The hotel was nice, but a little tired in some areas. Our room smelt a little damp when we first entered but we had a long 24hrs of travel so were all shattered and just went to bed and in the morning it wasn’t as noticeable. It was clean and comfortable and quiet with it being at the back of the hotel, we heard no noise during our whole stay. The hotel is the perfect base for exploring LA. There’s some nice restaurants and takeaway options in walking distance and the area felt safe walking both day and night. Breakfast was plentiful and available from two separate breakfast rooms in the hotel, you can also take a tray back to your room which the kids enjoyed. No problems with parking in the garage, spaces always available. Pool area is small but we only used it for an hour here and there as we were mainly out and about. 5 night stay was perfect before we moved on to our next destination.

We really enjoyed our stay as a family of 5. The rooms were large and the pool was nice at the end of a busy day sightseeing. The location was central and lots of places around to eat/drink.

I would not recommend staying here on the weekend. There is a club next door that blasts music loud enough for residents to hear the words & feel the base for hours late into the night. In addition, the hotel staff are unable to help if the music is too loud & the hotel is full. No earplugs. Nothing. The hotel is in a convenient location but the noise next door is a problem. The room is dingier than depicted in picture online. Otherwise it is clean. Sub-par breakfast. They offer plain oatmeal with no toppings. Why even bother? The free breakfast is not worth it. Go to Mel’s drive in for breakfast. It’s close by, uncrowded, open 24/7, & the pancakes are good.

We had a pleasant stay at the Best Western. The room was well equipped with a large and comfortable bed. The parking was very convenient and the hotel was well located to access all LA attractions. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast however was terrible - we didn’t return after day 1. The food was not great, but the worst part was only plastic plates and cutlery were available. Not good for the environment or practical to use! The breakfast room was also very small and uninviting. We just walked out to get coffee and breakfast locally instead, and would still recommend the hotel for its value and location.

Nice hotel, ideal for our family visiting Hollywood, easy access hotel parking, room was clean and spacious with aircon and blackout curtains. The complimentary breakfast was great! Pool was lovely too. A handy guest self service laundry area too which was appreciated on our travels.

This was an ok stay but far too expensive for the quality of the hotel. It is in a nice area though - the only good thing here. Parking is excessively expensive. Lobby smelt musty and had old furniture and dirty windows. Breakfast was low quality food, mostly junk food, no healthy options such as muesli or granola with plain yogurt. Had to request room cleaning and fresh towels every time at the lobby which I found very strange. Overall not worth the money.

Older hotel but when you get in you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the rooms and the size. Nice pool. They give a bottle of wine & 2 waters for free upon check in. Across the street from the comedy store. The laugh factory is 3-4 blocks away. Movies are bout 4 weeks away as well as cvs. Plenty of restaurants nearby and very close to the clubs and bars on sunset. Great stay!

It’s a nice property, staff are friendly and overall comfortable and quiet. The breakfast however isn’t worth getting, it’s average at best. Barely any options and frankly it’s like it’s cooked in the morning and left in the Bain Marie’s all morning. That was the most disappointing part as a good breakfast before flying home was something I was looking forward to.

we had a room with some seating outside near to the pool. It was nice and although in the city - no noise, very peaceful. We had Hummingbirds flying above our heads. The room was older, but the bathroom was newly made I believe. Breakfast was ok. Everyone could find something. There were 2 Breakfast rooms- in the one on the third floor were more things to choose from.

We reserved a two-bedroom suite, and the actual suite did not match the suite in the photos. The rooms were a little run-down and the sink was clogged. It seemed over-priced, but it is LA.

Staying at The Best Western Sunset Plaza Hotel was the worst decision of our trip. The lobby was tiny and staff struggled with English, causing communication issues. After waiting for help with our suitcases for 10 minutes, we navigated to our room ourselves, only to find no elevator and poor signage. We passed couples snuggling by the pool and encountered standing water on the stairs, a slip hazard. Our room was dark and unwelcoming, with the air conditioning off, making it initially uncomfortable. The patio was in disarray, with chair cushions on the floor, leaves everywhere, and standing water, rendering it unusable. We were missing linens, and the floor was not vacuumed, with leaves under the beds. The only positive was the provided air purifier and prompt service upon request. Breakfast was chaotic, served on different levels with varying quality and offerings, forcing us to juggle plates and drinks between floors. The food was subpar, and the coffee was terrible. Despite the surrounding neighborhood being safe, there was no overnight street parking, and we had to pay for garage parking, which was cluttered with broken furniture. For nearly $300/night, the hotel needs to address cleanliness, safety, communication, and amenities to meet guest expectations. We recommend finding accommodation elsewhere.

The garden around the pool was beautiful. The air conditioner in our room wasn’t working properly, the refrigerator was not cooling properly, and the TV channels were not working. I need my money back because what I paid for each night is not worth it. I will not recommend this hotel for myself, family and friends.

The pool area, front desk staff, breakfast would merit a four star review, but the room we were assigned was dark & cramped so only deserves two stars. Sunset Strip is not a great area for families, so recommend picking a location closer to other points of interest.

Average at best. They are not transparent about the car park fees. And at reception they seemed to make the amount up, then charged me twice. The bottle of wine never arrived, and they are not providing any housekeeping. I asked for clean towels and they couldn’t be bothered to remove the used ones. It’s gone down hill and I think there are better places in WeHo than this place.

Two queen room was very large. But it had a damp odour to it. Fortunately an air filter was already in the room. Breakfast options were outstanding. Outdoor pool had a great sitting area around it.

We stayed in a one bedroom multi bed suite with five people. Lots of room and a kitchen. Bathroom was clean and renovated. Level three has a lot of steps so can't use a bell cart. Expensive area so the price was decent for the area. Kids loved the breakfast and pool area is pretty.

The room had a terrible smell. The carpet was dirty and very damp which I believe why the room smelled. The bed sheets and pillows were also damp which made sleeping very difficult and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place.
