Heater was very noisy, didn’t sleep well. Phone was totally dead, only usb plugs were on tv. Only one tv station for kids. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was amazing

The room itself wasn't bad. Not the cleanest, all the furniture in the room had some sort of damage. The bathroom was tiny. The shower looked like they tried to paint it and is now peeling. There was no hot water in the room. They gave us a key for another room to use and that also didn't have hot water. I don't recommend staying at this hotel. Maybe once they finish the renovations it will be better but it is not good right now

Hotel was under some construction. No hot water in shower on morning of Wednesday, April 3. ... Also, no fault of the hotel, but very disappointing that there are few stores open in the vicinity of the restaurant. Very few coffee shops, stors, bars or restaurants in walking distance.

I have spent well over 1,000 nights in hotels in my life. This was THE WORST EVER. If I had a dollar for every time I have heard "I'm sorry" at this hotel, I would have had a free stay. From the construction going on, to the horrible exterior conditions, to the obvious neglect, to the 20-minute check-in from a temporary desk, to the lack of hot water in an entire wing of the hotel, to the non-functional TV (not even hooked up) to their admission they should have never put us in that room in the first place, to the lack of basic ingredients for drinks at the bar, to week-old bar fruit, to the overpowering air freshener that had my wife's eyes tearing and a sheet over her nose, it has been a disaster since we got here. I stay at least a month a year, more like 6 weeks a year, on the road, and I have never seen a hotel this poorly maintained or staffed. It turns out they are housing undocumented migrants here during their "renovations." How that plays into all this is that their turning the hot water off was INTENTIONAL, because who's going to complain? Don't spend your hard-earned money here.

You pay for what you get.
The room wasn’t cleaned prior and the heating system was broken leaving the room to be over 90degrees!
No towels were left in the room and the bathroom wasn’t clean!
Only stay here if absolutely necessary! There are other great hotels in this area!

Stayed here two years ago and it was cheap and cheerful. This time it was awful. Only one elevator worked. There was mold throughout the shower, rooms on our floor had no door handles and it didn't matter what time of day someone was always smoking pot at the entrance. I was later told that it's also a refugee hotel which makes sense as the place was completely worn out. No complaint about refugees but having to share The only elevator with numerous kids, toys and garbage isnt really my thing I would never go back.

They need to get the heating situation under control

Overall stay was extraordinary. Just needed time away to myself to relax and get comfortable.

Apparently, the hotel had been closed for some time when I showed up and no one informed me about it. Ruined my new year’s eve plans!

Arrived and was told that they couldn’t make up key cards. They offered to hold onto our luggage while we went to dinner. Upon return, we checked in a d received our key cards. However, strangely, a security person accompanied us to our rooms to ensure we could get in.
When we arrived on our floor, we were greeted with a construction site. Drywall dust everywhere, mattresses and bits of furniture strewn through the hall. When we arrived to our respective rooms, we found the entire room full of dust and my colleagues said that the toilet in his room was used but not cleaned.
I was aware that this Holiday Inn had some poor reviews before booking, but I didn’t expect to see anything as bizarre as this. It’s great that they’re renovating, but they can’t expect guests to literally sleep in a construction site.
The kind attendant at the front desk refunded our credit cards. We booked nice accommodations at another property which we should’ve done from the get-go.
3.3
We were placed on the floor that was under renovation. Why would you place guest our floors that are being renovated what they should’ve done was renovated half the hotel and place guest in rooms that are not renovated We had to walk down six flights of stairs, because the elevator wasn’t working. We wasn’t informed of this by the hotel staff I recommend that no one. I repeat no one stays at this hotel at all if they gave me a free night, I would not stay at this hotel.

It would have been nice to know the property was under construction when booking. There was literally no warning or indication until arriving. Also in a building with at least 12 floors why shove everyone on the floor that’s under construction!?!? Not a good move!
The Elevator was extremely slow and inconvenient, which took me to the 6th floor (my floor) which was completely under construction. Tools, wood, nail, paint and workers everywhere. Extremely unsafe and again no warning at all from the front desk!
Then the workers didn’t even know which rooms were occupied so I was woken up at least 4 times by people trying to enter my room; how is this allowed to happen!!??
The heater was blasting in the room with no way to turn it down, the engineer had to just shut the A/C completely off;NICE! If that wasn’t enough, I left to get lunch and came back to find my room wouldn’t unlock! I go down to the front desk the lady swiped my card and sent me back up. It didn’t work again! I went up three times before she finally said “oh my bad, I forgot to update something; it should work now” Like thanks for the inconvenience. All in all would definitely NOT RECOMMEND!
It’s a shame you can take my money and demand I pay using only certain methods but can’t do your guest the simple courtesy of telling them before hand! By the way we do not accept these forms of payment.

