Room was a tad on the dirty side, noise was an issue at times. Large TV with cable, bed was on the soft side. Upon entry the room had an unpleasant fragrance but we adjusted after an hour. Pet fee is $25 plus tax.

Location is superb for everything in Glenwood Springs. Great parking facilities, great staff especially Angel on reception also young lady in the evenings too. Room was excellent. Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight and was very lack lustre but it was free. Didn't have it two mornings of our stay.
Good 10% discount at local attractions too via qr code on reception.

Was surprised to see the condition of the hotel based on the high price and recommendations.
Building looked really old, walls in poor condition.
Room was small, not particularly clean, shower head barely ran.
Find somewhere else.

We had a couple of issues. First, we arrived around 1:30pm and were told they had a few rooms ready, but wanted $30 for an early check in. We declined and came back later but I don’t find it very customer oriented to charge money for something that isn’t costing them anything. Also the TV reception was terrible. We complained, but nothing was done and we were unable to watch the football game, and frankly most every other channel. Other than that, it was clean, comfortable and in good location.

Do not skip reading my review! I know, I usually don’t take low reviews to heart, but you should take this one at its word. It is shocking to me that people give this place 10/10. 6/10 is generous. 4/10 is an accurate rate for this hotel. They say the hotel was last updated in 2018, but having stayed there once a year for the last 4 years (for a local event), I can honestly say the hotel interior has exponentially deteriorated with every year. There’s a layer of grime on every surface, the carpets need a deep clean, the hall lighting is hard on the eyes, the hotel may be non-smoking but it smells like smoke in the halls and room, there was a mouse (or bat?) scratching inside the bedroom walls, and my skin is still crawling after many showers at home being worried about getting fleas or mites from staying there (we don’t have a dog but they allow dogs there so must have been left from the previous guests). Either way, we paid $311.27 a night for this hotel and I would have expected a whole lot more.

There were bugs in my bed

This hotel could use updating & new lighting.

Loved the area around the property. My room was relatively clean and well maintained, though small and compact. The hotel was extremely busy and parking was almost hard to come by. The room's door was very heavy and loud so every time I opened it I know I woke up my neighbors (theirs woke me up too). Overall a very good stay though!
4.2
In general hotel is good. I want only to ask Hotels.com to describe better that the visitors cannot leave earlier and receive reimbursement for unused nights. We had to interrupt our stay because of medical emergency, but we were told that we had to inform hotel at least 48 hours before leaving. Please include such information about 48 hours into signed itinerary. The travelers need to know about this.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel. I appreciate that the rooms have microwaves, and small refrigerators. Iron mountain and glenwood springs pools are walkable and the Mexican restaurant next door is amazing.
4.2
The hotel was ok, slightly overrated in my opinion. It was out dated and needed a refresh / remodel.
4.2
They got rid of their happy hour .this was very disappointing it’s part of reason we use this location.
4.2
The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to be able to open a window and get fresh air. The bathroom was nice with a step in shower and plenty of towels. I used the hotel gym. I liked the choice of equipment and was surprised to also see free weights. The room needs a fan. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel hallways could use an update. Angel, the hotel front desk person, was very friendly and helpful. She recommended Two Rivers Park for a walk. It was a great suggestion.
4.2
Very comfy, well located. All the main places were walkable. Loved customer service’s

Great Location, easy walk to everything.

The room was clean but service was terrible. We stayed 3 nights and the last 2 nights we were unable to get into our room. Each night we had to go to the front desk so they could reprogram our room key. Never received an apology. The first night the desk clerk never even could bother to say hello or acknowledge us. Rooms were never serviced so we had to grab extra coffee service from the cleaning carts,

Enjoyed a comfortable and clean room with a short, 4-5 minute walk, to the Glenwood Hot Springs. There was a beautiful, but closed pub in the lower level, due to lack of funds/bar keeper. Oh well, sign of the times but if possible, at least in the summer months, it would be a fantastic alternative to the local bars in Glenwood Springs.

We’ve stayed in a lot of La Quinta’s before. the room was clean, breakfast was okay, location is excellent, very close to everything we planned to do in Glenwood. Had an issue with a non-draining/slow draining tub, which took 2 days to resolve which was frustrating and inconvenient while on vacation, the front desk staff and night manager offered no solution, my wife had to keep on following up which in my opinion should be the guest’s least concern while on vacay. We stayed here 3 nights.

This hotel is a very family friendly resort - great small pool and whirlpool for kids indoors. Free breakfast was good. The front staff could have been a little more helpful and attentive. They need to welcome guest and explain more about the facility when you check in. We just knew about the free breakfast from friends and we had to explore to find the pool weight room etc.
4.2
Free breakfast was good.
Property is getting old, room door stuck badly and both our keys refused to work at one time and had to go to the desk.
4.2
Knocking the door pretty hard on the room in front to us and then People fighting at 3:00am on the hallway police arrested this person too much noise and scare situation!
4.2
Needs updated. Bath tub drained super slow, other than that it was ok. Good breakfast & personal

Great place to stay.

This property is dirty, run down and in need of many repairs. Vent cover literally came crashing to the floor while I was in the shower. You can hear every entrance and exit in surrounding rooms.
4.2
Wall were thin and neighbor had a barking dog… was renovated with nice finishes, nice bonus to have breakfast included… location was very convenient being so close to the hot springs pool and caverns adventure park.

The hotel was close to many restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and very helpful when checking in. Breakfast was Ok. See you next year.

Walking distance to everything in glenwoodsprings
4.2
The property is in need of a renovation. It is out dated and not clean. The carpets are dirty and the floors in the breakfast area were sticky from food and drinks. The elevator was in poor condition and also dirty. The only plus is the location close to downtown and the pool.
4.2
The facility is clean however there is a faint odd smell of smoke (?) in the room (it was supposed to be a smoke-free room). Location is great close to restaurants, the Glenwood Cavern Adventure Park and Glenwood Hot Springs. They also serve a decent breakfast with hot food like scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle station etc. Staff service is great.
4.2
This is an oldet hotel that has been nicely renovated. Most importantly it is very clean. The breakfast was typical but very good. The location is great - very walkable.
Only downside is there are not enough parking spaces.
4.2
This property was noisy and needs to be updated. The door handle in the bathroom was loose.
4.2
Not very clean, elevator, pool, facilities very run down. Breakfast was basic, had security issues the second night. Staff double booked our room and have keys to our room to another family .

Property a little run down but clean. Breakfast was good.

The hotel itself was really beautiful

We couldn't check-in early was the only bad thing. Free breakfast was delicious! Great location. Price was a bit expensive but about the same to other hotels.
4.2
It was a great location for walking to restaurants, downtown venues and trail systems. Both Hot Springs venues were close by with easy access.
We enjoyed our stay.
