Momma bear and 3 cubs would entertain us below the back decks almost every morning. And on that note, I must add that it was almost depressing to see this beautiful momma bear just sit right below us staring up at us waiting for us to drop food to her. She wasn’t scared of us, and had no issues just sitting there staring up at us for quite some time. Please people, DO NOT FEED THE BEARS!!!!!
Alright so here’s the issues we had with the cabin. One of the hot tubs didn’t work, and next to the hot tub was the disconnect box opened up with exposed contact points, a child could have easily stuck their fingers in there and gotten severely hurt. There is no wifi, which is stated in the listing, but easy to overlook, so be aware. Multiple bathrooms had sliding glass shower doors that were off their tracks, one of which fell into the tub on one of our guests while they were showering. The bunk beds were not sturdy at all. Theater room is basically useless the way it’s set up. Air hockey has no air pressure and the pucks look like they’ve been eaten by dogs. The game room is tight if you’re trying to play pool.
House seemed clean for the most part but there was a lot of trash behind the cabin.
DO NOT FEED THE BEARS!!
PICKUP YOUR TRASH!!
Overall the property was Okay.

The property was beautiful and amenities were great. Of course, we did lots of hiking and doing many activities. We did have an uninvited guest on our first night- a black bear who just made himself at home on our deck!!! The kids, were excited and the bear did eventually leave. All-in-all, I would definitely revisit in the future. Ir was a great place for a family vacation!!!

The cabin was ok but it would have been awesome if the theater worked, hot tubs were filled, and proper maintenance and cleaning would have been done prior to our arrival.

We rented this space for our group that attended Winterfest in downtown Gatlinburg. It was close enough to town yet far enough away to appreciate the beauty of the Smokies. We had plenty of space for our group to eat and our cabin parents were pleased with the size and function of the kitchen.
You should definitely check this place out.

The cabin is bit dated but that is not necessarily a bad thing. A few items weren't working upon arrival (theater room, no power in one room, one hot tub) so we were initially upset as one should be. However that being said the maintenance person had those resolved within a day,. The cabin does have a few other issues such as one of fridges leaks water, one dishwasher doesn't work very well, air hockey needs replaced as the air pressure is gone. The biggest issue to us was lack of WiFi at the property, luckily we brought a hot spot and a fire stick so we made it work. The owners really need to modernize the cabin a bit, add smart TV's all around with WiFi built in, and get rid of the DVD players (no one uses DVDs anymore) If you plan on using the theater room bring a female/female HDMI coupler, that way you can use your firestick rather then the DVD player in that room. The location is very near downtown Gatlinburg, which was the primary reason we selected it. Oh and the rocking chairs on the deck need replaced, they are in bad shape. All in All we did enjoy our stay and might stay at this resort again, just not in this cabin.

We stood at the Parkview Palace and upon arrival I thought the cabin had Wi-Fi internet but when we got there on the fridge it said that the cabin didn’t have internet. If it’s not an amenity it needs to be removed. Also, there was a lot broken or not working, such as tvs not having remotes, or tvs not working at all, lights not having light bulbs in them or they were burnt out, the AC filter on the top level was disgusting, the lights by the hot tubs broken, the theater room not working, the ceiling leaking into the bottom floor, blinds broken, air hockey held together by tape. The carpet was filthy on the stairs when we arrived. On Thanksgiving morning we were preparing our dinner and a rat ran across the floor, we also saw roaches as well. The front porch needs more light it’s most definitely a safety hazard because you can’t see walking down the stairs at night. Our first full day we were getting ready to leave, we have 5 vehicles and all in the parking area were nails and screws. My family and I picked up about 40 of them, when construction happens it needs to be throughly picked up when done, someone could’ve gotten a flat tire. I called several times in regards to what I have typed above and the maintenance guy came but only did a few things and ignored the rest. I was told that some of it wasn’t an emergency. I was very upset because it was my family’s Thanksgiving in the mountains and when I pulled up lot was broken, for the price we paid it should’ve been immaculate. Overall we made the best of it, the views were nice and we enjoyed being close to town.

The cabin was very nice and roomy for our big group of family. The views were beautiful! There were a few minor issues that we encountered (the heat/thermostat was not working on the lower level, one of the bunk bed on the lower level was not stable, and the movie theater room was not working), but overall we had a wonderful stay.

When I initially booked house, I looked at the reviews about bugs and games not working in the house, but I assumed that theses thinks would have been taken care of. I booked this house d/ t the games and the pool. The pool never opened. 1/4 games worked. We were there fior a 3 night stay and we made at least 6 calls for maintenance. 1. The circuits blew in the kitchen so we could not cook, the air was not working that had to be fixed, there were roaches in the kitchen twice as we tried to prepaid food, there are not enoug towels and face rags fir everyone. I really don’t want to wash these items while on vacation. The grill is not big enough fir a house tgat holds 28 people. Although the staff was nice that was a lot to deal with for a 3 night stay. I will not stay here again. Too me it’s very expensive for that you really get and have to endure.

We had a group of 20 stay for the weekend and had a great time. There were so many beds and entertainment options. We loved the three large dining tables that could hold our whole group. Thank you!

The property and view was very nice and pleasant and close to town however the soaking tub in the bedroom on the main floor had to be cleaned before using it due to hair left in it. Also the theater room was unable to be used do to the equipment not working also there were several loose stairs on all of the outside stair cases as well as several loose spindles on the balconies and staircases as well

My family of 10 totally enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg at the Parkview Palace. My grandchildren, ages 5, 7, 9, 11, called it the Adventure House. They ran and played tag on the 3 porches, up, down the stairs and no injuries, the hot tubs, with adult supervision, the games on 3rd floor, pool table and air hockey in the basement, where the two oldest were so excited to have bedrooms of their own. We were able to have Easter Dinner on the very adequate number of tables available, we played Skip-Bo every night and laughed and had a great time and I was able to set up a puzzle on one table for everyone to work on throughout the week.
The movie theater, which is shown as the first 2 pictures on the website and which my grandchildren were very excited about, is not workable, but my son-in-law, was able to stream from a computer and a hotspot device, none of which I understand, and the kids were able to have movies. The internet was almost non-existent, and made on-line ticket purchases impossible, however we worked around it.
There were a couple of maintenance calls and I’ll admit I was impressed at the immediate response.
We had a great time, loved coming back to the relative peace and quiet (4 young kids remember), of the house after a visit to the aquarium, downtown, Hillbilly Golf, Smoky Mountain park drives and hikes. Thank you for providing such a great place to enjoy.

The cabin was great. Huge. Arcade games, pool and air hockey were fun. Hot tubs were great. On the negative side, the receiver for the theatre room didn't appear to work. Never was able to get the movie to work. Since we were trying to watch the movie our last night the business office was closed so we couldn't get that fixed. Also on a minor note there is no can opener. Overall the cabin worked great for a big group and the view was awesome.
