This was the worst room I have ever seen! I stayed for only 15 minutes and booked somewhere else. The photos on Hotels.com are completely inaccurate, I would checkout room 214! I tried to reach Hotels.com customer service for a refund, but was on hold for over 2 hours before I had to leave! I should get a refund for this type of false advertisement! The building was even locked when I first got there, the lobby has been completely cleaned out, it actually looks like it has been shutdown.

Ordered non smoking room, but instead got a room with a strong smell of smoke. When asked for another room, they said, they don’t have one. Bed sheets and towels were clean, but the room itself was not cleaned for quite awhile. Next time will look somewhere else.

It was a quiet beautiful stay

Room was okay, clean sheets but stained comforter, clean floors but spiders in each corner, clean bathroom but paper then walls. It was okay for a bed late at not but don’t stay here any longer than that on a weekend as traffic is loud and can be heard late into the night.

Bed was too hard, but chairs were comfortable. Nice shower, good hot water.

Very nice hotel ,supermarket restaurant, shopping, center, walkmart clouser

We thought the bathroom was great-looked new.
Carpeting had a nail sticking up by bathroom/carpet needed to be cleaned or replaced
Exterior was very nice except for the front and adjacent building
Exterior landscaping needed allot of work as well as better maintenance of the grounds
Only 8 miles from Lenox-Good location/Industrial area
Price is great/Maybe next time it will be better

This area is heavy in tourism during the Tanglewood festival season, making it difficult to find anything other than very expensive stays, especially on weekends. I wanted an economical accommodation at the last minute, and this worked well. Nothing romantic about it, but the interior of the room was cleaner than a very expensive stay I once had at an expensive Boston airport hotel. I felt comfortable here, and the parking area was very well lit at night.

The water stopped working twice. No front desk person on duty. Place was dirty.

Although quite clean & newly refurbished, the room was too tiny for 2 people. Had to put suitcase on table to have space to open it. AC unit was difficult to operate to get consistent ventilation (turned it on and off several times during the night) and there was no instructions. There were no cups (paper or otherwise) in the room to use to get drinking water or make tea in the microwave.

The FairBridge is a modest hotel that is a solid value for the price, especially in the Berkshires while the BSO is at Tanglewood, which is why we were there. When we arrived, the room and refrigerator were warm, but the A/C was easy to start, and it was a simple matter to plug in the refrigerator. The bathroom appeared to have been recently refurbished, and the linens and towels were clean. For another $50 to $100/night, we could have stayed in a standard chain hotel, but this way, we got to spend that money on dinner instead. The FairBridge Inn is certainly satisfactory for the budget traveler.

It was OK

We arrived to find the hotel itself is very run down and not well kept. The room they gave us had damaged walls and there was an awful smell of cigarettes having been smoked in the supposedly non-smoking room. We did not stay at this place. Their refund policy is 24 hours prior. We arrived in good faith to stay there but were not willing to use the room. They did not refund.

Very close to work.

Outside of facility needs repair/paint

I was put in a room that smelled like dust, it had a door to the lobby in it, and it had the water heater in it

The property is maintained as much as possible by a small (too small) bench of people who try their best... but it clearly needs renovation. A clean but stained blanket, a stained carpet, furnitures without age... To balance, the staff is trying their best to help. And the price has no equivalent in town. The area is a typical American commercial center - with all usual brands.

You get what you pay for. This is a run-down former EconoLodge motel. Although the room seemed clean enough and the bed was comfortable enough (pillows were very comfortable) the place is generally in very poor condition. I don’t know how they keep it open at all.
2.7
it was run by Indians who were intent on squeezing out dollars skimping on customer comfort. stains & a hole in the carpet. advertising free wifi and complementary breakfast when the was none (WIFI safety had expired months before). the office/traveler lounge area was the proprietor's family area and the front door was locked at all times.
2.7
I was given a hard time about asking for a few extra towels. I also killed 4 beetles and 3 smaller bugs that were in the bed; 7 critters total. And the toilet seat was sticky and the bathroom had a permanent old urine stench which gave me a legitimate headache. I will never stay there again.

We showed up with my family including two kids a little after midnight because we hit traffic and doors were locked and no one answered the 24/7 number.
2.7
The owner and employees are absolutely awful . You have to call a phone number to get them to come out and unlock the door to get in the front office
2.7
They never cleaned the room our second day there we needed to go to office to request towels and toilet paper, bathroom mirror was cracked
The maid left the toilet brush in the toilet our first day there upkeep of building and grounds was non existent. There was no breakfast or fitness room as advertised
2.7
The office door was locked with a sign indicating that we should call for a room. Fortunately, one of the managers was there when we arrived and opened it for us. But no one was there when we were ready to check out, so we left our room key in the room. There was also a sign in the office that, due to COVID, no breakfast service was available. It was my understanding that we would pay for the room at check-in, but the manager just took my ID and didn't ask for a credit card to complete the transaction.

We had a peaceful night's rest and felt secure. Our room was clean, beds comfy, and bathroom updated. The outside appearance and the room doors could use some help.
2.7
Just dirty..
2.7
It was a total dump. I had no working water in bathroom sink and flies flying all round the room. Just the worst ever.
2.7
It was ok

They refused service because of my kid came to visit me a d we played soccer outside my room. They sre disrespectful towards Americans. They walked in my room when my wife and kids was in there. They took my money and refused to give it back and hung up on Expedia when they called
2.7
clean, convenient location
2.7
The room in the picture is mislead.. this was a section 8 hotel with people sitting on the floor infront of their rooms. I checked out within minutes.
2.7
This place was an absolute dump. Exposed nails in old carpeting, wallpaper peeling off hokey walls. Smelt awful. I had gotten it so i could take a shower and sleep after a really long race, and we ended up showering quickly (water pressure terrible, toiletries were the cheapest I’ve ever seen) napping and then left to head home anyway. The general look of the hotel was exceedingly run down, and probably a ton of elicit activities going on.
Upsides- there was a very nice fleece blanket on the bed, and there were a ton of restaurants in The area to door dash from.
Do not stay here.

Worst hotel experience ever. Staff member let himself into my room without permission 45min before check out asking when was I going to check out. I just finished getting dressed thankfully. Rude customer service and dirty sheets. What’s worst is knowing I have the proof and yet they refused to refund me after this awful violation of my privacy.

it was very no frills. nothing elegant about thia hotel at all

We have been staying here annually, when we attend Tanglewood concerts in Lenox, a neighboring town. It has been satisfactory, as a low cost, quiet place for one night at a time. There are no extra amenities, such as food or beverages, and there is usually no one at the front office. Our rooms have been clean and quiet.
2.7
Blankets had cigarettes holes
2.7
This property is basically a place that a certain demographic may rent by the hour. Has not been updated in years and the smell in the room was rotten
2.7
Capet and chair covers in room were heavily stained, fence around the premises is broken down.
2.7
The motel has seen better days and then was run down. The current owners are really trying to bring things back, one area at a time. And they seem to succeed. If you are looking for low-price accommodations in the high-priced Berkshires, go for it. Some things need to be fixed in the room, but that's a minor nuisance. And the owners are growing vegetables in areas not asphalted around the property. Can give a thumbs up to folks trying to leave a low-carbon footprint and have an ecological compass. Support them!
