Property had plenty of room for family to spread out when needed but come together in the large living room and dining room. Enjoyed the pool area with hot tub, secured by a separate fence to keep little ones safe. Built in outdoor grill was also a nice feature. This is a 1932 vintage historical house but functional, obvious that the owner is investing in the property to make it even better.

My extended family and I stayed at the Gable House when we came to Tucson for a memorial service for my older brother. It could not have been a nicer place to stay - lots of privacy, lovely outdoor patios and a beautiful interior. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds are very comfortable and the entire ambience is wonderful. We will come again!!

We liked staying here. The house is about 90 years old so some parts are not in tip top shape, but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. There was nice outdoor furniture. We appreciated having the washer and dryer.

The house has so much character and a phenomenal backyard with tons of different seating arrangements. Our trip was a break from the Midwest ice and snow, so this was heaven.

I found the Gable House when I was looking for a place for 7 family members to stay for my mom's memorial service. The house was perfect for our needs. All of us were from out of town. Two family members flew in from LA and another 2 from Illinois. Because of the timing of their flights, we asked the owner if we could check in early at 2:00. He was very gracious and allowed us to do. I will always treasure the memories of having the opportunity to gather with my family in this beautiful, historic, and spacious home. Having 3 bathrooms was an added plus!

Very pretty place. Beautiful huge window with Christmas tree in front of it-perfect. Comfortable good sized bedrooms. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and using the grill. Nice back patio to sit and talk, with fun fire pit. Large dining arra for us all to eat at the table together.

We rented the house because my sister was getting married in Tucson. The old-time glamour plus Mexican hacienda vibe were a perfect setting for a home base. Beautifully appointed, the pictures do not do it justice. Much larger than I expected. LOVE all the sets of doors opening out into the patio. We were able to prep all the flowers and bouquets for the wedding while feeling like we were at a resort. The neighborhood is circular and the Gable House is a spectacular centerpiece. The yard does back up against the neighbors' houses and you can occasionally hear their conversations but not a big deal at all. Lots of privacy. There is a gas firepit we didn't have time to use. Beautiful setting for pre-wedding photos and to relax the day after. It's a WOW kind of house!
