Had the best experience at The Lodge. Goldyne the manager and Evelyn at the front desk are amazing. They made us feel very welcome, gave us complimentary drinks for the Hilltop Lounge thats on site. Room was amazing! Great views of Santa Fe from our room! Reasonably priced. We absolutely loved it. Would recommend 10/10

The outside of the motel looks okay, how ever the inside is a different story. The rooms were dirty, and you might walk into a cobweb. The sheets are stained, and the bed looks like something from the 90s. The bathroom interior was painted over old trim, which could have needed a second coat of paint. The first day, the hot water in the shower was ice cold, and the tub had a hole in it which someone put flex seal tape on it.

loved this place!

Friendly, helpful staff while checking in. They gave us a roll away bed at no charge. We were told housekeeping is every 3 days-they never did show up after 4. We had to go to front desk and wait for 15 minutes for someone to show up and get more coffee and towels.

Upon checking in I was notified that only their bar was open and there was no food service as their restaurant was being renovated and there were no restaurants near by. Went to the assigned room to discover that the bedding and mattress were very soft and unacceptable. Unfortunately, I was looking for some food and a nice bed for some sleep that night. Not to much to ask.
I went back to the counter and let them know the accommodation's were not acceptable and requested a refund. I was told I needed to call a 3rd party to get the refund since not directly booked. I called the 3rd party, Hotels.com, who did a good job in attempting to get a refund on my behalf. However the Lodge refused to provide a refund, decided to keep the $$ even though the accommodations were subpar and no service was provided, even after they told me I would be provided a refund. I'm not sure why they would choose to take such a stance and reverse on their commitment. There are many other reputable hotels in the area.

Comfortable and good value with southwest decor in room. Room didn’t have fridge.

The AC was broken in our first room. I paid extra for Suite with a balcony, the AC was broken so I was moved to a room with no balcony and was not offered any compensation. Then the coffee maker did not work in the 2nd room. The staff was very unconcerned. Very disappointed overall

The hotel looks like how you would expect a Santa Fe hotel to look.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pool was also great.

Hot tub not working and no restaurant on site

Our stay here was good, beds a tad uncomfortable if ou have back issues, the layout was nice. The room had needed amenities. The ice machine wasn’t working on the exterior extended rooms so we had to walk to the main office to get ice. The property is gorgeous and well kept, we were there in August so the weather was amazing. PS the Pool was open which I noticed a lot of comments said it wasn’t. The pool and hot tub was very nice and refreshing for a kickback. The desk folks were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back again, thank you!

The key and door handle didn’t work properly and didn’t open. When I went back to the front desk it seemed like they knew about it, they said to keep trying and if it doesn’t open they will call the maintenance man. The shower had hardly any pressure. Other than those 2 problems, the property was clean and quiet.

This place is very clean, friendly and helpful staff. A tad outdated but still nice. The required amenities fee got to me a bit, plus the ala carte breakfast costs. Parking is great and safe. Close to the Opera and Plaza. Very nice options for food, drinks, etc nearby.

Great hotel, the room was clean and comfortable. Hotel has a nice pool and hot tub space!

They really need to do some updates for the price we were charged. We went during a busy time so rates were high but the carpet needs to be either deep cleaned or replaced. It is just plain dirty in the rooms. The showers were outdated and the caulk was peeling in the shower/tub. The lighting in the bathroom was horrible. There is no way I can see what I look like much less put on makeup. I know that the lighting was a problem in my business partners room as well as he complained that he could not see to shave his face. Staff was nice.

Great location, but the hotel needs serious updating. Dirty carpet, air conditioner had duck tape holding it together, and the room never really cooled down to my liking.

Just need a receipt.

Liked the pool and events going on and the view. A challenge was that there is no bus or shuttle into town so you need a car.

Went to front desk for change for maid tip. They said they don’t do change.

The property is full of character.

Service was very good. The guy at the front desk brought my luggage to the door for me. I like to take baths and showers. The tub had 2 controls, one for hot water and one for cold water. One turned clockwise for water, the other counter-clockwise - very confusing. Also the one for hot water was so hot that I had a hard time turning it because it was so hot -- I needed to use a small towel. I ended up only taking one bath/shower on the trip.

This was likely a beautiful property many years ago. Needs a ton of work and lots of love. I would not stay there again.

This hotel was excellent. Very pretty and comfortable. Everyone was beyond kind and friendly, and it made our stay super nice. Wish I had stayed longer but if I do return there I will definitely stay there.

Check in desk staff were welcoming. The room was quiet but dated, carpets dirty, refrigerators and microwave didn't work. Pool was being serviced so unable to use. We were not informed that we needed to request maid service. Bartender made a great martini so all good!

The pool and restaurant we closed which would have been nice to know before booking. It is obvious they are going through remodeling and room changes but again would have been nice to know up front. They did have a bar upstairs but the bartender was exceptionally rude, we left his rude service. Overall the location is nice and if all amenities weee available my outlook would be different

The staff were friendly and the bed/pillows were comfortable.
The pool was closed, and had been for some time. One of the things on our must-haves for a hotel during summer is a pool. Very disappointing.

We really loved our stay at Hotel Santa Fe. It was clean and conveniently located. The room was perfect and I loved the flute music when we were in any of the public spaces. We ate at the restaurant three times during our stay and it was really good and so was the staff. I used the pool area twice and it was also clean and beautiful. We especially appreciated the Shuttle service. Our drivers were both friendly and informative. We had Sotantar several times and Pete twice. A wonderful experience! We will definitely recommend this Hotel to our friends.

Great but carpets need replacing. Everything else great!
