About this house rental
This detached country house is set in 300 acres of farmland and is a working sheep and cattle farm. It is located at the end of a private driveway and dates back to the 17th century with later extensions offering a more modern living space. The house offers great space for family groups or friends looking to enjoy a weekend away in the Sussex countryside. It has been set up with lots of space for entertaining children and young adults. Enclosed air source heated (May-October) pool, it is governed by an air source heat pump and it is usually comfortably warm from May to the end of October. open all year just outside conservatory with graduated entry for children, along with a sauna, fulled sized tennis table and a small football table. The views from the house and garden are stunning, reaching as far as the South Downs. There is walking from the doorstep with lots of attractions in the local area including castles and historic houses, gardens and local pubs.

Pets: 2 pets accepted at this property but must be kept on a lead when outside due to the nature of the farm and 2 unfenced ponds

Beds: 4 king-size beds, 1 double, 3 single beds, 1 day bed (suitable for a child)
Luxuries: 2 bluetooth Hi-Fi systems and a CD player. 4 smart T.V.'s
General: Oil central heating, inglenook with large container of wood to get you started (further supplies can be easily purchased from the farmer)
Utilities: 2 large fridges, dishwasher, 2 kettles, coffee machine, microwave, oil fired 4 oven Aga and Belling triple oven Range, 2 washing machines, 2 dryers. Note: The Aga is turned off in summer months unless requested to be in use.
Standard: Kettle, toaster, iron
Other: Bed linen and towels provided. Wi-Fi with boosters available
Outdoors: South facing terraced area near the pool with plenty of garden furniture; 10 sun loungers and a charcoal barbeque. Outside table tennis in the open garage - which can be moved outside to catch the evening sun.
Parking: Plenty of parking by house
Notes: Plenty of space for storage of own bicycles. There are two stair gates in place. If Hall Room dining is required for a special occasion, please let the owner know in advance
