Delightful overnight get away to Santa Fe. Room was comfortable, fire place was wonderful. Will stay here again

Great location and lovely room. The fireplace was great and the coffee in the morning great. It was easy to park and easy to get to the gym at the neighboring hotel. Everything was wonderful.

The Hotel Chimayo is a charming, centrally located hotel in beautiful Santa Fe.

Location is the best, half block off of plaza. Parking is no issue; very nice. Room was very comfortable, great bed. Great restaurants within a short walk; the best. Room was very clean and cleaning staff was very competent. Second stay there this year and will be back in the future.

The location is superb.

Absolutely amazing! Great property, so close to everything in the square. Staff that goes above and beyond!

Completely enjoyed our stay. Room was very nice. Staff very helpful & Friendly. Hotel perfectly located to enjoy Sante Fe.
We parked the car on our first day & did not use it until the day we left. Wonderful to be able to walk everywhere.

Great place to stay in Santa Fe. Close to the plaza, restaurants, etc. and historic hotel that is filled with Santa Fe charm.

Very nice cozy hotel. There was a loud noise all night long. Probably an ice machine.

The room was not worth the price. The carpet holds many smells that despite the amount of cleaning it likely receives between bookings, it gives off a strong musty smell every time you enter the room. Our room was much darker and well-worn than the online pictures portrayed. The balcony was dirty and uninviting. The bathroom was severely outdated and the television very tiny. There are no amenities, such as pool or breakfast, to qualify the price being so high. The only positive was location, but for only $65 more per night we could have stayed at La Fonda and I wish we would have.

Another Heritage Hotel Flop. We came up from Albuquerque for our anniversary and know that location equals higher rates. But for $500, we were completely let down. The staff was really lovely, the common areas are beautiful and the robes ate soft and comfy. But the rooms? Awful. Ours was dark, dank, and dated with a musty smell. The rug is so old it bubbles throughout the room. A/C was LOUD and did not work properly which made for miserable sleeps. The drainage in the accessible shower was so poor that there was water almost all the way to the sink which made getting ready dangerous. I didn’t realize Hotel Chimayo is also a Heritage Hotels property when I booked it; but it makes total sense. I stayed at the Inn and Spa at Loretto which is part of that group and I had the same experience. They rest on their locations and don’t feel any need to make BASIC updates. Plus I emailed the front desk about the A/C issue with no response. Truly disappointing.

2 restaurants. 1 served mediocre food, no alcohol. The other served alcohol but no food. No valet service, no bellhop service. Hotel offered no breakfast. For a Heritage hotel, could have been better.

Loved the charm and unique atmosphere!

Hotel has tons of character and right off the Plaza. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room felt a little dingy, so maybe paint, and had a strange set of stairs going down to the next floor. Very comfy bed. Unfortunately the nice in-house restaurant wasn’t open. The best part is the beautiful front porch with comfy chairs and shielded from the street with landscaping. Great place to sit and read with a glass of wine.

Feels like Old Santa Fe. Right off the plaza. Lovely staff & service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Chimayo. It was our first stay at this property & will definitely return. It was handy to have parking in downtown Santa Fe & we enjoyed being able to walk to shopping & dining options. The property was clean & quiet & all the staff were great. Highly recommend this property for a stay in downtown Santa Fe.

Everything we expected except rooms next to each other. Requested this on April 9th, 2024. Close to all we needed and pleasant people to work with.

Every time we visit family in NM we spend a few days to ourselves in Santa Fe. We initially picked this hotel because it is pet friendly. It turned out to be such a nice place. Our room was reasonably priced, spacious, and most of all very clean. It’s just a short walk to the plaza and surrounding businesses. Definitely staying here again.

First day room was drab and next to parking lot changed rooms not much better. Stayed one night and then paid to upgrade. Much better however have billed charges from Hotel.com and hotel totally $922 for stay. Includes a credit from you. Hotel says their charges of close to $300 will drop off. Haven’t seen credit yet??

The hotel is so close to the Plaza therefore close to galleries, museums, artists, shopping and top eating places. All within walking distance. I love the parking facility under the hotel, with an elevator. I only wish the elevator went to the second floor where the larger rooms and restaurant are. Wd have stayed here three times.

We were very impressed by the staff. We had a little issue with the water in our room and they were wonderful in making sure we were adequately taken care of. Other than that we had a great time in Santa Fe.

Twice disappointed with early closing of restaurant our first night stay
Trying to order at 8:25 pm but kitchen closes at 8:30 pm
Too early for summer time in a resort town
Same with bar the next day with no effort to serve a glass of wine at 8:30 pm

Great place! Rustic in the best way. Courteous staff. Great location we were able to walk to many restaurants, shops, and galleries. Great restaurant bar on site. We never had to drive or Uber. Definitely staying here next time we visit.

Great hotel, great people, great location, covered parking.

I found this hotel not worth the amount they charged for one night. The bathroom was so small I could not even turn around. I will say the bed was very comfortable. Hotel personnel pretty helpful with my requests. The worst part and the reason I would not stay there again they were going to charge me a 100.00 annuity charge for parking I did not have a car wi-fi service and housekeeping. Was not told about this charge before hand or I would not have stayed there. After causing a fuss they finally took these charges off my invoice.

Fabulous first class rooms and service. Parking is VERY limited. Will definitely stay again.

Great location one block off the Plaza with underground parking. She was so kind when we checked in. We’ve stayed here many times over the years and love the unique charm of the rooms.

Lovely hotel, large clean room, and very convenient location near the Cathedral.
