Natural Wood- This house is all you were looking for , a walk in the woods among the peace and beauty of the freshly fallen snow or the fragrant scent of the blooming Jeffrey pines. Natural Wood is a gorgeous vacation home in a perfect location. Centrally located in Tahoe Vista, between Tahoe City and Kings Beach, and backing up to the gorgeous National Forest, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy all aspects of Lake Tahoe simultaneously. Beach access is just minutes away while the mountains are truly in your backyard. The interior is equally ideal. The main great room boasts an open floor plan with upscale furnishings, large windows and vaulted ceilings. Enjoy conversing with the chef while the grandparents play cards at the dining table and let the kids romp around downstairs while the adults relax on the top deck amid the numerous trees and wildflowers. We’re familiar with the Truckee area and we’re looking for something close to Northstar that would house our extended family with grandparents and small children. This fit the bill perfectly. The place was exactly as advertised and perhaps looks nicer in person than in the pictures. Hosts were extremely communicative and helpful, would stay here again in the future!

The house is very spacious and well equipped. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. Plenty of room for two families with kids. We plan to stay again.

Love the layout, stove, beds, hot tub, square footage! We stayed here last year for a week as well and we love it! Being a little bit picky but it drove us all a little crazy all week and became a running joke that the upstairs living room rug was just bad quality and would roll fuzz balls all over that would cling to your clothes, socks, our kids toys etc. The downstairs bedroom across from the bunk room has a turquoise dresser that needs to be replaced. I remember the same thing last year as well and was surprised the dresser was still there but i like to unpack and not live out of a suitcase for a week. When we would open the drawer, all the drawers would open and the whole thing would fall forward.

Enjoyed our stay very much, beds were comfy and space was great for myltiple families. Bathrooms were clean and lots of towels! Could have used a few additional minutes of vacuuming prior to our arrival but we were able to make a quick pass with the vacuum in the closet. Hot tub was a huge plus.

Open concept upstairs with primary and full bath and an additional half bath. Downstairs has an additional small living room and 3 additional bedrooms with a full bath. House it's great for a group and kids. House could use a deep clean but was clean overall. When we arrived it wasn't clean from previous renters but Luxe quickly sent cleaners and credit for dinner which was appreciated. We have a great time and would go back to the cabin again.

Great location and layout for family. Owner could upgrade on the bed linens/pillows as the primary bedroom was very basic and not very comfortable. Grill worked but missing the handle that opens the grill. Overall nice property just needs a few things upgraded and/or fixed.

This was a great house. Plenty of room. Perfect sleeping accomodations for our family. Great big area to hang out in. The deck was fabulous. Great location! We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

The property was beautiful, but it was not very clean. there was a lot of dirt on the floors. We took off our shoes in the house, as we always do, and kept stepping on soil and dirt. We had to sweep the entire floor our first night there. I would like to see if we can get some of our cleaning money back please. Otherwise everything else was fine.

There are not many places that can host a large group in the comfort and style that we found here. The proximity to skiing, casinos, and other activities was wonderful, while at the same time the house had a perfect secluded cabin feeling. If you're lucky enough to stay here, you'll be happy you did.

This house was great and had plenty of room and perfect for a large family! Awesome big kitchen with great dinning table. Plenty of beds and separate space for the kids to hang-out downstairs. No cell service in this area so we had to rely on facetime calling and wifi!

This is such an amazing home to stay in for a family vacation! We had 5 adults and a dog…there was so much space and easy to get to skiing and shopping! We will definitely stay here again. The house was spacious and clean. There was an issue with the dryer and some minor repairs needed, but those are all fixable and did not interfere with our fun!

The house was beautiful, but to be completely honest there were some issues. Checkin was at 3pm however the house cleaners didn't leave until 4:30pm. After traveling 12 hours all day, with kids, this was probably the most frustrating thing. With that, there were just a bunch of little things that were frustrating. No hand towels to dry your hands, no hand soap in master bathroom or kitchen, no tv remote in the living room to watch tv, only 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom (we had 10 people there for 3 days). The breaker for the living room kept tripping which meant lights turning off, the tv turning off, and the heater not working. The Wi-Fi wasn't working when we got there and we had to call to get that fixed. Just a lot of things. Nothing major, but when you pay almost $4,000 for 3 days, you would hope it had these things figured out. That said, the house was cozy, the view was beautiful, and we made the best of it. The host was communicative, quick to respond and kind. I definitely would recommend this house if the cleaners can stock it, and be out on time.

We had a great time! The cabin was nice, clean, and there was plenty of room for our family to all hang out. The hot tub was great too! The only improvement that I would suggest would be a gas fire pit or some heaters on the deck. Without heat, it is just too cold to hang out on the awesome deck at night.

The house size, layout and design is great. Perfect for what we where looking for. Great kitchen with many appliances and 'gear' to cook with friends and family. Gap to a 5 star ratting are smaller elements, some within your control. Some Equipment in the kitchen didn't work. There were alternatives. But then why not either repair or take out? Some items in the kitchen were dirty. For instance the stove coffee cooker still had coffee in there. We had to clean and boil it out. The dishwasher does not clean well. Often we had to manually wash. Not sure if that is the machine or the detergent provided. Out of your control are the parties in the neighboring houses. A few nights where a too loud. That spoils a bit the otherwise great experience.

We were lucky enough to spend two weeks in this amazing property. The house itself was quite lovely and very comfortable. In fact, my wife wanted to steal the couches when we left (but we didn't!!!!). The location is darn near perfect if you like to hike or bike - there are literally trails that start both immediately in front of and behind the cabin that can go for miles; my children and I enjoyed multiple hikes per day. The only caution I would have regarding the property is that the Verizon cellular service is very poor at this location. AT&T is fine, but VZW is not available. This wasn't a big problem at the house as it does have satellite internet but can make phone calls difficult if you are relying on a VZW phone. However, the property is well worth the disconnect! Also, we found the property managers to be responsive and extremely helpful. Would love returning in the future.

We had to come to tahoe for our family vacation this year after all our friends had travelled here recently. This area is so gorgeous and the air is so clean!! The property was well maintained, the hot-tub was cleaning beds were clean/comfortable. We had so much fun here, we recommend to any family. Great choice and customer service is great also.

We absolutely love this property. We have used luxevaca in the passed and having more options to pick from is always nice. We had the best time here the kids and grandparents really enjoyed the spa. Great location we have no regrets we look forward to our next vacation in beautiful Lake Tahoe.
