About this house rental

Welcome to your urban sanctuary. This beautiful home is located in a central neighbourhood which is close to popular shops, restaurants, walking/jogging/biking trails, and parks but yet located in a quiet family friendly area. During the day drive approximately 5 min to Whyte Ave and enjoy boutique shops, restaurants, and salons. Don’t want to drive, walk to the popular Ritchie neighbourhood where you can find the popular Biera, and Blue Chair restaurants, Gluten free bakery, boutique ice-cream shop, Duchess bakery, Café, Salons and convenience stores. Get active and enjoy walking, biking, jogging in Millcreek Ravine which is only steps away from your urban sanctuary. Walk your dog in the leash free zone in Mill Creek ravine and take your kids to the park located only 1-2 min walk away. At the end of the day, return to your urban sanctuary surrounded by mature trees and enjoy a wonderful sleep in beauty and comfort.

The space:
The Primary bedroom has a queen size bed with an organic foam mattress from Essentia.
Bedroom number 2 has Two Twin Beds
Bedroom number 3 has a queen size bed.
Bedroom number 4 has a queen size bed.
We also provide a high chair, crib and a playpen for an infant to sleep.

Full kitchen with utensil, plates, pots and cups.

A dedicated office is available if you need a quiet place to work during your travels.

Wifi and highspeed internet is available. Smart TV on the main floor. PS3 and a TV in the basement.

For kids and babies: We also have Toys, high chair, crib and a bassinet.

Guest access:

Our property has keyless entry so should you arrive later in the day, you have total flexibility to access the unit without worrying/losing keys during your stay!

The property was lovely and clean. All rooms were as advertised though was a bit surprised by the basement and arriving down the stairs into the laundry and furnace area? Basement bedrooms and bathroom were excellent. A lovely bright property in a central location.

The house was great for us as well as our three adult children and two spouses. The host was very accommodating and got us in quickly after another rental fell through the day before we arrived in Edmonton. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a nice dining area. Having two bathrooms was great although we did run out of hot water for morning showers. Make sure to stop in at the nearby Transcend Coffee and Duchess bakery!

Pros The house was very clean, well stocked and felt like home. Nice area for walking and close to downtown, Whyte Avenue, and beautiful parks. Cons The yard required maintenance. Grass wasn't cut, the back gate needs repair and it could use some outside lighting. Overall an excellent experience!

We loved walking our dogs in Mill Creek Ravine Park and felt safe in this area. A bit of traffic on the front street but still pretty quiet. It was easy to get around Edmonton from this location. Overall the house is good but not as clean as the other reviews described. There were some old blood stains and sweat stains on the mattress cover of the one bed we used downstairs. The room we stayed in upstairs smelled of body odour. Hopefully these issues are corrected for the next guests. Other than that we were very happy with our stay.

Centrally located house that was close to a great green space and parks for kids. Loved the twin beds for our kids and the little playroom with lots of toys for them to play with! House was clean with everything we needed for our stay! The host was accommodating to changes we requested and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing location , green space by the property and close to a bakery / ice cream shop/ coffee shop and micro brewery ( dining) . The best of it , they are all local businesses. We have kids so they had a blast by having a back yard/ playground and bike trails next to the house . We will definitely stay there again .

Overall this is a very nice place. Andrew and the hosts were always reachable and very nice to deal with, responsive to any questions. The house is very clean. One of the best stocked out of all the VRBO properties I have stayed at over the years. Welcoming to guests, things to see and do, etc. felt like a home away from home right a way. 4 bedrooms and all guests said their beds were comfortable. I know my bed was very comfortable. Lots of closet space, lots for room in the bedrooms. Bathrooms are nice, decent space in both. Living room and dining area are very nice to sit and visit. spacious open concept, very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with all the gadgets, appliances, dishware and cutlery, pots and pans. Everything you could think of seemed to be available. One drawback is that the front street is a traffic through street so no parking. It did not seem to be a very busy or noisy street, however, no stopping in front of the house. However, the block is only about 5 houses so a short block and can access the alley from either side of the block. The garage fits two cars (one garage door manual, the other electric) plus can fit two cars behind the garage. So there is room for 4 vehicles in back. All and all a very nice property, good location, well stocked, clean, inviting, and wonderful hosts that care about their guests. Thank you Andrew and the team.

We rented this property to come to Edmonton to attend a family celebration. 4 siblings and 2 of our spouses. We were extremely happy with this rental. The close proximity to the Mill Creek walking trails was very pleasant. Very clean and lovely decor. Thank you!

Awesome location near Mill Creek Park with trails and bridges and an off leash area for the dog. Almost wish we hadn't been so busy with Family Wedding Events. We didn't get a chance to visit the restaurants just 10 minutes away in Ritchie but we did make it to the Muttart Conservatory.

This place was amazing! As soon as I walked in I noticed everything was clean, the house smelled great and there were no messes anywhere. The bed was very comfortable which is a huge plus for me because sometimes the beds are hard or old and it ruins the stay. Bathrooms were again spotless and spacious. This place is also in a perfect location. Right beside the river valley, my wife and I went for a walk after dinner and it was beautiful. Last but not least, the communication from the hosts was quick, easy and helpful. Would high recommend for a family or even a couple.

Loved staying at this property. Nice little welcome package for us in the kitchen and creative board with information and activity ideas. Clean and well appointed with lots of room for the family. Beautiful back garden that would have been great to hang out in except we had some rain. Steps from a beautiful ravine park and close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this property.