Check in took over a half hour. Place was under construction I understand that because I used to build. But construction was all over the place not in one area. Room was not clean. No ice machine to be found on property. Room was hot as hell and air conditioner just blew hot air. Woke up to workers music down the hall.
3.3
Check in was horrible. I was almost 40 minutes to check in their systems are awful. Then they almost charged me twice for my room
3.3
I get that it was being remodeled but it was pretty disgusting. Food and garbage in the stairwells and the room didn't look or feel comfortable at all , carpets and walls were stained and damaged. Closing during the remodel would be a better idea .

I know construction outside the hotel on the traffic isn't the hotels fault, but it sucked! Then construction inside, started everywhere, yet so many areas, yet all partially completed? It's like NYS shutting down most of the rest areas.. almost all instead of every other. No restaurant opened the night of a huge concert? No vending machines with any drinks in them, while there is no open restaurant? One elevator while the other is out of service? Come on! Totally unacceptable... Totally. Who the hell is the Project manager? Not enough parking and being told just go across the street.. meaning drive around the block through construction and hopefully you'll find the right parking garage... Seriously? The ladies at the front desk were totally stressed, but had no help, they did great with little help. 85° in room, no matter what way you turned thermostat, it just got hotter and more stagnant. What a dump...

Property was under renovation. Took us almost an hour to check in. We were told the hotel had been overbooked. Our room was changed over to a king bedroom on the floor that was being remodeled. There was construction noise all night and morning.Hallways were full of constructive debis and drywall dust. The elevator would not go to our floor when we arrived and we had to take the stairs. There was no toilet paper in the room and the air conditioner did not operate. Only heat worked and the room was hot. No hair dryer and we were late to our event nearby
3.3
Took forever to check in, hotel overbooked. Staff started knocking on our door at 815am to clean room. Staff had their infant children running all over the hotel while cleaning other rooms. No wifi, dirty carpets, extremely lazy front desk staff. Military security guards posted all over the hotel
3.3
Hotel is dual use as homeless sanctuary, with multiple security guards 24/7 in the hallway. Heating is claimed to be turned off for whole hotel, after asking 3 times it was turned on. Most facilities are broken or unavailable (lamps, coffee machine, pool, restaurant). Construction in and all around hotel.
3.3
The hotel is in the midst of a renovation so we had to just go with the flow. The mattress was clean and comfortable so we had a good sleep. Everything else is in need of update. The 'full service restaurant' is on the main floor and definitely needs to more ambiance. The breakfast was okay. It was included in the night charge. I wasn't worth the $15 they wanted to charge us. I'm sure it will be much nicer once the renovations are done.
3.3
The worst hotel stay I've had in at least a decade. To list my gripes:
- Check-in took over an hour (not because of a line)
- Three children had wandered into my room and were in there when I arrived. There we no other rooms left so I could not be reassigned.
- No bulbs in any light fixture in the room
- No toilet paper
- Phone and TV was broken
- Exposed paneling above the shower
- Dirty sink
- Chewed cupcake on the floor
3.3
My room was quite stuffy and the bathroom smelled like smoke. A Roach crawled up to my desk while I was working there. The restaurant was closed by the health department. My luggage came home with me smelling of the room. Not a good experience. Even though it was under renovations, it was not ready for customers.
3.3
Elevator was barely working and scary. The entire second floor had some type of school going on and had flying bugs all over my room. Refrigerator did not work and hotel was generally a mess. The hotel menu had 4 items on it. Staff was very nice but hotel was a disaster
3.3
Didn’t have our booked room. Hotel overbooked. Heater didn’t work. Floors, walls, drapes dirty. They were renovating, but still terrible. Understaffed.Holes in walls. Electrical questionable. Staff inexperienced but helpful. Had to sleep on couch (not sofa bed). Elevators and outside doors broken.
3.3
The hotel was smelly (cabbage mildew combo).
It was a construction zone, not advertised. Pool empty, also not advertised.
3.3
This hotel was a disaster. From waiting hours for our room to be clean so we could checkin to the handicapped shower that didn't work, this hotel was a nightmare
3.3
The property is under renovations.
3.3
Terrible experience as the hotel is under construction and everything about the property was barely operational and the room we had was dirty, beyond outdated and amid construction zones. Expedia should not have this property on their site until it is renovated. Very disappointing.
3.3
The property was under construction and parking did not had a good lay out.

3.3
The hotel is under construction, so there was a lot of dust and noise very early in the morning. Also, only one elevator was working.
Furthermore, the bedroom toilet got clogged and began to flood. The beds were not completely clean either. The walls seemed to let in all sounds from the surrounding rooms, such as talking and music.
3.3
The property is currently under construction so there was a lot of dust in the lobby. Also, my room wasn’t available until after 5p despite the hotel saying check-in was 3p.
3.3
Lobbt was being renovated so kind of a mess but room was nice size and clean
3.3
The place was under construction and no one told us. We still had to pay the same rate and the place was in total disorder.
3.3
It was an ok stay, but the hotel was not clean and there were foul smell in the rooms. I travel with my cleaning kits so I took care of few things but I was disappointed
3.3
I cut my hand on the shower curtain rod. I fel off of a broken chair in my room.the staff did not give me the required paperwork when I checked in.
3.3
