We have stayed here in the past and have always had a good stay. Price was reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable.

This hotel is old and pretty well worn. Having no elevator made it difficult to get to the second floor. Breakfast was good.

While this property it self is dated. The warm friendly staff and amenities made up for it including a clean updated room. Located minutes from the docks and surrounded by local gems. This place was worth the stay.

This is a run down putdated property. We booked two rooms. The lady at the front desk gave us two rooms after talking to her colleague in a foreign language. Almost sounded like she was being picky. One of the rooms was smelling nasty and showerhead was not working. Went to reception and the ladies just smiled and said nothing. I mentioned the online reviews say you have updated/renovated rooms. She said no the whole property is about the same. The king bed was sagging and had a mattress cover which appeared to be of full size and didnt fit the bed. Carpet is super old! I would not stay pr recommend to anyone. And yes, the second room door lock was all scratched almost like somebody attempted to break in.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was super nice and helpful and explained things well. Room service options were a plus as they allowed you to mark what you'd like replenished if you didn't want the full daily clean up. Like how check in time was 3 PM and how they have later breakfast times as most places I've stayed stop at 9. Great for dog owners. Conveniently located to downtown and bridge to Mackinaw City and Mackinaw Island. Quiet location with a pet area. Clean and well kept main lobby.

Our check in was great with a surprise upgrade and that was the nicest thing I can say. Unbeknownst to us, the pool was out of commission, which should have been made known to us prior to arrival. The second night of our stay there was no parking and the clerk had no options for us. Sorry but that’s not acceptable. There should be parking for all guests. The cable went out one night and the next day after returning to our room we asked about it and they said only some rooms were back up and running and if ours wasn’t they would have to come reset it. The last two days in a row our keys wouldn’t work so we had to repeatedly go to the front desk to get them reprogrammed. You know how long we are staying. Our keys should work the entire time. We stayed 5 days and our room was NOT cleaned at all. The only time someone came to our room was when we requested additional towels and garbage to be collected. There was a sign in the room that said for longer stays housekeeping would come every 3rd day which didn’t happen. The last day there was a leak coming from under our bathroom sink that we reported to the front desk. Oh and there was an ironing board, but no iron so good thing I brought my steamer. There was no dresser in our room, just a TV stand with 2 small drawers so there is nowhere to unpack. Clearly we wouldn’t recommend staying here. Not a QUALITY INN.

Old establishment. Walls are very thin, so the noisy neighbors were very apparent. The breakfast food that was prepared was COLD EGGS AND COLD SAUSAGE and I ate 30 minutes after opening. Other food was limited. IE Milk yogurt. The only hot food was the waffles you made yourself. The POOL was closed and looked like it had been for some time.

For what I paid it was fine. Property is a bit dated. Room was okay however the bathroom needs work. Toilet was loose and the hot water was inconsistent. Towels were thin and need replacing. Bed was reasonably comfortable. There was a water hammer noise in the mornin that woke me up. Had an issue at check in saying card authorization was declined but room was prepaid and the issue was with Expedia.

Service at the front desk was great -- very friendly. Dog friendly rooms were a little on the rough side but very nice size and clean and comfortable. We had a great stay with our two big dogs -- very dog friendly property.

Nice large room, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, pool and hot tub. **Beware** check with office before going to pool was locked out coming back from pool. Luckily had emergency door to get back to the lobby of the hotel. Hotel close to shops and restaurants nearby.

The room was clean, breakfast was okay, VERY tight quarters, only 4 tables to sit at would definitely recommend a separate seating area and just have the food/drink items in the breakfast room. Popcorn and cookies free in the lobby, but wasn't ever any popcorn left. The beds were comfortable. The pool needed a good clean, you could tell that there are a lot of chemicals put in it but there were floaties from the pool cover and it wasn't very clear water. For the location/price I would stay here again.

Parking is easily accessible. Easy going in and out of driveway. We loved the idea that it's a pet friendly hotel but the room that was given to us was near the front door. The noise from the adjoining rooms and the front door set of my dog a few times in the night. We would've preferred a different room further down the hallway where it's much more quiet.The heating system was VERY loud every time it turned on during the night. The staff was very accommodating and friendly!

I was in room 221. I loved how it was away from everybody else. I was very peaceful and the bathtub had Jacuzzi tub in it.

After checking in, my husband and I went to the room to use the bathroom before bringing all our stuff in, only to find out the toilet didn’t flush. When I returned to the desk, the clerk asked what was wrong, then made me wait after she helped 3 other people. Then before giving me a new room, she handed me a container. She said so you can go to the old room and pour water down the toilet to get it to go down. I was flabbergasted. The rest of the hotel showed a lot of aging and disrepair. Chips in the plaster in pool and hot tub.

The staff were excellent. All of them were very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint is the lack of hot water for showers.
