Perfectly located only five miles from the heart of Annapolis, this newly updated, four-story home with great views of Lake Ogleton is perfect for your next family getaway! The neighborhood lends itself to long walks, runs, and bike rides. Explore over two miles of community Bay beaches and watch the wildlife as it passes you by.

Outdoor living is something out of this world. Enjoy three levels of patio and balconies! The lower-level walk-out patio is home to the six-person hot tub, the second-level large deck opens from the living room with lounge chairs and dining for four, and the third-level large balcony opens from the primary bedroom with seating for two. The beautiful in-ground private pool is surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs. The green lawn ends with a cozy firepit area for evening S'mores and storytelling. Take advantage of the poolside built-in grill available for warm-weather barbecues with your loved ones.

There are many areas to enjoy family time or sneak away to enjoy a book waterside. An extra-large waterside living room with a fireplace opens out to the large, main floor deck. The living room features large, comfy couches and digital projection TV for a comfy family movie night. A large rec room with a wet bar and seating opens to the waterside patio, where you can find the hot tub and grill, and venture out to the yard. On the lower level, the in-law suite has a cozy and warm sitting room. A great spot to hide with a good book - feel free to read historical novels from the homeowners' private library.

The spacious kitchen is complete with plenty of storage and fully equipped with amenities. You will never say 'there are too many cooks' in this kitchen! Granite countertops all around, ending at a large kitchen bar with stools plus a table and chairs for four. The open dining room with an extra-large table offers enough seating for your full family. Or you might as well dine alfresco on the back deck with a table and chairs seating for four. All in all, this home has stellar interior and exterior entertaining space for your family gatherings.

THINGS TO KNOW
The pool is open from May 20 until Labor Day.
There is a strict No Party policy for anything other than approved USNA Commissioning Week gatherings.
This home has a strict good neighbor policy due to the close proximity of neighbors and quiet family neighborhood. All guests should be 25 and older unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details:

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house is large enough to accommodate each family unit without being on top of one another. The pool, the hot tub, the dock, the Blackstone griddle. The air conditioning is superb.

Being close to Annapolis was such a plus – we could go into town for lunch & dinner, rent boats just to add to the overall week of activities. The kids loved the crabbing off the dock while adults loved the main floor deck, peace and quiet, the water views, and the beautiful private pool and spa. The outdoor barbecue allowed us to cook some wonderful meals. The kitchen is extensively equipped with KitchenAid mixer, Ninja blender, several toasters, air fryer, coffee makers and so much more. Furnishings are a bit tired but everything is clean & comfortable.

Our week in Annapolis was filled with day trips to town to DC add to Kent Island. We were out of the house every day for hours on end, but we were grateful for a lovely home to return to every evening. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and there was plenty of space to relax together as a family of 10 during the evenings. There were bedrooms on every floor, giving each of us space to ourselves. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house really needs some updating. Our deck off the master bedroom had three chairs and everyone of them were broken. House was not worth $12,000 a week.

34 is a house with amazing space for work and relaxation. The house accommodated the need for work space and places to eat and play games. I suggest upgrading the decor and furnishings to match the expanse of the home and the cost of rental. Kate with AHA was super responsive and the surrounding community seemed friendly. I enjoyed every moment staying in this happy yellow house on the water in Annapolis. It was the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city living with a wonderful space and setting for enjoying time with family and friends. The large kitchen is a great gathering space-perfect for cooking together with your loved ones-and the large dining room makes every meal special. I loved going for a run or a stroll through the neighborhood while taking in spectacular,panoramic views of the Bay Bridge. Plus, you can`t beat the view in the mornings and evenings from this home! From coffee on the balcony in the morning to a glass of wine on the dock in the evening, there is not a bad place to take in the outdoors. But if you decide to explore beyond Bay Ridge - quite honestly,you don`t need to leave - you are just a short drive away to all the shopping, waterfront, historic attractions, and the U.S. Naval Academy, all nearby in downtown Annapolis. I have stayed at this property now several times with both large and small groups. It is a gorgeous place that is great for a relaxing weekend or a more active time. The pool is great, and the view of the docks and water is gorgeous all day. We never saw the same sunset twice! We also are the kind of crew that likes to cook - the kitchen is perfect for gathering, cooking and enjoying a meal. Our group was 14 and there was plenty of space. Katie coordinated our stay and departure, she was great! We lost power the first day but she kept us in the loop as to when power would be restored. We didn`t expect that with no power, there would be no water so that was an inconvenience as the bathrooms/sinks didn`t work. Despite that, we had a lots of laughs and a great time. Our stay was more than exceptional. The place is spacious and homey. It is perfect for a family with kids of all ages. The location is close to town which is beneficial. The neighborhood is very quiet, safe, and family oriented. The view is wonderful and right on the water. It is absolutely breathtaking! Every detail of the house is built with love and has the perfect taste. The home was more than adequately prepared for guests with all amenities available for use. Having a swimming pool along with a boat dock was a definite plus for our family. The owners are very nice people with a gentle character of hospitality. Quit Looking! If you are planning a visit to Annapolis, this is the property. We so enjoyed our recent stay. The entire property was clean and filled with all the amenities one could want and plenty of space for everyone. The home is beautifully decorated, has spacious rooms and the well equipped kitchen is a dream for anyone, chefs, and novices. And there is an outdoor grill, hot tub, and sauna! The drive in along the way was lovely, the neighborhood or the property could not have been more welcoming. The large open stairway, the bright kitchen and dining area along with a spectacular three level view of the bay,pool, and private pier are breathtaking. We had a wonderful wet week. Thank goodness for the pool and hot tub! The house and location were great and everyone had a good time. We went out on one of the Woodwind sailboats and raced on Wednesday night which was the highlight of the trip.Had no problem launching or removing our sailboat at the community dock. Our stay in this house in 2018 was so good that we returned for a week in August 2019. Spacious, comfortable, and relaxing is the best way to describe this home. Whether sitting on the pier, the yard around the pool or on the deck - the peaceful water view is both beautiful and relaxing. It`s like having your own private resort - it truly is `waterside with it all.` There are wonderful restaurants nearby, but we didn`t want to leave this house - and we didn`t have to with the modern kitchen stocked for cooking. We were very impressed with the improvements that were made in the past year too! Looking forward to returning in 2020! This home is a `GIFT`. Second time we have spent time here. Weather was terrible - rained for 48 hours, but it did not damper the trip. We gathered as family to celebrate our son`s birthday. He is a Midshipman 3rd class at the Academy. We enjoyed the pool, loved the hot tub, and loved the fire pit. A beautiful place to create beautiful memories! Thank you!
