Amazing historical experience in a great city! Wonderful staff! Highly highly recommend!

Terrible stay! Bed smelled like someone one crapped in it. Front staff didnt really care. I left and stayed elsewhere. Never returning.

Gorgeous hotel and amazing service

Day one. No TV. No response. Eventually changed room. Day 2 shower was broken. We checked out early.
4.7
Fluffy towels, cozy bed, fine furniture and fine people. Time spent by the pool, even though we’re a block from Burbon St, quiet and relaxing.

This is a great hotel. I talked to the staff and they're very friendly and helpful. From the people at the door, front desk, and the maid services. All great folks. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

Always one of our favorite places to stay in NOLA.

I was so incredibly pleased with this hotel. Let me say, I am someone who is usually pretty picky about wanting very updated and modern facilities, but I wanted my son (touring Tulane, and in New Orleans for the first time) to experience the city, not just Uptown, so I wanted an authentic French Quarter hotel, and the Monteleone was a perfect combination of updated and historic. The staff was amazing (they weren't always "in our faces" but always available when needed). Albert at the entrance was so charming, helpful, and friendly. We used the garage and it was worth every penny. We drove frequently outside of the city and we were taking the car in and out, and the garage was convenient, comfortable, timely, and staff was so friendly. We had some issues with needing quick in-room dining, and they were accommodating, friendly, and food was tasty. The location is perfect: walkable, but also easy access to public transportation and driving to highways. The rooms and bathrooms are small, and could use some updating, but they were clean and the beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept in. The essentials like bathrooms were updated and functioned well, so the size of the room (which clearly kept the historic charm) was fine. Housekeeping was fantastic and attentive. I forgot how much I loved this city and haven't been here in a long time. I would stay here again and again! We had a great time!

We were amazed by the Hotel Monteleone & its staff!! The hotel is beautiful!! We stayed in a traditional king room. It was the perfect size for two people. The bed was wonderful!! The AC kept the room cooled in the 90+* heat!! The bathroom was small with very little vanity space. The room amenities were very nice, especially the bottled water Keurig coffeemaker & K cups.
The staff addressed us by name across our four-day stay & suggested excellent restaurants for us to try!! If you are planning a trip to New Orleans, we heartily recommend the Hotel Monteleone!!

Part of a girls trip stay! The only problem we encountered was the valet did not get all my luggage in the car so I drove three hours home before I realized I was missing a bag. Took several call before I spoke to someone who could help. They found my bag in the garage and mailed it back very quickly!

Really neat older hotel with aggressively friendly staff. Really made the stay a pleasure. Would stay again, a good spot in New Orleans.

Great location and if you like hotels with an interesting history this is a local gem. Staff are very attentive and courteous. The only warning is that if you're a sensitive sleeper ask to get a m not facing bourbon st.

A lovely hotel with a very unique feel.

The hotel charged me a garage fee, and I never rented a vehicle while I was visiting. I mentioned that and they apologize and said that it’s no longer on my bill, but still charged my credit card for a vehicle that I never had. So please check your bill and go over it before leaving

Hotel is very nice and so is the staff, only had 2 minor issues during the visit. First the room service they said 20-25 minutes it took an hour and 15 minutes the food arrived cold and was nearly double the listed price $62 for 2 cold sandwiches that seemed like they were prepared to make the 20 minute window, also payed for late checkout came back to the room and our keys didn’t work so we had to take a trip back down and get them fixed.

Our trip was amazing! Our hotel was beautiful and the price was right. We will be back.

Outside of hotel very dirty, don’t think its the hotel’s problem, more like the cities

Stop searching. Just book Hotel Monteleone for your New Orleans trip. Superior king room in the Iberville Tower was newer. On the smaller side but gorgeous. Best housekeeping service ive experienced, hands down! Shower soaks the bathroom floor but other than that no concerns. Comfortable bedding. Robes and slippers a nice touch. Building itself is very pretty and classy and a nice place to return to after exploring the sights, sounds and food of the French Quarter

Very friendly staff, and great house keeping

Amazing hotel, we loved the carousel bar

Perfect hotel to enjoy the rooftop pool and then walk to dinner and experience the French quarter. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the hotel service was great. My only complaint is the street noise but probably due to the fact that we stayed on the 2nd floor. Next time, I will request a higher floor. It was family friendly and the perfect place to stay to experience New Orleans.

Great hotel one thing I was super impressed with was my housekeeper Esmeralda she went above and beyond my expectations She organized all my stuff I left out and even placaras a laundry bag on top of my used outfits. Hotel had great atmosphere and everyone was friendly would highly recommend. Big plus is that this hotel is walking distance to hot spots. And cvs/Walgreens are around the corner for your everyday needs.

We had a fantastic stay - it was myself and my 3 kids (11, 6, and 4). The staff was exceptional throughout our stay. The room was clean and charming and great location in the heart of the French quarter. My only struggle was that we were traveling with a pet that’s not used to the city and the closest place for her to do her business was around 4 blocks away. Not the hotels fault by any means but just something to be aware of if you’re traveling with pets that also might be skiddish. The rooftop pool was one of our favorite parts of the stay. 10/10 would recommend and I’m looking forward to returning again soon!
