the ladies at the desk were great, they helped with any issues we had and made for a great stay.
look forward to vacationing again

This hotel was a nice find, excellent quality for the price. The building is a bit run down outside, but we were there off-season and it seemed there was a lot of maintenance going on. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. They even served a breakfast, which was adequate. The location is wonderful, right next to the beach!

The room and overall stay was good. But according to the pictures when I booked, you could see the ocean from your window. I couldn't see past the very high dunes. There was a pet fee that was not discussed when booking also.

The stay was overall good, the room had roaches. I informed the front desk of this

Room roof leaked, heater only worked one night, was advertised as “ocean view” but was no balcony just a giant window opening up to the main hallway so everyone could see into the bedroom when they walked past and a small view of the ocean over the pool buildings and parking lot.

They let us check in early excellent service

The service was great! The location perfect right on the beach. The mariner is an older hotel but good condition. We did try to use microwave but wasn’t working , it wasn’t that important at the time I’m sure they would have fixed it right away, that’s how good the service was.

It is a beachfront property on the dunes and able to watch amazing sunrises. Breakfast was a nice touch too. Not really a fan of the Roku TV .
2.5
Right on the beach! Friendly staff. Spacious room. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Great hot breakfast. Very happy with our stay. Would love to stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful with my accommodation's. They had a hot continental breakfast that was quite good for a hotel. Definitely recommend for others

Considering the Mariner's Inn is an old Days Inn it was in pretty good condition and the front desk people were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is your standard fare of prepared eggs, sausage, pancakes, various pastries, and cereals, nothing really outstanding.

Was put on a second floor room with no elevator. The room had a terrible odor. The carpet on the outside hall and stairs was held in place with duct tape.
1.5
It was a place to sleep for the night. The pool looked clean and it was right on the ocean with beach access.
Breakfast was not good. Sausage was a pasty gray color and cold. The coffee came out of a machine the eggs were like rubber maybe like other hotels they were powder?? The roomed smelled musty and the floor was dirty. In much need of updates but if you need place to sleep it is just fine. We only needed one night.

We stayed for a week in a Deluxe Suite Sea View. The view is amazing - the motel is right on the ocean. However, you can’t hear it from inside the room and the windows don’t open. There is a balcony walkway that you can drag the kitchen chairs out to sit and watch/listen to the beach, but that was a little disappointing. The room was really dated, and the bathroom tiles were super old and the grout was moldy/dirty. None of the soap/shampoo dispensers had any soap in them. There were two double beds but they were small and not very comfortable. The breakfast is very average. It was the same each day with cheese omelette and sausage, biscuits and gravy, mini muffins, some cereal. Coffee and juice. There is no elevator and our room was on the third floor so we walked up and down a lot of stairs.
The price was good for being right on the beach, but this motel could really use some updating. You get what you pay for. Parking is easy. The pool is old and a little shabby looking.
The desk person was incredibly nice and helpful.

The hotel is pretty nice, the two room suite is ideal having kids. The pool was clean, and beach access is amazing. The continental breakfast was ok, the coffee was better than most hotel coffees Ive had. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Small bathroom and tight parking spot for a SUV

The staff when u arrived where so nice and friendly, the Inn is right on the beach and listening to the waves at any time during the day or night is amazing.

The staff is amazing, the location is superb (less than 2 minutes to the beach). The bathroom looked like it was remodeled recently and for just the 2 of us it was so spacious! The only downside was the room was a little musty smelling but with a little febreeze and air fresheners it was great!

Property and a very poor repair. Carpet is worn and held together in multiple places with duct tape. Room was not cleaned well on our arrival. Beds not made and towels not changed on our second day. Very poor breakfast. We requested a ground floor room, but were given a so-called second floor room, which was really up two flights.

Flys everywhere, horrible smell, questionable cleaning practices. One of the worst rooms I've been in anywhere.

We will definitely be coming back the atmosphere was chill, the view was beautiful, just steps from the ocean. Perfect for the price!! I have recommended Mariner Inn to people here in Va Bch!! Nice get away

The hotel was older but nice. The staff made up for any aging on the building. Thy were awesome

Overall it is a nice place to stay. I really love the pool and easy access to the ocean. A few nice staff but most of them seem gruff. I did book through Expedia to pay at the property but the property billed my card before I arrived.

Building was in bad shape. Rusted metal, dirty around walkways and stairwell. Room had broken dresser and some patchy tile work, where maybe a shelf existed previously. Room was quiet enough and beds were comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly. Overall condition of building and dated rooms made the stay less enjoyable.

A tad run down on the outside but its clean and in a perfect location with a great free breakfast and awesome staff. I enjoyed the stay.

Conveniently located to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. Easy beach access. Well lit at night.

When you pulled the curtains open, there was dirt and dead flies on the window sill. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Check in staff was nice and friendly, helpful.

Wonderful stay and enjoyed the private beach and sea view from room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Thanks to whole team

Staff were very nice and welcoming. Overall the place was quite noisy, tiny room was grungy and humid with a/c set at 70, blanket had what looked like a small blood stain, not worth the price and the ocean view wasn’t very good.
5.0
Our stay was short but sweet. The room was clean and a great size actually. The bed and pillows weren’t bad, which is a plus for us. The location to the beach and other attractions was great. We even enjoyed the pool a little, which I wasn’t fully expecting. The ladies at the desk at check in were very nice and accommodating. No real draw back to this place to be honest. It isn’t real fancy or modern, but for the price it’s great.

The building is older, the shower is lukewarm and doesn’t drain.

Close to beach and restaurants. Nice location and breakfast was free and decent food

Very clean, loud neighbors and pipes that “screamed” when anyone showered or flushed! Great staff, good breakfast!
