We travel with my mum who is not very steady on her feet any more, and the house was ideal. With a good bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor it was ideal for her.
The house is lovely too with a very spacious living room and kitchen diner, so plenty of space for a tween and 2 teens! We also enjoyed the garden during our stay.
The communication with Jo was efficient and really helpful, and she was amazing even with very random questions :-)
The family feeedback was that we needed double the time there.

Lovely property in a great location. Kitchen is a brilliant gathering area to chat during an evening over a glass of wine!
Loads of space.
Highly recommend.

Quirky and cool spot to experience Woolacombe. Kids loved the back yard and the Grandparents loved the main floor bedroom and easy walk to the beach. Also, convenient distance to amenities. We could hear the surf from our bedroom and watch the horses graze on the hill. Recommended...

Perfect location
Amazing location. Great sunny garden for adults and children. We were able to access the property early which was very welcome especially after a long journey with young children. 7 pm is very late for access. The facilities were good and enabled us to have a great holiday. Only negatives were the lack of a highchair, as advertised, only a booster seat, and one of the double bedrooms has a very hard bed. Maybe a child lock on the under sink cupboard with cleaning materials would be a good safety feature. All in all we had a very enjoyable holiday in a comfortable home.

Lovely house. Great location
All was fabulous in the house. 2 of the bedrooms in the eves are fine for kids but beware of opening windows and very low door frames! Lovely big sitting room and kitchen table was great for adults to sit around in evening. We all loved the garden but unfortunately didn’t get the balmy evenings for bbqs and sitting out.

Great location and house, especially for kids
We had a lovely stay at Jo's house. The proximity of the house to the beach was ideal as we have two children under 4 and it was also great to be round the corner from the beach, good coffee shops, a park and takeaways. The house was great for kids (travel cot, highchair and stair gate all there) and there was a garden with a trampoline and lovely outdoor seating. We were also really grateful to be able to borrow surf boards and buckets and spades.
The upstairs had very low ceilings so we had to watch our heads but we comfortably slept 4 adults and two kids (one in a travel cot). Showering facilties were really good and there was a helpful outside shower.
Thanks!

A lovely family home
This was the perfect house for our family holiday. 4 adults and 3 children aged 10, 11 and 12. It is very very close to town and easy walking to the beach. The house is well equipped with everything you might need. Jo is a great host and is around if you need anything.
The upstairs rooms are in the eaves so the seagulls can be your alarm clock some days. The 2 children’s rooms have very low ceilings, so adults beware! But perfect for the kids.
There is only 1 shower/bath too, but none of this affected our stay. We would definitely book again if we were holidaying this way.

Our family beach holiday.
We had an excellent beach holiday. Jo’s house is located within very easy walking distance of the beach. The accommodation was perfect. Our 3 grandchildren aged 7, 5 and 3 loved playing in the enclosed garden. There was plenty of seating for the adults and eating and drinking outside was very pleasurable and relaxing. Parking was easy, as was access to all the village amenities. An ideal home for a family beach holiday.

Beautiful family home so close to the beach, just perfect
We loved our break at My Way Too, a great place for us all to get together and enjoy some family time. The garden was beautiful and such a sun trap, we could sit out till late whilst the kids played with all the toys left for them. The house itself is spacious and clean, as two families we had more than enough space for us all. You can tell it is a family home by all the added extras you wouldn't normally get in a rental house, lots of games, books, dvds, art stuff for the kids and things to take to the beach which we then didn't have to buy. The owners left us a lovely welcome pack and were on hand with help when we needed it. We will be back.

excellent family holiday accommodation
A wonderful happy house to stay in with four children and four adults. Within easy reach of the beach and such shops as needed for daily requirements. Delightful little garden with plenty to keep everyone amused. Having parking is a huge plus in such a busy resort and the owners could not have been more helpful in accommodating our slightly different needs. The beach must surely be one of the West Country's finest, especially if body boarding or surfing is on your list of things to do. Rock pools and cliff walks a-plenty and a splendid fish and chip shop. The queues at the latter are well worth the wait.

