borrowed a plunger from a friend because the toilet clogged every time we used it. The room was not very clean. They tried to charge me twice for a day that I added on at check-in. Not a very pleasant experience. Wouldn't change hotels because they took the funds from my acct. several days before I even arrived. Would not recommend that anyone stay at this hotel.

I cant believe I managed to book a room at this awful motel again. I stayed here back in July. The people around there are just shady looking, the staff is not that friendly, and the breakfast is just sad. The buidling looks like it hasn't had maintenance done in 20 years, but it did seem to be clean. We stayed in the suite which was comfortable but not the most desirable setting. Its a cheap hotel if you dont mind a seriously slim breakfastclose to town center.

We just went down for a concert and needed a bed to sleep in for the night. The bed was comfortable and appeared to be clean. The bathroom on the other hand was not clean. There was also a vehicle parked in front of our room that look like someone homeless was living in it And don't get too excited about the free breakfast because there really was nothing there but cereal.

This place needs an overall update. The pictures were very inaccurate. The room had a musty smell, the sink dripped & it just felt gross. Even though the toilet had the sanitary tape, there was brown remnants on the toilet seat. There were black smudges on the hand towel and on a few of the pillows. If I had not brought my own sheet to throw on top, I would have slept in my car. And the ‘continental’ breakfast was a poor excuse that I did not touch. It was four activia yogurts in a mini fridge and about half a loaf of white bread. There were two cereal options in large containers with a pitcher of milk that I dare not touched.

No-frills budget friendly hotel. Staff was nice. Room was clean but not perfect. Location and price was right for my needs which were more inland with a quick excursion to the beach. Virginia beach is huge, so do your research. If you are not overly into the beach and need an affordable option centrally located this is a viable and acceptable option.

It was okay. Good for something cheap, but nothing spectacular. Found some cockroaches in the room and mold along the caulking in the bathrooms and in some of the drawers. There was also sand in the sheets from the previous occupant(s) and some suspicious stains. Breakfast was also a little lackluster. Front staff was pleasant and trying their best. The pool was nice though, very clean.

The clerk that check us in was verry friendly the one that replaces him was rude and verry unfriendly the remote control for the tv did not have batteries so my daugther asked him put some in and he got mad rolled his eyes and whent to get ones we felt like we were bothering him .we will never stay there again

The faucet leaked 8 ounces every five minutes, so not eco-friendly. They were not able to fix it for the weekend. They did, however, come and disconnect the chirping smoke detector.

I had 3 rooms one had an awkward smell. It smelled like mildew. In 2 of my rooms the drains were disgusting. They were clogged with hair. When I brought it to the front desk attention I was given the email of the manager. I emailed him immediately and have yet to receive a response and I stayed a week ago. And the breakfast was Kool aid, cereal and bread slices. Needless to say I won't be staying there anymore.

I have stayed in several Days Inn before , but this is the first one I was disappointed with the breakfast. Their idea of a breakfast was, cereal, toast, banana, yoghurt, decaf tea & regular coffee. They told us breakfast was between 6AM to 10AM. We always went @7AM. Several mornings, there was no coffee no milk, yoghurt or bananas. A good thing I had my regular tea bags with me. They did not replenish for others that came after. Very disappointing.

AC was not working correctly. It was not removing the moisture from the air so the bedding was cold and clammy. Remote for TV did not work at all. Both PM and AM managers were not professional or hospitable.

This place is nasty. Abandoned car outside my room. (Cobwebs from the ground to the car and in the wheel wells, bumper dragging on the ground, filled with garbage.) Smoke free room was smoky with an intense room freshener trying to cover it up. Could barely breath. No hot water in the shower for 4 days, promised a day's refund, have yet to see it. Free breakfast? 2 types of dry cereal, bananas, white bread and tiniest yogurts I have ever seen. That was it. Very small pool. Front desk lady Shy was awesome, but has no authority. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

The staff was combative and offered no customer service. Their attitude is their way or the highway. I found that the refrigerator in my room did not work, and the advertised Premium cable tv channels were not working. When I went to office to discuss the issues with them the managers condensing and arrogant attitude left me choice but to request a refund and find another place to stay.

Thus place needs to be condemned! The bathroom floors were so soft, we were afraid of falling through them. The room smelled very strongly of Marijuana and had burn marks on the sheets. The filters for the air were absolutely disgusting! And the worst part was that someone had previously had a cat in there (they left cat food in the bathroom) and my husband is extremely allergic! We had to wake up early and leave because it was getting difficult for him to breathe!

The wait to be checked in, was ridiculously long, it was only one person working, she was very polite, however she held 20min conversations with each guest as she checked them in, which only slowed her down and distracted her from actually checking you in. Finally get to my first room, and it's brown, stuff in the bathtub, all over in the first room, then I have to wait in line again for another 30mins to get the rooms changed. The 2nd room was cleaner in the bathroom, but the refrigerator was molded and there was holes in the floor, but we kept that room, so as not to get the front desk girl in trouble for changing my room more than once!!! The breakfast they advertise is really toast and yogurt, oh and cereal. Needles to say I did my best to spend as much time away from that room instead of in it!!

Where do I start? The dirty standing water in the tub soon as we walked in. The toilet was backed up couldn’t even flush it. I understand there was downpours of rain that day but if that happens every time there is heavy rain that is a big problem! After the plumbers came I had to wait for housekeeping to clean the bathroom again. The pool was mediocre. It definitely needs some tlc! The so called breakfast was ok for the moment but the picking is very slim! The staff was not very helpful at all!! I encountered 1 staff member who had offered good service!! Lastly make sure you close your bags up because they have roaches!! First and last visit for me!! I’m not even going to talk about the domestic violence that was going on!

Upon arrival, the property was noticeably under construction. Front lobby was dusty, dirty, run-down looking and no one was immediately available at the front desk for check-in - so it gave an eerie, vacant hotel feel. My family of 5 tried to understand and proceeded to our booked rooms only to be further dissatisfied by the outdated look and smell of the rooms, peeling paint in areas, uncleanliness of the refrigerator, poor television reception and the horrible window view of a dirty, closed outdoor pool - not to mention having to kill a very live bug in the wee hours of the morning that darted out from the air conditioning unit of the room! We survived the night only to realize the very distasteful breakfast spread that awaited us in the lobby dining area. When there is work being done in a hotel, I feel like it should be published in some way to prepare prospective guests and more work and attention should be put in to make sure those who decide to stay experience sanitary, safe, and pleasant conditions despite the construction. This visiting family was very disappointed to say the least.

When we got to our room there was so much trash in & around the trash can in front of our door. My husband shut the door & there were cracks at the top & bottom of the lock. There was no hot water to take a shower & the bathroom sink was clogged with some kind of white stuff. The toilet moved back & forth from side to side. One of the chairs in our room was broken. This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Not worth the money at all.

Not a bad hotel. Check in was easy and the room was comfortable. Very close to restaurants. Quiet, although in a busy area. The breakfast was not impressive and can certainly be improved. Also, the room has some structural issues that should be looked at. Parts of the floor seemed like they may give way soon. Overall, a decent visit.
