In the magical setting of Grottaferrata (Roman Castles), a few steps from Rome, is located this romantic cottage, a little piece of paradise surrounded by an hectar of green, between olive trees and suggestive cypresses. It is an intimate, special, welcoming place, where couples or families can spend unforgettable moments. The pretty cottage of 62 square meters is composed by two romantic bedrooms, a sunny kitchen, a welcoming living room, a private bathroom with bathtub. When you enter this cottage there's a comfortable living room with a big sofa and antique forniture, in front of this space there's a romantic bedroom decorated with blue floral patterns. To the left of living room there's a bathroom with bathtub and washing machine. Then, on the other side there's a big kitchen with dining table decorated in country style. Finally, to the right there's the second bedroom decoreted in orange color wih imagines of mountain and sea sunset. Outside the cottage there are more than 11.000 meters square of garden composed by a rocket garden in front of the house, a panoramic terrace, a principal garden with footbal field, a typical street in roman style which take to a delicious square, near it there's a vast expanse of park with fruit trees and an old woodshed and a little private church. A minute's walk from the location there are a Bar and a supermarket and two tipical and delicious italian restaurant. The position where is located this cottage is strategic for start your Rome's tour and visit Romans Castles towns. The breakfast is included and will be served into the cottage or in the surrounding garden. Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in der Nähe von Rom
Das Grundstück liegt nur 7km von Rom entfernt. Wir sind mit dem Mietwagen bis zur Metro gefahren und von da aus haben wir Rom erkundet. Auch zu empfehlen: Gardino di Ninfa / Nymphengarten (ca.1h Fahrt) oder ab Anzio (ca.1h Fahrt) mit der Fähre zur Insel Ponza. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, Allessandro war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Kleine Abstriche für zusammengewürfeltes und zu wenig Geschirr + Besteck. Ansonsten alles prima und 5 Sterne wert. Empfehlen dich gern weiter !!

We didnt have a rental car and our first day he drove us to a grocery store and waited for us while we picked up some things. He also helped us get a rental car and was just incredibly helpful in so many ways. Every day our apartment was tidied up and the most delicious croissants were left for our enjoyment. My favorite was the chocolate ones! We were visited daily by a sweet cat named Meatball. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch every evening watching the sun set. Wonderful memories!!

We did not want to leave this charmer! We were so comfortable in this adorable little cottage. The Wysreria were down right georgeous. And our little kitty friend was a d light to see every morning and evening! This place is out of the busy bustling city and we got a true taste of Italy here. If I return I will be staying here!

Etwas laut, da eine Durchgangsstrasse am Haus vorbeiführt. Bei geschlossen Fenster aber kein Problem.
Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, hilfreich und stets zur Stelle.
Wir waren mit dem Auto vor Ort.
An der U-Bahn Anagnina gibt es ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten für 2 Euro pro Tag um bequem in die Altstadt zu gelangen.

Très jolie maison dans un beau jardin. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le nettoyage quotidien, le calme, l'accès facile au centre de Rome, la proximité de grottaferrata et de frascati...et la gentillesse du propriétaire.

But Rome is not all there is to see in the area! Grottaferrata is in the middle of the Castelli Romani....and each and every commune is worth a visit! In addition are such hidden gems as Artena. Alessandro was a fantastic host....they came and cleaned everyday, and left breakfast goodies. We felt quite spoiled, and were sad to say arrivederci.

Un Panorama spettacolare
Ho trascorso un piacevole week end alla dolce casetta con il mio compagno, devo dire che la casa è arredata con gusto ed è talmente confortevole e fornita di tutto che ti passa la voglia di uscire soprattutto in queste fredde giornate. Siamo stati benissimo e ci torneremo sicuramente.

My need is to have the chance to cook inside the apartment saving time and my wallet and there it was possible.

Quello che cercavamo
Graziosa casetta indipendente immersa nel verde di una villa antica.
Ci siamo trovate fin da subito a nostro agio grazie alla simpatia e spontaneità del titolare.
L'unica pecca è la colazione confezionata, che però ci ha spiegato il titolare non dipende da una sua volontà ma dalla legge in tema di somministrazione che non gli permette di offrire prodotti freschi.
Consigliato anche a famiglie con bambini, c'è un area giochi, un giardino con porta da calcio e una piazzetta con canestro da basket.

Lovely getaway in the roman hill
Me, my wife and our baby (4 yo) stayed at la dolce casetta for a long week-end this april, it had the perfect size for us and was very clean.
The host live next door but in a different structure and he is ready in every moment for everything should you need.
We liked the opportunity to be indipendent not just for open the apt (that's normal) but because the host has given us the remote control of both entry/exit gates.
Other things that we appreciated was the huge garden, the delicious coffee and a very tender black cat that has played so many time with our baby.

Twenty degrees in november
Thinking back about our two weeks trip in italy, the 3 days spent at la dolce casetta are those which keep the best and amusing memories. we had already booked a 2 nights stay but we wished to return for spend the last night before our return in Ireland.
The aspects that were more appreciated are the welcome and the care of the furnishings but certainly the main attraction is the garden with its plants and its huge trees.
We traveled as a couple but doubtless next time we'll bring our kids with us.

Feeling at home. Top quality B and B
My husband and I spent two great nights.
This was one of the best B&B I have stayed: the apartment is a good size with large and extremely comfortable bed with good quality linen and it was like being at home. Just the bathroom is not so spacious but equally useful.
The property is in a great location with huge garden, close to the train station and metro station.
Our host was extremely helpful in recommending things to do and places to see.
I would definitely recommend this B&B and hope to go back soon. But what makes this so special is the owner, he's so friendly and make sure you feel really welcome.

Lovely cottage
We are a couple from Manchester and opted for this apartment because through the map we saw that it was near from our destination airport (Ciampino).
Our choice has been right: the cottage is cosy, clean and well maintained. The owner very nice and helpful.

Our second honeymoon
We arrived in the morning around 12 am and immediately went to eat at a restaurant near the house. Then after a few hours of sleep we made alessandro explain what to see and what to do. He was very educated and precise in his directions so we began to discover Rome.
The city is amazing as we imagined.
We spent 10 fantastic days in the beauty of the vegetation that surrounds this lovely apartment, decoreted with blue in the bedroom and in orange in the kitchen and outside the house, with so many different kind of flowers, trees and frame to discover.
The last day of stay was so difficult leave that house that felt like our, i can suggest it to everyone.

We were four, with my children and my husband and we really enjoyed our stay, the cottage is delicious and great atmosphere around him is magical.
I was so sorry when i have come back to this vacation, I suggest you visit over Rome, even the cute countries of the Castelli Romani.

Very cute and cheap accomodation
We are really happy of our stay in Rome, we were lucky enough to find some beautiful sunny days.
Thanks to this fantastic weather, we were able to enjoy the relax in the lovely garden of this apartment, particularly my husband who loved to sit in the hammock outside.
The interior of the house was very nice and clean and the kitchen was very useful to us because we didn't want to go to the restaurant nightly.
The owner was always attentive to our needs, he responded to our request by phone or by mail in less than two minutes, also he took us to the subway station for free and when we had finished our daily tour of Rome we used to meet at the same subway stop for the returns to the cottage.
