A property that likely has a better past, however, it still exists in the past. Given the price point, I would have expected evidence of an attempt to modernize the rooms. Other properties in the area have a very worn appearance, and frankly I expected more from this hotel. Not a spoiled traveler, it just did not meet expectations.

Baranof’s location is very convenient for exploring the Downtown Juneue. Their breakfast items are very good. Overall, clean room, timely services, and comfortable stay.

Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. Tired, stale, outdated. Bathroom sink didn’t drain. No hot water in trickle of a shower. Soap dispenser in shower broken. Maintenance did eventually come and fix the shower. Do not stay here

Great location, free parking. Walls are incredibly thin, hear everything from the rooms on both sides. Ear plugs necessary.

Beautiful renovated hotel in the heart of downtown Juneau. Service, location and cleanliness were excellent. Only negative is that I was there in July and August and it was HOT and hotel has NO air conditioning! They did provide a fan and the windows opened, but it was hard to sleep in the heat. No AC is normal for hotels in Juneau but room was very uncomfortable.

This hotel should not be rated as a 3 star hotel. They should not be allowed to charge $600 plus dollars per night to simply rip off tourists. The bathroom had a leaky tap which sounded like torture and water boarding. The lighting is horrendously dull. We arrived at 2am as our flight was delayed, the staff was extremely unhelpful. They situated us in 302 on a fire exit and there is a 2 inch gap on the door so you hear everything. The bathroom you can’t even turn around in. Poor standards by any means. I feel highly ripped off!

I assume we got the "Expedia Room", the smallest hotel room I've ever been in and at the far end of the hall, Overlooking food truck court and live music. Maybe 9x10 useable, bathroom door could only open part way. Staff pleasant and helpful.

The noise level was deafening. The Staff never called for a cab to the airport. The Maid service and slamming doors was very disruptive.

Spent 2 separate nights. First room was a bit tight but second room was a roomy corner room. Clean, comfortable with small fridge, microwave, in room coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, gel, lotion, hot water. Easy walk to everything in Juneau. Pleasant staff. Restaurant and bar on site. Would stay again!

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in 2 hours early. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was no shower curtain when we arrived but staff brought one within an hour of the request. The hotel restaurant had good food with friendly staff. The concierge, Kelli, was excellent and helped us book 2 amazing excursions. The hotel is close to several other restaurants and walkable to shopping and the cruise ship area. We stayed for 6 nights. Our room was cleaned every day and stocked with fresh towels. We were very pleased with our stay.

The restaurant wasn't open only a limited menu in the bar which was disappointing. We ate elsewhere. The towels didn’t really dry you. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very expensive for a very small room. Walls are paper thin so we could hear everything (everything) our neighbors were doing throughout the night. Room was clean so that was a good thing.

We arrived late and were promptly greeted by bellman and front desk staff. Room is small but comfortable, king bed, blackout curtains, they furnish shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers, hair dryer, good WiFi. Prompt maid service. Good location to restaurants.

The room was uncomfortably warm with no air conditioning and no fans, not even in the bathroom. There was no thermostat to adjust temperature and it was very warm, to the point of sweat dripping off of my face. The hotel should provide fans in the room to improve guest comfort.

The property is older, but well-kept. The room was small , I guess because the bed was big. The bathroom is small, but works. The bed was very comfortable. Very. We liked having the room at the end of the hall because it had two windows.

Pleasant staff. Room was clean but very small with two single beds. Barely room for our luggage. Breakfast inthe hotel was fine. The hotel is one block from an outdoor food court serviced by excellent food trucks, a very practical solution to a seasonal business. The hotel caters to airline crews and tour ship clienrs, so it can be busy at times. Oddest of all,you need to go outside and down the block to do laundry in a mini laundromat. Overall, a satisfactory stay.

I appreciate that it is an older building conveniently located, comfortable bed with natural air conditioning. Waking up to the snow clad mountain and cool summer artic breeze, natural air conditioning was a very authentic experience for a caribbean guy.