A Tardis like property a short walk from the beach
With a party of two small grandsons, parents and grandparents this was the ideal holiday stay in North Devon. The garden and house matched our needs perfectly and were exactly as described in the listing. Even though the weather was variable this did not spoil the pleasure of our stay. There was plenty for the two little boys to do in both the house and garden. They appreciated the toys that had been left by the owners and the trampoline. While they played in the playhouse we were able to grab some sunbathing in the garden on the loungers provided.
The property was clean and tidy when we arrived and Jo and Mark had left us a bottle of wine as well as a travel cot and high chair. No issues arose on our stay but we felt that should we need anything that they would have provided assistance. One thing to be aware of is that two of the bedrooms had restricted height although this was not a problem for our party.
The property was only a short walk from the beach and shops which was important to our group with a couple of two year olds to cater for. There are numerous attractions a short drive away such as the Dinosaur park (a big hit with the two boys) and a steam train ride. However, if the sun shines there really is no need to go very far. Barracane beach with its Sri Lankan curry in the evening is definitely well worth a visit and is a short walk away.
The only reason for being reluctant to recommend this property would be a purely selfish one: if too many people know about it, it will be difficult to book!

Fantastic stay in Woolacombe
We had a fantastic holiday in Woolacombe and loved the house, perfect location and plenty of space for everybody. The kids played non stop in the garden and there were lots of toys to keep them entertained. Only a hop & a skip away from the trails as well which was ideal.

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sea
The property is perfectly located to explore the beach and coastal path. There were 4 young children in our party and therefore could pop back to the house easily as and when we needed. The garden provided a wonderful playground for the children who loved the variety of trampoline and Wendy house. the property was well maintained, cleaned and with excellent facilities. The owner was very helpful and communicative when needed, and we had a wonderful couple of weeks, despite the weather not being favourable!

Fantastic Summer Holiday
This is a really lovely house in a fabulous location! The House itself has absolutely everything you could want for a great self catering holiday. It is very comfortable and homely and has plenty of space for everyone. The back garden is also lovely and a wonderful sun trap.
The location of the house is perfect, being a very short walk from the amazing beach and all the towns amenities. The use of parking permits for the house is especially useful in the peak of summer when the car parks are very busy and expensive.
We stayed at the house as a family of 6 with the party including 2 young children and 2 grandparents and the house was perfect for all of us. This accommodation would however suit all groups and not just families.
The owners were great at giving us all the information we needed and helping to resolve any issues that arose. We would highly recommend this property to others and if visiting Devon again would definitely look to stay here as a first choice.

Fantastic home for a family holiday
The house is situated in a quiet residential area within easy access of the town and beautiful beach.
The house is beautifully furnished and equipped. We had 3 generations, ranging from a toddler to grandparents and everyone was well catered for.
We loved the family touches which really felt like home. The garden and kitchen are lovely and we enjoyed many BBQs.
We didn't want to come home!

Lovely home, great location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in My Way Too, and could really tell the difference between staying in someone's home as opposed to a full time rental property. The location is brilliant. Situated in a quiet residential area, yet a flat 3 min walk to the beach. The garden is delightful.
The owner Jo was fantastic at advising us of things to do when weather wasn't playing ball and also offered us the use of her daughters craft materials to keep our children entertained.
We loved our stay here and would def return again!

Really enjoyable stay
We really enjoyed our stay at "My Way Too" - the house was perfectly located, really close to the town, but on a really quiet street with a beautiful view of the hills out the back. It was very well equipped and very nicely furnished. The best feature of the house is definitely the kitchen and the garden - we had the kitchen door open for most of the week and spent many happy hours in the beautiful garden...we would definitely recommend the house and look forward to returning in the future.
